“We couldn’t be happier with the care Matt and Patty provided for our Golden Retriever during the 10 nights we were out of the country. From the very beginning, we felt completely comfortable leaving him in their care. We were able to visit their home beforehand, and they have a wonderful setup, including a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room for him to play. Throughout our trip, Matt and Patty sent us frequent updates and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. They took him on daily walks around the neighborhood, gave him lots of attention, and it was very clear that he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. What really stood out to us was how they handled a day when he wasn’t feeling well and developed some stomach issues. Matt immediately contacted us, proactively made an appointment with the vet, and made sure we were comfortable with him taking our dog in to be seen. Afterward, Matt and Patty followed the vet’s recommendations closely and even cooked rice and beef for his meals for several days while his stomach recovered. They truly cared for him as if he were their own. When we returned, we came home to a very happy puppy, and we could tell he had been loved and well cared for the entire time. We are so excited to have found Matt and Patty. Finding people you can completely trust with your dog while you’re away is incredibly important, and we feel very fortunate to have found such reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring sitters. About: I’ve had my own cats and dogs for about 20 years, ranging from babies until their final days. I walk my Belgian Malinois several miles daily and it’s typically the highlight of my day. Now that I’m self employed and have more time, I’d like to pursue my passion with furbabies. I’m self employed so my schedule is extremely flexible. I’d love to create a meaningful bond with a handful of pets/families. This is a passion project for me. I have a fully fenced yard and a dog-loving Belgian Malinois. About: I LOVE cats! Animals are great, but cats are the best! I spent a large portion of my volunteer time socializing feral cats, medicating them, trying not to get ringworm (success!!), cleaning them, and up after them. I have gained priceless knowledge from my experience with years of caring for cats. My three babies have also given me a deeper (and more expensive) experience on ownership. Two of my three cats require daily medication. This has helped me learn the ways to administer medication to nice and naughty cats. One of my cats developed pneumonia as a kitten and has had asthma/ chronic respiratory problems since. I’ve become vigilant in looking for signs of distress, discomfort, or unusual behaviors in cats as they are often silent sufferers. I have also become VERY adept at cleaning as my youngest cat requires multiple baths a day as a kitten (so did his litter box). I am able to help with daily grooming for longer hair cats to keep their hair mat free and lush. With permission (from the cat) I can also help clip nails! Most importantly I can give lots of love, snuggles, and kisses!!

About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

About: Recently laid off from the Federal govt due to widespread cuts, I have all the time in the world to walk & care for your dog! Walks can 20 minutes long, 30 minutes, an hour or a run, just let me know! Thank you I work from home and take my dog for 30 minutes walks every 4 hours. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and grew up with my first dog, a Pit Bull and Chocolate Lab mix, who was with me from birth until I was 16. I helped care for her throughout her life and developed a really special bond with her. I also have a new dog who is mostly Pit Bull, and I take care of him regularly. I’ve also cared for friends dogs and currently walk a Golden Retriever multiple times a week throughout the summer. I’m comfortable with different personalities and love building a genuine connection with every dog I meet. I’m currently a student but have a pretty flexible schedule where I have much free time during the week and full availability on the weekends. I want every pet to feel safe and comfortable while they’re in my care. I follow each owner’s instructions and keep their normal routine as much as possible. I’m very attentive and make sure pets get the care, attention and love they need. I also treat every client’s home with the same respect I would want for my own.

About: I have cared for all varieties of domesticated animals since I was a young child. I am glad to watch all variety of pets. Can’t wait to meet yours! I work In a residential program for young mothers. Outside of that I love to be outside and enjoy most outdoor activities. I’m also very energetic and ready to play with as many animals as I can. I care for pets in my home. I will also do visits for cats who are shy about coming out, as well as pets in large enclosures which are difficult to move. I also provide foster care for homeless dogs through 2 programs here in RI. It’s a passion of mine.
About: I’ve cared for about 8 dogs in my life. I currently own two and all of them have been like my best friends. I also used to volunteer at a pitbull rescue for a year and a half while serving in the military. I also have a cat and have been cat sitting neighbors cats since I was 10. I am currently going to school at Rhode Island College working on my degree in Psychology and working a part time job but am always willing to make time for fur babies! I’m experienced in giving dogs medication if necessary and familiar with animals who have seizures. Most animals naturally gravitate towards me and have my whole life. I always carry dog treats with me and have so much love for all animals.
About: I have been taking care of pets since I was 13 years old. I would watch neighbors pets and friends/ family pets as well. I love hanging out with pets and playing with them. I love getting to know each dogs personality. I am currently in school and I have a part time job as of right now. I am flexible with schedules and able to work with you when it comes to scheduling. I would prefer a fenced in yard for the dog or dogs and i would take it on walks dog parks and play with them as much as possible.
About: ive taken care of cats and dogs for years now, I have 3 cats and a dog who i adore endlessly. my friends and family rely on me to walk bathe and feed their pets when they need it. I work PRN as a CNA, which will give me plenty of time to care for your furry friend and go on plenty of adventures! i have a fenced in yard with plenty of space, my house is spacious as well, so theres plenty of stretching room for your fur animal :).

“Devorat is a god send! Pepper and I are new to RI, therefore leaving her to spend the night with a new sitter made me uneasy. Given that this was her first night away from me in RI, Devorat went above and beyond to ensure that both Pepper and I were comfortable with her space by arranging a meeting prior to the booking. Devorat has a large space that includes an enclosed yard for active dogs. That is on top of the dog walks they did together. I appreciated that, as did Pepper. “We couldn’t be happier with the care Matt and Patty provided for our Golden Retriever during the 10 nights we were out of the country. From the very beginning, we felt completely comfortable leaving him in their care. We were able to visit their home beforehand, and they have a wonderful setup, including a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room for him to play. Throughout our trip, Matt and Patty sent us frequent updates and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. They took him on daily walks around the neighborhood, gave him lots of attention, and it was very clear that he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. What really stood out to us was how they handled a day when he wasn’t feeling well and developed some stomach issues. Matt immediately contacted us, proactively made an appointment with the vet, and made sure we were comfortable with him taking our dog in to be seen. Afterward, Matt and Patty followed the vet’s recommendations closely and even cooked rice and beef for his meals for several days while his stomach recovered. They truly cared for him as if he were their own. When we returned, we came home to a very happy puppy, and we could tell he had been loved and well cared for the entire time. We are so excited to have found Matt and Patty. Finding people you can completely trust with your dog while you’re away is incredibly important, and we feel very fortunate to have found such reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring sitters. We would absolutely recommend them and will not hesitate to have them care for our dog again!”
