“Our pups had a wonderful time with Leslie. I knew they would when we did a meet-n-greet. She is a loving dog person and they knew it right away. Her home is beautiful and accommodates dogs - lots of toys, blanket to snuggle in or rest next to Leslie on sofa. Backyard is big and fenced in - a doggies dream backyard. Leslie sent fun pictures and kept us up-to-date on their potty breaks. She walked the pups on a walking trails near her home which my dogs loved. Hopefully next time they will get to see the Canadian geese which visit the local pond regularly. We are so excited that Leslie has started Rover sitting — she is a gem and we are already signing up for another daycare sitting. 🙏🐾❤️”

About: I’ve taken care of pets my entire life. I am an animal lover through and through. Every pet that comes through my door is treated as if it were my own. I am a stay at home mom so I am home most of the day. I only leave twice for 1 hour each time to care for some other dogs during the work week. We do have a sweet beagle named Buddy and 2 cats. The cats mostly live in my daughter’s room so if your dog is not cat friendly it’s no problem! I am here to offer a loving home away from home for the fur babies in our community while their humans are away. My dog, Buddy, is NOT an alpha dog so he gets along with everyone he meets. I have 18 acres to take walks as well as a fenced in yard for free play. I realize that everyone's family is different to include animal care/behavior so I will respect any guidelines you'd like to keep in place with respects to how they are fed, where they sleep, whether they are permitted on furniture, etc.

About: I’ve spent my life around dogs, growing up with everything from high-energy labs and retrievers to spaniels and cats. This background has given me a natural understanding of dog body language and the ability to spot what a pet is communicating before a situation escalates. I prioritize respecting a dog’s space and individual quirks, but I’m also comfortable taking charge and using firm commands when a situation requires clear leadership. My goal is to provide a balanced environment where your dog feels understood but also follows the rules to stay safe and well-managed. While I currently do not have my own animals, I frequently care for my parents' dogs and cats in both house-sitting and walking. I currently work part-time at a few local wineries; most of their requirements fall on weekends so most of my time during the week is spent around the house. I also work as the editor of a podcast and I do almost all of that work from home, leaving me plenty of opportunity to spend time with your pets! I have a house with a large yard and live very close to the Greenway and other nice walking trails in Warrenton. I have a large car capable of transporting animals if, for example, they have a lot of energy and would enjoy a longer hike at Sky Meadow. I also have family in the Northern Neck with water access for any extended stays with dogs who love the water. I keep toys and treats with me to prevent boredom, and am a respectful house guest.

I can walk them, cuddle them and take care of them when you enjoy your vacation at peace. I work from home. So i can be with your fur ball at home. Monday to Friday. About: Grew up caring for, feeding, walking and bathing dogs! Currently raising a precious one year old golden old golden who can’t wait to make a friend to two! I’m working solely from home, my job is task based so i find myself having a lot of free time. Available for most services daily. I am able to crate your puppy for their safety if leaving to run errands, the crate can fit any size dog up to extra large! We keep our home very clean & free of anything your dog can chew on! Currently working full time from home, so maverick and I have lots of time for play. He loves to wake up early and go for a walk before it gets too hot. I have a fenced in back yard but typically I walk my golden, Maverick for both of us to get moving during the day, since we both are inside most of the day.
