“Evgenii was amazing! Our older two dogs were well cared for. We received pics and updates which made us happy! Our house was spotless when we returned! Couldn’t have chosen a better dog sitter. Highly recommend him and will be using him again!”

About: I’ve loved animals since I was a child, so working with animals, even if it’s just the simple things like; going on walks, making sure they’re fed, clean, playing with them, making sure they’re safe and loved. Overall I’m a super sweet person. Animals have a special place in my heart. Anyone who knows me knows, I’m always trying to find some pet to give lovings to. I’ve been dog walking and pet sitting since I was a little kid. It’s just so much fun to me. Since I’m really shy, I am the person you will find petting the dogs while there’s a party going on. I currently have no pets but, this is my job, it's not too consistent but I absolutely love animals and taking care of them. I've been doing Rover since 2019 and I would love to make this full time I want your fur babies to feel as comfy and happy as possible at all times. Play time and outside time is an absolute must!
“Vanessa, thank you so, so much for taking great care of our pup. This was our first long time away from him and we’re as happy to see him as he is to see us. Thanks for all the great communication along the way.”

“Cordelia was absolutely amazing with Gracie! She was incredibly attentive, followed all of our instructions to a tee, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. She consistently checked in and sent photos, which we really appreciated—it was such a comfort to see Gracie happy and relaxed. It was clear she was well cared for and truly loved. We’d gladly book with Cordelia again—highly recommend!”

“Excellent pet sitter. Very reliable, conscientious, caring and trustworthy. She kept us abreast of how our fur babies were doing each day and so pleasant to work with. I highly recommend her. Judy C.”
“Katalina took such great care of my puppy for the weekend which was also last minute. She kept me updated and sent pictures allowing me to have a worry free weekend. I came home to a clean house and a happy dog. Highly recommend!!”

“This was my first time using Rover, and let me just say Kortni took away all of the worries and anxiety that I had. She is truly one of a kind. She sent pictures and updates throughout the entire trip. You can see the love she has for pets! I would highly recommend her to anyone! She’s the best!”

“We loved having Brittany over to watch Byron - he’s a Rhodesian Ridgeback - she was timely, provided constant updates through the whole time and sent pics over which was reassuring to us . We would most certainly recommend her for house/ dog sitting. Thank you so much for being there for us ;-)”

“Kimberly did a wonderful job of watching my 2 dogs and cat in our home when we went away last weekend. My 2 chihuahuas instantly liked her which is not always the case. She is very reliable and left the house just as we left it. I would definitely recommend her and hope to use her next time we go away. Thanks Kimberly!”

About: Hi, I'm Ashlee! 🐾 Thank you for stopping by my profile! I know choosing someone to care for your pet is a big decision because they're so much more than "just a dog", they're family. My goal is to make sure both you and your pet feel comfortable, confident, and cared for every step of the way. I offer: 🐶 Dog boarding 🏡 House sitting 🚶 Dog walking 🦴 Drop-in visits Whether your pup loves long walks, playtime, belly rubs, sticking to a routine, or simply relaxing on the couch, I'll tailor my care to their individual personality and needs. I share my home with my Mini Bernedoodle, Finnley, who has taught me just how unique every dog can be. Caring for him has shown me the importance of patience, consistency, positive reinforcement, and paying attention to the little things that help a dog feel safe and at home. I'm also comfortable with: 💊 Administering oral medications 🐾 Caring for puppies, adult dogs, and seniors ❤️ Providing individualized care based on your pet's routine and needs Communication is one of my top priorities. You'll receive regular photo and video updates throughout your booking, along with prompt responses if you ever want to check in. I want you to have complete peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for. Whether your pet is staying overnight, going for a walk, or just needs a drop-in visit while you're at work, I'll treat them with the same love, patience, and attention I'd want someone to give Finnley. I'd love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family member! If you have any questions or would like to schedule a meet and greet, don't hesitate to reach out. I can't wait to meet you both 🐶❤️ Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine because I have my own Mini Bernedoodle, Finnley! My schedule naturally revolves around walks, feeding times, playtime, enrichment, and making sure he gets plenty of attention throughout the day. When caring for your pet, I make it a priority to maintain their normal routine as closely as possible. Whether that means sticking to a specific feeding schedule, providing regular potty breaks, going on walks, or simply spending quality time together, I'll make sure they receive the care and attention they deserve. I carefully plan my schedule around the pets I'm caring for and always make their safety, comfort, and well-being my top priority. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you're away. Your pet's safety, happiness, and comfort are my top priorities. I believe the best care starts with getting to know each pet as an individual, so I take the time to learn their routine, personality, favorite activities, and any special instructions you provide. My goal is to make their time with me feel as familiar and stress-free as possible. Whether I'm caring for your pet in my home or yours, I'll follow their normal routine closely, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and plenty of love and attention. I use positive reinforcement, patience, and gentle handling to help pets feel comfortable and build trust. I treat every home with the same respect and care that I would my own, keeping everything clean, secure, and just as you left it. I also know how important communication is, so you can expect regular photo and video updates throughout your pet's stay, along with prompt responses if you have any questions or would like to check in. Whenever possible, I like to schedule a complimentary meet and greet before a first booking. It's a great opportunity for us to get to know each other, discuss your pet's routine and needs, and make sure everyone feels comfortable before their stay. My goal is for you to return home to a happy, relaxed pet and to feel completely confident that they were cared for like family.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Aberdeen Township
We recently had Nora stay over for our 2 dogs, Honey and Louise. She came and met us and the dogs beforehand. What a sweet young lady and our dogs warmed up to her immediately. She sent updates and pictures throughout. Honey is a nervous nelly and I was so relieved to see her sleeping on the bed with Nora, quite content. She left the place spotless. I can't say enough good things about Nora. She is the best!! <3

Brittany was awesome with our two dogs! She stayed overnight and took such great care of them. They were happy, relaxed, and clearly comfortable with her. She kept us updated and made being away so much less stressful. We came home to two very well-loved pups and everything in great shape. We’d absolutely book Brittany again and highly recommend her! 🐶🐶

Cordelia was absolutely amazing with Gracie! She was incredibly attentive, followed all of our instructions to a tee, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. She consistently checked in and sent photos, which we really appreciated—it was such a comfort to see Gracie happy and relaxed. It was clear she was well cared for and truly loved. We’d gladly book with Cordelia again—highly recommend!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Aberdeen Township on Rover is $71.86 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of July 2026, there are 16,764 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Aberdeen Township. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Aberdeen Township walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Aberdeen Township maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Aberdeen Township choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
