Jennifer's experience with younger and larger dogs was clear at her meet 'n greet with Xena. This was Xena's first experience having anyone besides us come into our home to take her outside. She clearly had a good time! Jennifer gave us all a wonderful step toward a confident, competent, neighborly dog. We will definitely use her again!

About: I have cared for my dogs, cats, and horses since I was a little girl. My chihuahua was handicap for 15 years and I was her caretaker. I have always had a strong connection and love for all animals and enjoy spending time with them. I have also had experience taking care of neighbors dogs while they have been on trips. I’m reliable, caring, and always focused on making pets feel safe and loved in your absence. I’m currently attending Ole Miss and I am a Junior. I only have 1 in-person class on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This will leave plenty of free time to take care of your puppy or cat! I would make friends with your pet allowing them trust me and spend time playing and cuddling with them. I would respect your home and space while being with your baby! I will follow all instructions and aim to make your pet feel comfortable and maintain their normal routine.

About: I’ve been working with animals since I was little and have grown up on a farm around a wide range of animals. Living on a farm taught me responsibility, patience, and how to care for animals with different personalities and needs. I currently work at Pampered Paws and volunteer at animal shelters, giving me hands-on experience with both cats and dogs. I aspire to become a veterinarian, so I truly love every opportunity to care for animals. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. I am currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to take care of your fur babies. I also have a very flexible schedule so I am able to change things around to accommodate you. I also ensure that my calendar is up to date so I can be confident that I can give your dogs all the love and attention they deserve. In my clients’ homes, I always respect the routines, rules, and boundaries they set so their pets can stay comfortable in a familiar environment. I make sure to ask detailed questions about each pet’s schedule, behavior, preferences, and any special care needs so I can provide the best care possible. Safety and trust are very important to me, and I always treat both pets and homes with respect. In my own home, I follow the same approach by creating a safe, clean, and calm environment for every pet in my care. My goal is always to make pets feel comfortable, loved, and stress-free while their owners are away.

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life. Growing up I had three dogs, one being a labrador, a golden retriever and a plot hound for 16 years. My three dogs I had since they were puppies till they were seniors one was 21 years old. One was 11 and one was 16 when they passed. Now I have two pit terriers that I have had for three years now. I grew up, always taking care of them. And taking care of my friends and neighbors dogs all throughout the years if they went out of town on a vacation or if they were just gone for the weekend I would visit and take care of them for the time being. I have taken care of a bunch of cats as well, because my friends and family have many. I have a lot of experience with taking dogs on walks especially big dogs. My three dogs were almost all 70 to 80 pounds and I would take all three of them on walks at the same time. I really enjoy being around animals and being able to take care of them. As of right now I am not working so my schedule is very flexible and I can accommodate almost every day of the week. Time or day that you need depending on your schedule, just let me know and we can definitely work something out. Right now I do live at an apartment which does not allow animals. So the space is not animal friendly at the moment. But I am working on finding a more friendly space.

About: What sets me apart is the combination of hands-on daycare experience and genuine, day-to-day pet parenting. With almost three years of working at a doggie daycare, I’ve learned how to handle dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. I’m experienced in reading dog behavior, managing group play safely, and responding calmly and confidently in any situation. Pet care is a natural part of my everyday life. I’m used to following a consistent routine from working at a doggie daycare and caring for my own dogs. Each day typically starts with feeding, walks, and making sure the pets get some exercise. Throughout the day, I check in on them regularly, give them attention, and handle any special needs or medications. When caring for pets in my home, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and included in my daily routine. I provide a clean space, regular feeding times, plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and lots of affection. I monitor their behavior closely, keep them on a predictable schedule, and make sure they always have access to water, a cozy place to rest, and supervised playtime. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as familiar as possible. I follow the feeding schedule you provide, handle any medications, take them on walks or give them playtime, and make sure they feel calm and secure while you’re away. I also keep your home tidy, send updates, and make sure your pet feels cared for in the environment they’re most comfortable in. No matter the location, my goal is to give pets consistent attention, structure, and love just like I do with my own.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was little — both big and small breeds. Caring for pets has always been second nature to me, and I make sure every dog feels loved, safe, and happy. From daily walks to playtime and snuggles, I treat every pup like part of the family I have class Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings from 11-12:15 but I’m free most other times for walks, drop-ins, or playtime! I’m super flexible with afternoons, evenings, and usually weekends. I don’t have a fenced yard, but I make up for it with plenty of walks and outdoor playtime. I have a small yard for quick potty breaks and always make sure pups are safe, leashed, and cared for like my own.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 155 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Cornish. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Cornish. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Cornish.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
