About: I have had dogs my entire life, and taken care of them in full for my family, friends and neighbors. I love four legged furry friends; giving them walks, playing with them and making them feel comfortable. I have always adopted rescue dogs so have a good sense of how to take care of apprehensive dogs, as well as hyperactive or dogs that need more attention and a patient trainer. I have amateur experience training dogs and have learned tips from my sister who is an experienced dog trainer and dog walker. I have chickens at home and have cared for furry, scaled and feathered friends in the past, I love them all. I am patient and loving when it comes to taking care of animals and hope you will consider me to take care of your best friend(s)! My partner and I have recently lost our best furry friend and I would love a reason to get outside more often with my favorite animal (dogs!) or any animal at all. I currently work full time but am off on Sundays/Mondays as well as evenings. My job allows me to leave midday as needed. If I can plan ahead with a care schedule, I have no issue fitting walks/care as needed. I personally have always had free range dogs, but have experience with free ranging as well as crated dogs. I am comfortable working with contained pets as well; chickens, other birds, snakes, tarantulas etc.

Due to unforeseen circumstances we were without a cat sitter shortly before going out of country for over 2 weeks and were more than a little stressed. Luckily, we found Meghan who not only was available but made us feel totally at ease. She is a great communicator and goes the extra mile. I can't say enough good things about her. I often foster kittens and make sure to take shelter dogs out for days on town to give them a break from their kennels! Animal shelter worker who has an 9-5 but can work around mine and your schedule with Fridays and Saturdays completely free! I work Sunday (10am-5pm)-Thursday (9am-6pm).
