About: My rates reflect the level of care and experience I provide. I’ve worked in both an animal hospital and a boarding facility, and I have over 10 years of hands on experience with dogs of all ages. I’m trained to administer medications (including injections) and I’m currently studying to become a veterinary technician. Your dog isn’t staying in a kennel they’re getting personalized attention in a safe home environment, along with knowledgeable care you won’t find in standard boarding. I’m also able to provide nail trims and ear cleanings for a small additional charge. My goal is to make sure your furbaby feels comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you’re away😊 Pet care blends naturally into my everyday life because I’m home all day with my baby. We spend most of our time in the living room or outside, so having dogs around just feels like adding more family to our routine. I’m able to give them plenty of attention, snuggles, potty breaks, and playtime throughout the day. Since I’m always home, I can really focus on making sure each pup feels safe, loved, and comfortable, just like they would with their own family! In my home, pets have plenty of space to relax and play. I have a fully fenced yard and a friendly, playful Labrador who loves having company. I also have a cat who thinks he’s a dog himself and adapts to other animals very fast! I focus on creating a calm, welcoming environment where each pet feels like part of the family. Dogs get regular potty breaks, playtime, and lots of attention throughout the day. I keep routines consistent so they feel secure, and I always monitor interactions to make sure every pet is happy and comfortable.
“I had never used Rover before, but I was so pleased with Dale! He sent me pictures of my puppy every day! He answered promptly when I would ask about her! He was all around the best dog sitter I have ever had. I would recommend Dale to anyone and everyone! I will definitely be asking Dale to watch Millie again!”

My 2 dogs are above the age of 8 & very experienced with other dogs. I can teach your dog the basic start up of sit, lay-down, stay, crate trained, and walking skills.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs for about 10 years now and have 4 dogs of my own! Love all animals and can also administer any medications your furry friend may need 🤍 Currently a SAHM so I have free time all the time and am very flexible with whatever hours you may or may not need! Available whenever and wherever I have a fenced in yard, 4 friendly dogs and a lot of toys and treats to spoil your loved ones! I treat every animal that comes into my home just like they’re my own 🤍
About: I've owned dogs my entire life - up to three at once. From puppies to their last moments 🫶🏻, I have experience with care at all stages of life. Currently have two labs (5 and 7, male and female) who are friendly with other dogs. I work from home and we have a fenced yard. I work full time from home and am here all day for their care/entertainment. We have a good sized fenced yard for play and lots of toys to play with. We have a large shaded grassy back yard as well as two large indoor kennels and two large soft travel kennels if your pup finds comfort in a kennel. Our five year old golden lab loves to play with everyone. Our seven year old black lab is laid back and chill. My dogs spend the day as my office buddies and prefer their kennels at night, but our visitors can roam free at night if not crate trained.
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We can’t say enough good things about Alexis! My husband works out of town, and since we’re brand new to the area, it can be hard to trust someone with our puppy. But Alexis immediately made us feel so comfortable and confident in our decision. She treated our dog with so much love and care, just like her own. We could tell he was happy, well looked after, and truly enjoyed his time with her. We’re so thankful for the peace of mind she gave us — highly recommend Alexis to anyone looking for a trustworthy, kind, and caring sitter!”

About: I’ve been petsitting for my friends and neighbours since I was 12, including administering medication, cleaning messes, housekeeping, and most all other common tasks and chores. If there’s a task you need of me that I don’t have experience in, I’d be glad to learn. As of right now I’m still in school, but after graduation (end of May, roughly) I’ll be available nearly 24/7. It’ll be ideal for me not to be scheduled for boarding on Fridays, but I will, of course, if your schedule calls for it! I absolutely value the trust of my clients and the safety of their pets, and will always do everything I can for them to feel they can leave their home and the pets inside it safe and secure with me.

About: Hello! My name is Jira. I do my best to give pets the best care and experience I can provide. I value safety, enrichment, exercise and most of all, fun! I employ what I describe as the perfect balance of a dog being in a home setting it's used to while also having the security on the individual dog level of a kennel boarding facility. I have been with pets all throught our lives. I can administer oral medications if it’s needed and will be willing to give baths if asked. I would love to walk your fur baby and shower them with love. I treat the clients pet like they are my own. Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
