“Skia who doesn't like to stay away from us and with other humans and dogs in our absence, loves to hangout with Mark and she is super happy to be with him and his dog (like a second home). Mark takes great care of the dogs and even feeds them when he feels they are hungry without a second thought. Great experience sending our pup to Mark's place !”
2. Gabriela J.
“My dog Harley is the sweetest dog ever to me but she has problems with strangers and always barks at them and takes a while to warm up. When Gabriella walked in Harley went right up to her as if she had known her for years. I was shocked. My other dog Whiskey is very timid and scared (especially for a Doberman) and usually hides from new people. But as soon as Gabriella sat down Whiskey went right over and sat next to her and asked for some ear rubs. We all often hear that dogs know when someone is king hearted and Gabriella is a saint. My dogs loved her and she did a great job caring for them and taking them for walks regularly. I think they were even a little sad when I got home. 10/10 would recommend Gabriella to watch your furry family members.”
3. Giulia G.

5. Genoveva & Fabian Z.
“Always grateful she has room for my dog. I know he will be in a safe environment.”
6. Adriana K.
“Leaving Joshua with Adriana readily put me at ease. Joshua is a sweet boy but we were worried how he would adjust, since he has dementia and familiar things are most comforting to him. He looked happy from the beginning, and I think he wanted to stay when I came to pick him up. I’m really happy to find some reliable help with taking care of him!”
7. Lauren S.

10. Diego V.
“Absolutely thrilled with the exceptional care Diego provided for our dog, Cricket! From the moment we met him, it was clear Diego is knowledgeable and experienced with dogs. His patience and helpfulness were evident as he offered us invaluable advice that greatly improved our understanding of Cricket's needs. Diego took amazing care of Cricket, going above and beyond by sending us a ton of adorable photos and detailed notes that were incredibly helpful. Knowing Cricket was in such capable hands allowed us to relax and enjoy our time away. We couldn't recommend Diego more highly for anyone in need of a trustworthy and dedicated dog sitter!”

If you have any questions, please ask me :) Can’t wait to meet you. I work 10-5, but I work from home. Visits before and after are easy when in Elgin or nearby. About: I’ve been around animals my entire life! I raise, train & compete with my field bred golden retrievers and often help friends & family with their dogs. I’m a CGC & STAR puppy evaluator and an AKC Breeder of Merit. Dogs are my life and I truly can’t imagine life without them! My entire life is devoted to dogs! I offer boarding & training services in addition to raising, training & competing with my personal dogs. I have no life outside of the dog world lol! I have 30 dog-friendly acres in a private setting. Many fenced areas for the dogs to play & explore. Many of my dogs are loose in my home and have access to a yard via a doggie door. I also have indoor/outdoor private runs (climate-controlled) for the dogs who prefer their own space. I also have crate-training space available for pups who are currently crate-trained. I have a very good relationship with my vet who practices just a few minutes from me for the unlikely instances that medical attention is needed.

About: I grew up with pets and they’ve always been part of my life. I’ve had hamsters, mice, chickens, bunnies, ducks, birds, fish, turtles, guinea pigs and of course dogs and cats. I’m definitely a dog lover, and as an adult I have gained plenty of experience pet sitting and caring for dogs, specially small breeds. I cared for my older baby (Shih-Tzu) with medical needs for many years, and in the process learned a lot about dog care and how to tell when they aren’t feeling well or something is going on. I’ve cared for dogs of friends and family who have full confidence and trust that their babies will be loved, taken care of and even spoiled when they’re under my watch. I’m currently in the process of changing career paths, and have flexibility to do boarding, drop-in visits and house sitting on most weekends and potentially some week days. The house will be dog proofed. I’m aware of things dogs can eat that will make them sick or could be damaging for their health, so those foods/items will be unreachable for dogs. They will have a good sized backyard to go out for potty breaks and play. My community has very nice and safe walking trails for dogs that need walks. If/as requested dogs can be crated but they won’t be crated otherwise. I love cuddling with my dogs so I allow them on the bed and occasionally on living room furniture. They sleep on my bed unless requested to sleep in their own bed.
