About: Hi, my name is Lindsey, and I can't wait to meet your pet! I've been around animals my entire life, from cats to dogs, and have provided excellent care to captive animals such as wolves, bobcats, and more. I have about two years of professional dog grooming experience. I have degrees in environmental science, and am currently a postdoc researcher at the University of Mississippi. I took a break from doing Rover during graduate school, so my profile has been largely inactive since ~2019, but now that I have a normal schedule again, I'm back at it! My work schedule is generally flexible, so I can work around it to fit the best possible care for your pet. There is a dog park at my apartment I love to use, and the rail trail here in Oxford backs right up to my complex making longer walks convenient. I know I want the absolute best care for my own dog, so I promise the best care for your pets as long as they are with me! My work schedule is generally 8:30 - 4:30, with at least one remote workday per week. Usually, I have one day per week that I do field work, which makes for a longer workday, but I always know in advance so I can plan accordingly. On a typical day, I walk my own dog from 7:00-7:30am, come home for a walk at lunch around 12:00pm, and do a longer walk around 5:00pm with a short bedtime potty break around 9:00pm (sometimes earlier or later depending on how late we're up!) As Aldo has gotten older, he generally prefers shorter walks/hikes, but I am always flexible to make the length and difficulty of walks match your pets' needs. Aldo is crate-trained, and I still have a spare large crate to use if needed. Safety is my biggest concern, especially because he will get into any crumbs or trash can if given the opportunity. I have a security cam set up in my home that I check remotely to make sure pets are doing well throughout the day. I do not have multiple pets out in the living areas together when unsupervised, unless they're very familiar with one another.

About: I’ve taken care of animals specifically dogs of all sizes ever since I was old enough to put food in a bowl. I’ve grown up around dogs of all sizes and my dog back home is my baby. I miss her everyday and I would love the opportunity to watch, care, and love on (if aloud) your fur baby for you. I’m currently a Senior at the University of Mississippi, but my classes are flexible, I also work part time but I am still home plenty to take care and love on your animal(s) I have no other animals in my home. I do not have a fenced in yard so they would have to be good on a leash. I have no problem walking dogs as many times as needed to go potty or just for daily walks. I do not believe an animal should be pent up in a crate so in my home your animal would have full access to walk around, but I can also easily crate your dog if preferred/needed!

About: I grew up constantly around cats and dogs. I remember getting in trouble as a kid because i would sit with my dog, Thor, inside the dog house my dad built for him. My moms best friend runs a shelter now but when I was little she was just known for having a lot of dogs and cats and i LOVED going to her house because I always wanted to hangout with her animals and she'd show me how she took care of specific animals that needed special care and I loved it. I also had a cat named Kitty and i would sit on the front porch and sing made up songs to him while he slept on my lap haha. Later on in life i got another cat named Blue and he was my baby. He slept on my chest every night. We woke up at the same time and went to sleep at the same time, sadly life happened and i had to rehome him but hes at a very sweet family's house and i still get to see pictures of him every once in a while. Currently I have a sweet american staffie mix, his name is Macho Man Randy Savage (Randy for short) a sweet mom and daughter were rehoming him on Facebook and I just so happened to find him and he is my best friend. He is seriously just a ball of love. He loves everyone he meets whether it's another dog or a human and while it's me and my fiance living together Im the main person that takes care of him and makes sure he potties and eats. So I have a lot of experience with pets. I just love animals. If I could have a bed full of cats and dogs that would be a dream but I'm only allowed one so I'd love to spend time with your sweet babies! I'm currently working part time at an office. Just wanna make sure I can pay my bills and what a great way to do that! I sadly do not have a fenced in yard so I take Randy on walks through the neighborhood next to ours cause he still gets all the sniffs and excitement and I don't have to worry about him running into the street and when the weather is nice he LOVES to go to the dog park and hes not very good at playing fetch but he loves playing "throw the ball over and over but I wont bring it back" haha and at least at the park I know hes safe in an enclosed space.

About: I personally have animals of my own specifically three dogs of different breeds and sizes that I take care of when i’m home. I have also volunteered my time at the oxford animals shelter and I have become accustomed to caring for cats and dogs of varying sizes, breeds, and needs. I am also able to administer medicine and give baths when needed. I do go to school at the university of mississippi so i have class through the week. However my classes don’t start till 1 pm and i usually finish around 5 pm. Outside of that my schedule is very flexible.
