Not only was she conveniently located, but her glowing 5-star reviews made it clear she was special. Now, I understand why. Jessica was an outstanding communicator from the start; her joyful personality immediately put me at ease, making me feel like I’d known her forever. She took such loving care of our lab, going above and beyond in every way. After a muddy walk, she didn’t hesitate to wash his harness and clean him up thoroughly, leaving him as fresh as ever. She even made it over, when I told her she didn't have to, in horrible snowy weather to take care of our pup! To top it all off, she surprised us with special, freshly made delicious donuts—such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture! Even as I write this, I’m still so incredibly grateful that fate connected us with someone as kind and genuine as Jessica. She truly made our trip stress-free and more importantly, Denver, our dog VERY happy! Thank you, Jessica, for being such a kind, genuine, adorable person. About: I've been taking care of pets (cats, dogs, and rabbits) my entire life. One of my career highlights was working at the Philadelphia Zoo. Granted, I was working as a puppeteer, but I love being around animals every day. I currently have two beloved cats of my own, and I'm excited to meet your pets! I'm also a freelance puppeteer and writer - so when I'm between projects I have a very flexible schedule and will be happy to take care of your pets! Proud owner of 2 chihuahuas, but have previously owned big dogs too. Thanks for considering! I have lots of availability this summer being on summer break! I could give your dog a walk, or check in your cat. Mornings, afternoons, or evenings! I would defer to you as to what safety looks like (harness, leash, collar, etc). My two dogs have name tag collars, and leashes. I have walked dogs with harnesses as well. Sometimes I need a little instruction as to how to put it on (some designs are tricky!), but in the end I always figure it out!

About: I’ve been dog sitting since I was about 11 years old — it started with neighbors, family friends, and anyone who needed a hand, and it quickly became something I truly love. Being around dogs has always come naturally to me. I’m patient, calm, playful, and super intuitive with animals, especially dogs of all kinds. I treat every dog like they’re my own, and I make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy while their people are away. Over the years, I’ve built real trust with the people I’ve worked with. They know their dogs are in good hands with me — whether it’s for a quick walk or a whole weekend. I’ve looked after energetic puppies, shy rescues, older dogs needing meds, and everything in between. This isn’t just something I do — it’s something I genuinely care about. I currently go to barber school from 8:30-5 on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. If you need a little check in or letting your dog out after that on those days I would definitely do that! Other than that I am open 6-11pm on every other day unless I have something else going on. If you ever need to know just always reach out if needed! I live in an apartment complex but I usually let me dogs free inside and if they need it I usually bring them to the dog park to get all that playfulness out. I am very attentive so your dog will never be left alone! I have 2 dogs medium size and one likes to relax while the other loves to play but she knows her limits, if the other dog does not like it she does stop.

About: I am a very experienced pet owner in Montpelier - I have owned and loved alpacas, dogs, goats, cats, and backyard birds of all kinds. I have also done foster care of kittens and cats for CVHS. I'm available to provide a fun and loving spot to board your dogs. They will get attention, care, walks, and playtime with my 3 dogs. I have a crate if needed, can be one level if mobility is an issue, am willing to administer meds and have no problem with puppies or senior pets. I am home all afternoon and evening and weekends and dogs get a lunchtime walk as well. I am available for boarding all of the time, but only showed weekends because that’s when I am home all day and evening. During the week dogs would still get a morning and lunchtime walk and care all afternoon and evening. I will send updates and photos throughout your dogs time with us - I am also available to pick up and drop off dogs for an additional fee. I work in Montpelier until 3:00 pm so pets get exercise in the afternoons and weekends, and dogs get a lunchtime walk as well. I am around all of the time on weekends and school breaks and all summer. Our house has many dog beds, crates, toys and treats. We live on many acres and dogs can be on or off leash, depending on needs. I also take dogs to local trails to walk and socialize.
