About: I work from home and would love to host and care for your fur babies while you are at work or away on vacation. I have loved animals of all types my entire life. My husband and I formerly rescued and fostered multiple rat terriers and placed them in loving homes through an organization called New Rattitude. I currently have a volunteer position with the same organization as a microchip coordinator. While I was in high school and college I worked for two animal clinics in the Metro Atlanta area and volunteered with local animal shelters. My family pets over the past 22 years were 2 Rat Terriers and 2 Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mixes that all lived to be seniors. I have experience in caring for dogs of all ages. Since I am at home so much, your dogs will be not be lonely, they will be doted on and treated like royalty. I have a large fenced in yard for sniffing, exercise and exploration. I only take one client at a time. I do not have any pets of my own. Yours will have my undivided attention and care. I will update you with photos and status reports on a daily basis. Please understand that while we have experience with senior dogs and dogs with special needs, we are currently unable to book dogs that are experiencing incontinence (even with diapers) and night time pacing/spatial disorientation/sleeplessness that comes with senility. Since I work from home, I will keep your dog on any required schedule such as medications, supplements, specific feeding times, and potty breaks. Playtimes and naptimes will be intermittent throughout the day. I have comfy doggie beds throughout the house and under my office desk. My home is clean and safe. I have a secure, fenced in yard with many areas to explore and space to run around. All gates are padlocked. I also stay outside with the dogs that are in my care. I leave a full bowl of water out 24 -7. I allow dogs to sleep in my bed if that is what they are accustomed to, I can also crate them if that is preferred. Your dog(s) will be safe and happy as guests in my home. I have a Red Cross Certification in Pet First Aid in the rare occasion there would be a need. I am also sensitive to dogs with thunder and firework fears, we have a comfy furnished basement space that mutes the bad sounds and we hang out there until everything calms down.
About: I have always loved dogs and I have decided that I want to be around dogs in my free time because it makes me happy! I am a soon to be retired school teacher and want to spend my time now with animals especially dogs! For the next 10 months I will be still working my teacher schedule and would like to get a head start on my next venture. I would be available for dog sitting on weekends and dog walks after 3pm during the work week and anytime over weekends. I have always had a dog growing up and very lovingly cared for my own dogs for the last 31 years. I enjoy being around all dogs. When I retire I would also like to volunteer somewhere for dogs. About: I provide a relaxed, tranquil environment that is perfect for owners and pets seeking a comfortable stay. My spacious house and a large fenced in back yard also provides enough room for your pet to freely roam when they want to. I’m retired and have an abundance of time to exclusively devote to your furry friend. Given I spend so much time doing chores around the house, they will be under constant supervision. My ample free time also allows me to spend outside time with them in the yard or play with them in the house. I care for pets with lots of attention and love. My main focus is to not interrupt their current routine given they will be in a new place. About: I have been an avid dog lover my entire life. I currently have a hound/pittie mix. They are my whole world. I have watched over dogs of varying age, breed, and size. You can rest assured that I will treat your baby like it was my baby. I’m also well versed in watching dog reactive pups. I work hybrid during the week- three days in office and two at home. I know how stressful it can be to leave your furry best friend behind. I specialize in making your dog's stay feel like a fun vacation rather than a stressful kennel experience. For stays longer than three days I prefer to bring my cavapoo Coco as long as the dogs are compatible. She is being trained as a service animal, so unless she is off the leash and outside, she is surprisingly laid back. Because we both work at home, we are always here. Your dog is never left alone. With your approval I may take them to the dog park to let them run - as long as that is something you enjoy with them. I live on a private road with only 3 other homes. There is almost no traffic so walking is relaxing and safe. Two of my neighbors have dogs, plus there are deer, armadillos, woodchucks, squirrels, chipmunks, and birds to entertain the sniffers and excite the barkers. My house is large and simply furnished with lots of spots for a nap and room for inside play when the weather is uninviting. I’m a Yale graduate with 30+ years working for Fortune 100 companies - I’m trustworthy and honest and you can depend on me to treat your home like mine (or better!) when I’m there.
