6. Mackenzie K.
About: I have been living with and taking care of dogs and cats for the majority of my life, but only have 3 years of paid professional experience with animals. I’ve worked at a doggy daycare/ boarding facility for cats and dogs, which helped me gain experience with many different sizes, breeds, tempers, medications, etc. I also work in childcare, but will always make time to stop by and take care of your pets! I am almost always available for overnights. Overnight pricing includes 8pm-6am, along with two 30 minute drop ins or walks during the day. Even when working other jobs, I will ensure your pet gets their needs met. I will always be sure to follow you and your pet’s routine and rules, as you know your pet the best! I want your pet to be as comfortable and happy as possible while in my care.
7. Jordan B.
About: Hi! 😊 My name is Jordan! I am a passionate pet lover and a full-time online college student studying social work. I offer heartfelt pet sitting and dog walking services. My journey through a vocational agriculture program and an internship at Adorable Pets Veterinary Clinic has deepened my understanding of animal well-being. Volunteering at shelters has also fueled my passion for caring for animals. When you choose me to watch your furry family member I promise to shower them with love and attention 😊 Your pets won't just be in capable hands; they'll be with someone that genuinely cares for their happiness and well being. ❤️ I am currently a full time online student so I can choose whenever I complete my classes which gives me full flexibility in my pet care schedule! I am the most flexible pet sitter ever! Firstly before any appointment I ensure that my home is pet-proofed, removing any potential hazards or toxic substances. I secure the windows, electrical cords, and keep small objects out of the pets reach. I also will make sure your pet always has access to clean and fresh water. Regularly refilling their water bowl throughout the day to keep them hydrated. I will also engage your pet in physical activities to maintain their health and well-being. For example taking your dog for walk or playing games with them. For other types of pets I will also provide interactive toys for mental stimulation. I also do not mind grooming your pet according to their specific needs. For example brushing their fur, trim their nails, clean their ears. Overall I see pets as children and will protect and care for them as such! ❤️

“I can’t say enough good things about Alexis. She was fantastic with my stubborn, anxious girl. It was very clear from the beginning that Alexis knows how to handle dogs. She sent me a ton of feedback and pictures, and it looked like my Roxy had the best time during their walks. Amazing!!”

12. Amber S.
“Amber watches our dogs and elderly cat regularly for weekends away, She really cares about them and they seem to really like when she stays with them. Daggett our finicky eater, barely gives her trouble even when he's decided the latest kibble isn't up to snuff and Norbert has adopted her as his comfort person when he gets the chance. Gizmo, our 16 year old mostly blind tabby follows her around and likes to use her as a pillow. All and all Amber is a great caregiver and I can not recommend her enough.”

Very personal and professional! Definitely will use her in the future!”

20. Andrea P.
“To Whom it May Concern: This is a letter of recommendation for Ms. Andrea Pannone to be a pet sitter for your organization. Andrea is, as you phrased it is, "An awesome human being." She balances her work life with her college studies extremely well, while still having time to foster a rich family and social life. Andrea has a strong sense of compassion for animals. Two examples come to mind: 1.) She was driving home from work last year when she encountered a gaggle of geese crossing the road. She, of course, stopped to let them cross. A car behind her, though, got impatient, and passed Andrea, running over two geese in the process. Andrea was incensed and noted as much of the offender's license plate as she could as he sped off. As soon as the remaining geese crossed, Andrea tried to catch up with him to chastise him, but she could not without endangering herself and others. She called the police with as much information as she had, which, led to an investigation by Shelton's Department of Animal Control. 2.) In April, 2021, Andrea was eating lunch on her deck when a bird flew into a picture window. The bird was flying so fast, it bounced off the window and landed two feet away. It lay on the deck with a twisted neck, with one wing flapping. It could not move otherwise. Andrea immediately logged onto Google and researched the best way to treat the situation. She then swaddled the bird in a cloth napkin and placed it in a small box to give it a sense of security. She then called the Shelton Department of Animal Control, but it was closed. Several emergency numbers were given and Andrea called one of them to plea her case that this was an emergency. Her advocacy inspired one of the Vet Techs to suspend her family's dinner to return to her work facility to receive the injured bird-a grey catbird. The Tech administered a pain killer and an anti-inflammatory. Two days later, she sent a video of the bird being released into the wild. The Tech indicated Andrea initiated the actions that saved the bird's life. Andrea has been noted numerouse times for her excellent customer service. She has worked in food service, in several settings, and her managers have always commended her attention to detail, her courteous manner, and her problem-solving abilities. Please feel free to call me if you'd like to discuss Andrea's candidacy further. Regards, Bob Pannone (203) 918-5291”
