About: Lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for pets big and small—especially cats and dogs! From playful pups to shy kitties, I treat every pet like my own, with plenty of love, patience, and personalized care I work Mon-Thursday and typically am available after 3:30 on those days. I am free after 9am on Fridays and mostly open on the weekends! I understand most animals are creature of habit and will follow routines and needs as requested by their owners. My goal is to make both pets and parents feel more comfortable when they can't be together.

About: I am an absolute animal lover through and through. I was lucky enough to have grown up with an assortments of dogs, cats, rabbits, and other wonderful creatures and have been caring for animals my entire life. I have previously worked with horses at a retirement sanctuary, followed by caring for horses and children at a therapeutic riding facility. I spent several months in Namibia after college working hands-on with wildlife, ranging from cheetahs to baboons and everything in-between. Every animal and pet is different and requires patience and love in order to form a lasting bond. Your fur baby deserves nothing but the best and I am committed to making sure they (and you) feel comfortable with me. As is life, I've dealt with my fair share of heartache with my beloved animals. I've taken care of my dogs and cats through numerous surgeries, medications given at home for years on end, and watched carefully for any signs of distress or discomfort. I am comfortable giving medications as needed (as prescribed by your veterinarian). The culmination of my experiences have provided me the ability to care for a wide range of animals and their temperaments. Your animals comfort and safety is my highest priority and I will always treat them with the compassion (and energy) they need. My schedule during the week is extremely flexible and allows me the time needed to take care of your pets as needed and without rushing. I am here to work with you to meet your fur babies' needs! At the moment I do not offer pet care in my home, but this means your pet can stay in the comfort of their own home. I've found this provides a much more relaxed environment for your pet. As a homeowner, mother, and fur baby parent, I take great pride in my work and I will treat your pet and your home as my own and make sure everything is up to the highest standard.

About: Hi fellow animal-lovers! As a former social worker I have been caring for others most of my adult life. In keeping with that, I am excited to shift gears and fulfill my passion for caring for animals. I’m here to help, have fun, and provide top-notch care for your best bud! I am available Monday through Friday from the hours of about 8am to 4pm, with potential to provide pet care as needed beyond those hours once a strong relationship has been established. With a background in child development, I understand the importance of demonstrating patience and consistency in forming a bond your pet. About: I’ve had animals since I was 6. Growing up I had over twenty cats, numerous dogs, a horse, and of course a goldfish (fly high Goldie). While owning animals allowed me to learn the basics I’ve spent 10+ years volunteering in both RI and MA animal rescues to help animals in need. This has allowed me to meet an array of different species as well as personalities. It’s also taught me how to socialize feral cats, administer medication, CLEAN, and give lots of love. I have LOTS of free time!! I’m hoping to fill up my schedule with as many fur babies as possible! The more snuggles the better! Making your pet comfortable is always the goal and that process isn’t always smooth! That’s okay! I have time, treats, and more treats on my side. For social animals I am able to just do what makes them happy. Walks, play time, cuddles, etc. For the shy babies I know it’s not always a one visit solution and that’s okay! I’ve had the meanest feral cats you can imagine in my house who turn into the snuggliest love bugs with a little time, love, and stability. It takes time to build trust and I respect that

About: Hi, I'm Nikki! I'm new to Rover but I've helped care for animals for many years. I've worked for a dog walking company and it was one of the best jobs I've had in my life. Being out, exploring, and getting exercise was fun for both me and the dogs on my route. I'd give reports and take photos of all our outings. From there, I worked at an animal hospital assisting vet techs and doctors by walking, feeding and holding the animals for their treatments. I learned so much, especially about having patience and compassion for animals that are sick and scared. I gained a lot of knowledge about safe animal handling and body language. I've also completed Fear Free training! I have adopted a pretty quirky Beagle/Boston terrier mix about 10 yrs ago and he's kept me busy ever since. He's very smart and active. A lot of understanding and keeping him busy have helped him come such a long way. It's been so rewarding to see! Are you looking to get your pets out and about while you're at work? I'm available weekdays from the morning until early evening. I'm available for a Saturday morning stroll as well! I would care for your pet as you request. Whether it be a neighborhood walk, a fenced in yard, or a path nearby, I look forward to doing what your pet enjoys! I always have safety in mind, so your pet would always be under supervision and leashed in my care.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life, and trained several puppies. I also have years of volunteer experience, working with all sizes and breeds imaginable, including rescues with special care needs. I was a special buddy to more than one pup that didn’t really trust many people. I work close to full time, but have Mondays and Tuesdays off, and could do some early afternoons on other weekdays. I work every weekend. I am very respectful of the clients home, and will follow all care instructions provided. I will try to spend the time with the dog outside whenever possible, since it’s very beneficial for their well being to have some variety and fresh air!
