About: I’ve cared for, and have had dogs since I was a child, which has since grown into a huge love and passion for every canine! I’ve had multiple breeds and ages ranging from pups to seniors. I work full time however our home schedule can be flexible! I do have the ability to work from home at times. Our animals receive abundant amounts of attention and 1:1 time with countless hours of outside play! We have 3 older children that will help fulfill any high energy needs or give unending snuggles 💗 I have a fenced yard and 3 small dogs of my own to keep your baby company! I have a room for crates to keep your pup at nights or if we have to run errands so your pup and ours is safe! We have a basket of toys for entertainment.
“We had the BEST experience with Daniela and her family! 🥰 She sent us plenty of photos and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind. We really appreciated the friendly vibes, great communication, and most of all, how loved and well cared for our baby was. ❤️ Definitely the best experience we’ve had on Rover! We would absolutely book with Daniela again! 🐾✨”

“Hope provides A+++ service, care and compassion for my big guy Ghost a 115lb 2.5 year-old German Shepard/Husky mix. As my regularly scheduled doggy daycare sitter, I would describe Hope as incredibly caring, attentive, responsive, and fair. She makes me as a dog owner as well as my dog Ghost incredibly comfortable. Since attending regularly scheduled doggy daycare with her on the days I work my shifts (I’m nurse, RN), Ghost’s overall state of mind and resulting behavior has dramatically improved overall. When he comes home after his stay with Hope, he is dramatically more calm, content and relaxed. Improvements in behavior, mood, and overall well-being which I attribute to the care Hope provides for my dog. All in all, I can’t be more thankful to have found Hope to take care of my dog and best friend.”

“I wanted to wait to review after a few visits with Gracie, but she is great with my puppy! She always greets her with excited energy! You can really tell she loves dogs! I most importantly love how great she’s been with my last minute requests! She’s amazingly helpful! Thank you!! Will be requesting Gracie from now on!”

About: Hi, My name is Mia. I have about ten years of experience working with animals from animal shelters to vet clinics. I have experience fostering over fifty pets, including bottle babies and pets with special needs. I currently work as a legal assistant. M-F 10:00-5:00. PLEASE ENSURE YOU BOOK WITH ENOUGH TIME FOR A MEET & GREET TO BE SCHEDULED PRIOR TO MY FIRST VISIT. This is for my safety and the safety of your pets. I am always open to negotiation, but please keep in mind this helps pay my bills. I do have my own dog, but if your dog needs to stay overnight in my home, they will be kept separate. I am very responsible and would love to meet you and your fur babies. If you have any questions, please ask me :) Can’t wait to meet you. I work 10-5, but I work from home. Visits before and after are easy when in Elgin or nearby. If I pet sit at home, I will keep separate from my pet. It depends on what is needed, per the pets needs. I am happy to stop by, clean up, let them out and feed during visits.
“This was my pups first Rover experience and Amber was so great at making me feel comfortable. She sent me photos throughout the day and gave me updates. My pup was well cared for and had lots of fun!”

“Jax seemed to have had a fun time spending the day with Jordan and her pets. Jordan was great at sending me updates and pictures. Jax will be staying a few days with Jordan in the near future so it was great for them to spend a full day together getting to know each other.”

About: I've taken care of many animals in the course of years. From guinea pigs to cats and dogs to fishes and farm animals. I love animals and love learning about them. I work a flex schedule at a warehouse where I can plan my own schedule, rest assured I can work around different schedules to make sure to take care of the pets and have them as higher priority I have many pets at home. I have cats, dogs and chickens. If your pet isn't keen to being around other animals I will keep them indoors with me and take them out on a leash for the bathroom or to walk around away from the other animals. Your pets are the priority, I can care for them from early in the morning to late in the day and do overnight stays
About: I have my own dog Zoe who I currently care for. She was potty trained, crate trained, and house trained starting at 8 weeks. I’m free all day for your pets needs. I have open availability through the week. I’m free to care for and entertain your pet through out the day. My dog Zoe would love to have a play date with your dog. I have a fenced in yard and a big neighborhood that will allow your dog to get fresh air and nice walks. My neighborhood dog park is also just right down the street from my house. I have a medium sized crate that is available for your pets use while staying.
“Brittan was an amazing dog sitter and took very good care of our dog. She was kind and friendly and seemed to enjoy her job. She did well giving a recap of their day. I would definitely use her again if we are in the area.”

About: Hi there! I’m a Minnesota born, Bastrop-based dog lover and I’m glad you’ve found my profile. I've been around dogs my entire life and believe a dog makes a house a home. My own fur baby, Milou, is a 5 year old lab mix who loves other dogs and people. He will gladly accept a pal to join us on walks, or chase around the backyard. I have 5+ years experience volunteering with various animal shelters and a plethora of nights & weekends spent house/dog sitting for friends and family. I love to explore new trails, parks, & hikes so your pup's stay will be an active one! I am also a runner and will gladly take your dog along to burn off some extra energy. I took a couple years off from Rover as my family relocated several times. Now that we are settled in the Austin area, I am ready to get back to dog sitting/walking/boarding, and hope to meet you soon! I work from home so I am around to provide company, potty breaks, and perhaps even a lunchtime trip to the dog park! Canine coworkers are my favorite. I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of space to roam safely. My dog loves hanging out back there and would enjoy a teammate to help him put the neighborhood squirrels in their place ;)
“I left my Australian Shepard with Isabelle for daycare for two days, as I was dropping him off for the second day he was so excited to see Isabelle which I knew it meant he was in good hands. Isabelle was always responsive and gave me updates while he was with her. She also took him along for their daily walk which I appreciated. Thank you again Isabelle!”

About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs through both owning my own dogs and providing boarding for other families’ pets. Caring for dogs has been a meaningful part of my life, and I truly enjoy getting to know each dog’s unique personality. I have experience with dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and energy levels. I’m comfortable with feeding, daily walks, playtime, crate routines, basic grooming, administering oral medication, and caring for senior dogs who need extra patience and attention. Because I care for only one to three dogs at a time, I can provide personalized attention in a calm, low-stress environment. My home has a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely play, exercise, and relax under close supervision. I understand that every owner wants to know their pet is happy and safe. That’s why I provide regular photo and video updates throughout each stay and follow each dog’s routine as closely as possible to help them feel at home. My goal is to give every dog a safe, loving, and comfortable experience while giving their family complete peace of mind. Welcome! I’m a dedicated dog lover who provides a safe, comfortable, and loving home where your dog will be treated like family. I live in a single-family home with a fully fenced backyard, giving dogs plenty of room to play, explore, and enjoy fresh air in a secure environment. Because I spend most of my time at home, your dog will receive lots of attention, supervision, companionship, and affection throughout the day. I intentionally accept only one to three dogs at a time so every guest receives personalized care instead of being part of a large group. I understand that every dog has different needs. My goal is to make your dog feel relaxed, happy, and loved while you’re away. You’ll never have to wonder how your dog is doing. I’ll send multiple photo and video updates every day so you can enjoy your trip with complete peace of mind, knowing your best friend is having a wonderful time. For your convenience, I also offer pick-up and drop-off services. I speak both English and Mandarin Chinese, making communication easy for both English-speaking and Chinese-speaking families. Your dog’s safety always comes first. I provide a clean, calm, smoke-free, pet-friendly home where every dog is cared for with patience, kindness, and respect. I truly enjoy building trust with both pets and their families, and I look forward to welcoming your furry friend into my home. Thank you for considering me. I can’t wait to meet you and your beloved companion! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my highest priorities. I live in a clean, smoke-free single-family home with a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely play under my supervision. I never leave dogs unattended outside, and I make sure they have a secure, comfortable indoor space to rest and relax. I only accept a small number of dogs at a time so I can provide each pet with plenty of individual attention and closely monitor their behavior. I carefully follow each owner’s feeding schedule, exercise routine, medication instructions, and any special care requests to help pets feel comfortable and maintain their normal routine. Before introducing dogs to one another, I consider their personalities and comfort levels to ensure a safe and positive experience. If needed, I can keep dogs separated to reduce stress and provide one-on-one care. Throughout your pet’s stay, I’ll send regular photo and video updates so you always know how they’re doing. If I notice any changes in your pet’s behavior or health, I’ll contact you immediately and follow your instructions. If an emergency ever occurs, I will seek veterinary care right away and keep you informed every step of the way. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, low-stress environment where every pet feels at home and every owner feels confident and reassured.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Fedor commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
Yes, you can find sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. Many sitters can respond to messages in under an hour.
To find the fastest available match, message multiple sitters with a recent "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
