About: I have been caring for pets since I was a child. I’ve had dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, and hamsters. I’ve also been involved in wildlife rehab rehabilitation. I am also a disaster service worker doing animal rescue during fires. I’ve always had pets in my home but recently lost my cat this year and my dog last year. I’m taking a break from having pets right now as the loss is still too new. Taking care of other people’s pets gives me a chance to have my animal fix :) I am currently retired so I have a lot of time on my hands. I love all types of animals and would love to fill my days with meeting new ones. I have a fully fenced yard, Dog doors. I’m a retired state employee with 30+ years of of work experience. I’m very reliable and trustworthy.

About: Animals have been part of my life since childhood—I've cared for both dogs, cats, and everything in between, learning to understand their unique personalities and needs. I have experience administering medications, including pills and even insulin shots for a diabetic cat. For the past five years, I’ve volunteered with the North Valley Animal Disaster Group, helping evacuate and care for animals during emergencies. That work taught me how to stay calm under pressure and provide comfort to pets in stressful situations. Whether your pet needs playful attention or gentle medical care, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I work from home on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays, which means I’m available during the day to give your pet plenty of attention—whether that’s walks, playtime, feedings, or just keeping them company. On Wednesdays and Thursdays, I work in the office but still offer evening, and overnight care as needed. I am available most weekends unless I am out of town or have an event planned ahead of time. I’m committed to keeping your pets safe, loved, and comfortable every day, and I’m happy to accommodate your pet’s routine as closely as possible. When caring for your pets in your home, I will follow their usual routine as closely as possible—from feeding and walking schedules to their favorite spots to nap or play. I give lots of affection and attention, and I always keep their space tidy, respecting the home and making sure their comfort comes first. If they need medications or special care, I’m confident and gentle, making sure they feel safe every step of the way. I also send regular updates with photos, so you can relax knowing your furry friend is happy and well cared for.

About: Hi there! I’ve been taking care of my family dog for over 10 years and my cat who has been part of the crew for the past 5 years. I’ve also had some experience with fish and even snakes in my household, so I’m comfortable with pets of all kinds. As an avid runner, I love staying active and enjoy keeping pace with dogs of all sizes, whether it’s a relaxed walk or an energetic run. I have a flexible, hybrid work schedule, which makes it easy for me to fit in pet-sitting and adjust to you and your pet’s needs. I’ll treat your pet and your home with the same care and respect I would my own. I’m great at following instructions and will always keep you updated during my visits so you can have a peace of mind.

About: I've had dogs and cats my entire life. Growing up on a farm in Oregon my family bred, and I showed, Newfoundlands so my experience with pets is pretty vast. I'm newly retired from my job as a magazine publisher, I have a super flexible schedule. I love animals and have often needed pet sitters so I know it can be a challenge to find someone trustworthy. Since I coached (Track) for 30+ years I've been background checked, fingerprinted and bonded by several institutions including USATF and the Folsom-Cordova School District. I am First Aid and Safe Sport compliant. I prefer to watch pets at a client's Folsom (or nearby) home as I have two dogs of my own to care for. If a dog is great with other dogs, they may be welcome to come to my house; I have a fully fenced backyard and would be present 100% of the time.

Amanda S.
“Amanda S. is the first and only person I think of when we need someone to care for our goofy Golden Retriever, Beau. She has proven herself to be trustworthy, reliable, and kind. I have complete peace of mind when we are away and she is in full charge of Beau. Even when we inadvertently throw curve balls at her like not giving her the right alarm code or moving the dog’s dish outside, she always handles the situation with ease and grace, and ALWAYS puts our dog first. I give Amanda my highest recommendation for dog care.”

“I’ve found Christopher to be an amazing dog sitter more than once now. He told me he grew up around dogs most all of his life & it shows. He did very well befriending our dogs (people too) & adapting to their mannerisms. He’s even watched our dogs for days when we were out of state, so we trust him not just with our canines but full access to our home.”

Alder Creek dog parents share their Rover experiences
Brianna was great with our 6 month old Labrador Retriever. Our pup connected with her quickly which gave us peace of mind that he will be well taken care of during the walk and playtime and indeed he was. We will definitely be repeat customers if Brianna continues to provide this service!

Levi has been amazing taking the time and effort to really get to know our special needs dog which has taken patience and understanding. Considering ourselves very lucky to have found such a great dog lover willing to build a relationship with our sweet boy so that we can feel confident when we go out of town (eventually).

Immense gratitude for Caitlin! A genuine superhero to us and our dog. While I’ve personally been on the mend health wise, Caitlin was there for us immediately to help walk Koda. Koda’s face after each walk was of pure happiness! Thank you so much, Caitlin! Everyone, please reach out to Caitlin for her professionalism and expertise! The absolute best!
