“Elise did a fantastic job watching our elderly, very particular dog. He normally is very scared of strangers, and will sometimes not go outside for walks with sitters. Elise did a great job of gaining his trust and getting him out! She was very accommodating, and on time.”

“Olivia was amazing. She really came through at short notice and was super great with the cats. I could tell they were all happy, relaxed and comfortable when my roommate and I came back home. This was our first time using Rover and a huge relief to know someone was checking in on the kitties.”

About: I have been watching sweet fur babies since I was in grade school. I have been responsible for feeding, walking, cleaning up after, and giving lots of attention to my customer’s furry friends. I promise to treat your fur baby like my own and I can’t wait to meet you! I work part time so I can walk and care for your pets regularly, giving them all of the attention they need in the morning, midday, and night. I am very detail oriented so I will be able to give your pet quality care as well as ensure they are safe in their environment. I have my own dog and want to treat every pet the way I would want others to treat my Daisy Duke.

“Very punctual, attentive, kind, all the things. Because one of our three cats was undergoing a diet trial, the usual to-do list for our weekend away was a bit more complicated than average. She handled it just fine, no problems, and took some lovely pics to boot.”

“Dina did a fantastic job taking care of our cat. She was very responsive and a great communicator. We felt confident our cat was in good hands and reassured by the detailed notes/photos provided.”

About: I’m a born animal lover, and I find joy in spending time with dogs: A man’s best friend. I trained my dog to when I first got her 5 years ago as a puppy, and I continue to do so as she ages. I am able to take care of your pets on fridays and over the weekend! I’m a college student, so I try to be as flexible as possible. I’m living in an apartment with two roommates, so I won’t be able to board your furry friends, but I am more than happy to keep them company at your house!

About: With years of hands-on experience in veterinary medicine and volunteering at the YCAS shelter in Woodland, I offer a level of knowledge and calm that goes beyond basic pet sitting. I’ve worked with puppies, seniors, and dog-reactive pets. I tailor my care to each animal’s unique personality and needs, whether that’s energetic play, gentle walks, or giving medication. Your pet will be treated like my own. Pet care is my top priority right now, and my schedule is wide open! I’m currently extremely flexible for drop in visits or walks throughout the day. I love making sure pets get consistent care and attention, no matter how busy your routine may be. I treat your home and your pets with total respect and care. During walks and drop-in visits, I always keep your pet’s safety and happiness first by using positive reinforcement, keeping a close eye on surroundings, and following your care instructions exactly. I’ll send updates, photos, and videos so you never have to wonder how your furry friend is doing. My approach is gentle, responsible, and tailored to each animal’s comfort level.

“Jessica is truly one of the nicest people I have met and my kitty loved her and the care she gave. She addresses every question thoroughly and is great with accommodations. I highly recommend her!”

She kept me updated with regular messages and adorable pictures, which helped ease my mind while I was away. I could tell Mochi was in great hands. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter! :))”

About: What sets me apart is my lifelong love for animals and the years of hands-on experience I’ve had caring for them. I grew up in a pet-loving household where caring for dogs (and other animals!) was part of daily life—from energetic puppies to aging senior dogs who needed extra patience and care. I’m attentive, calm under pressure, and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs of all temperaments. Whether your pup needs long walks, medication, or just some belly rubs and companionship, I bring both knowledge and heart to the job. I treat every dog as if they’re my own and take the time to understand their unique needs and personalities. Your dog’s comfort, safety, and happiness are my top priorities—and I’ll always keep you updated with photos, messages, and peace of mind while you’re away! I currently have a flexible, remote position, and am happy to work around the schedule of others! Let me know what your pets' needs are, and I am sure I can work it into my schedule :) My top priority is making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved—whether they’re in my home or I’m in theirs. I adapt my care based on each pet’s unique personality, routine, and needs. In a client’s home, I do my best to maintain the pet’s normal routine and environment. I follow all instructions closely—from feeding schedules and walk times to special care like medications or crate training. I know how important consistency is, and I aim to make your pet feel like I’m just part of the usual routine. I also make sure to keep the space clean and respectful—your home is treated with the same care I’d give my own. When caring for pets in my home, I create a calm, welcoming space that’s pet-friendly and safe. I ensure dogs have plenty of time for exercise, mental stimulation, and affection. I limit exposure to unfamiliar pets and follow any special requirements—whether that’s slow introductions, quiet spaces for anxious pups, or keeping to a strict medication schedule. Above all, I give pets the individual attention they deserve and keep you updated regularly with messages and photos so you feel confident they’re in good hands.

About: I grew up in multi dog homes with large and small breeds (a Lab, a Weimie, a GSP, and 2 frenchies). I have PLENTY of experience walking, feeding, playing, cleaning up after, and interpreting body language of dogs. I’ve taken care of dogs in every life stage including puppies and seniors. Having a dog of my own hasn’t been feasible since moving to Davis for various reasons but I miss having furry companions! I’ve been getting my fix by walking and sitting for my friends and coworkers as well as volunteering with the “Barks and Rec” program at the Bradshaw Animal Shelter. An awesome program where shelter dogs get some much needed time out of the shelter and in front of potential adopters. The German Shepherd (named Dexter) in my profile picture was my last dog through the program and we had a lovely time walking along the American River. I work full time, regular hours (typically 9am-4:30pm) as a researcher in the agricultural biotech space. On weekdays, I’d be available for drop in visits/walks in the morning before work and in the afternoons after work. If necessary, a lunchtime visit may be feasible. Weekends are very flexible! You know your pet best! I’m most comfortable following your tried and true routines and rules so you and your pup can feel comfortable and at ease knowing I’m caring for them exactly as you would.

About: I have taken care of animals all of my life! I am a proud owner of two guinea pigs and have 3 dogs back at home. I also have experience with cats. I am an Animal Science major at UC Davis, so I am very passionate about all kinds of animals! I am a student at UC Davis taking one Summer class this summer so my schedule is flexible. I am available every single weekday as well as weekends. You can count on me to take the best care of your fur babies and treat them like they were my own. I am very communicative, good with directions, and responsible. If needed, my house has a fenced backyard that is great for playtime needs!

Paige D.
“Paige has taken care of my 3, and at one point, 4, little dogs many times! She is great and very nurturing with animals. She pays attention to detail, is very responsible, and thorough in all that she does. She gets along great with my dogs, and they are always so excited when she comes over! One of our dogs has experienced seizures, and Paige was conscientious in taking extra care of that dog and gave us frequent updates while we were away to assure us that our special pup was doing alright!”

Emily K.

“Julie has the best interactions with dogs that I have ever seen! She has taken excellent care of my Bernese Mountain Dog many times and my dog absolutely loves her. Jessica A.

“Jessica is truly one of the nicest people I have met and my kitty loved her and the care she gave. She addresses every question thoroughly and is great with accommodations. I highly recommend her!”

Yanchang Z.
“Lily is a great pet sitter. My cat isn’t fond of most people and can be a bit aggressive biting and scratching when uncomfortable. Lily took the time to understand her and meet her where she was, becoming someone my cat genuinely trusts. She knows when to give her space, how to keep her happy, and in my opinion tends to spoil her a bit. She’s someone you can trust completely with your pets and someone they’ll probably come to adore. Hire her.”

Isabella P.

“Bella was a wonderful cat sitter! She was incredibly sweet and responsible while taking care of my cat, Mochi. She kept me updated with regular messages and adorable pictures, which helped ease my mind while I was away. I could tell Mochi was in great hands. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter! :))”

Rachel W.

“Rachel was great with our cats :) She is very knowledgeable about animals and was communicative throughout the weekend. Highly recommend booking Rachel!”

Alyssa K.

“Alyssa always takes great care of my pets. The dogs and cats love spending time with her and the photos she send of them playing and being happy are always great!”

Margaret W.
“Maggie is a kind, considerate, and caring pet lover! She is also very responsible and can be trusted to look after your home as well as your pet. She loves to be active outside and enjoys long dog walks but also loves to curl up on the couch with a snuggly dog and enjoy down time. I highly recommend Maggie as a pet sitter!”

Ashley B.
“Ashley was very patient and responsible with my active and anxious lab, Mangus. She is always punctual and has a positive attitude, and he loves going on long walks with her!”

Mia H.
“I’ve had the pleasure of trusting Mia H. to care for my three dogs, and I can honestly say she is one of the most loving, responsible, and attentive pet sitters I’ve ever met. Mia has a natural way with animals — she’s gentle, patient, and always attentive to their needs. My dogs absolutely adore her, and I always feel completely at ease knowing they’re in her caring hands. Mia goes above and beyond to ensure that my pets are happy, safe, and well-loved, and her excellent communication and reliability make her an outstanding choice for pet sitting or dog walking. She genuinely cares about animals and treats them like family. I can’t recommend her enough — any pet parent would be lucky to have her caring for their furry friends!”
