“We feel so lucky to have found Kendra! I needed someone at the last minute (the day before a trip) and downloaded Rover based on a friend’s recommendation. Kendra responded immediately and came over to our house within a couple of hours for a quick tour and to meet our cat, Pumpkin. She dropped-in over the next couple of days to keep Pumpkin company while we were gone. She’s caring and loves animals and our shy cat (who is young, very small, and suspicious of mostly everyone) took to her right away. We got lots of cute pictures and Pumpkin-updates and felt like she was really being looked after. We will continue to contact Kendra whenever we go out of town!”

About: Hello everyone! I started on Rover in May 2022 during my didactic (classroom) year of PA school. I took a break from Rover for the past year due to traveling for clinicals, but I am back on Rover now that I have graduated from PA school and passed my boards. I’m currently waiting for my license to get approved and have nothing but time on my hands to watch some pets and make some extra money! I have owned and cared for pets long before I was even 10 years old. I have had everything from birds and turtles to dogs and fish. Additionally, I have been asked to watch neighbors’ and friends’ dogs and cats many times. During the pandemic, I worked at a pet store for roughly 5 months as a puppy sales associate because I wanted a lighthearted job working with animals everyday. I have experience training my own puppy in undergrad and caring for a senior dog and senior cat during their final days as well. I am an enthusiastic animal lover and I look forward to meeting your fur babies! UPDATE: Since starting with Rover in May 2022, I have gained even more experience with different types of pets and administering medications ranging from oral to injections for diabetic pets. While I’m waiting on my PA license to come through, I’m pretty much available all day every day. I expect to be in Savannah until mid June. Your pet’s safety and happiness is my top priority. As a dog owner, I know how important my baby is to me, so I would make 100% sure that your pet is cared for to the best of my ability and that nothing bad could ever happen to them. I am truly excited to spend time with your pet! As someone in the healthcare field, I will make sure your pets receive the same amazing care as any human patient would. Plus, I would love to send you cute pics of your pets while you’re away!

About: I’ve either had or taken care of other dogs for 10 years! I love every dog and love walking and see how happy dogs get! I currently work full time but I’m looking for a little extra income to supplement a future trip and daily, I work out and my schedule varies depending on my work schedule but I will make it work to walk and visit your family pets. I ensure that each dog will have enough food and water and enough playtime so that they do lot feel lonely. I would walk them and give them all the love they deserve

About: I’ve had dogs since I was born. I love dogs so much and enjoy meeting new ones. I love animals so much and would love to do this for a while. I am currently employed and work 8:30-4:30 but have a good lunch hour. I love dogs so much and enjoy spending time with them. But I am available during the week to sit and/or walk animals when needed. I have had dogs my entire life and know how to walk them, feed them, and take them out when necessary. I am very experienced.

“We have 4 large dogs (over 400lbs). One is old and deaf, one is a giant breed puppy, one is relatively normal, and one usually hates the rest (as in will try to kill them). They are a handful to say the least. Katie is a dog whisperer for sure. She keeps our dogs alive AND happy. She’s done everything from just dropping by to let the puppy potty to staying an entire week while we were out of the country. Our dogs love her and yours will, too!”

About: If you have an active dog who needs to run and play, my sons (ages 16 and 18) will love to watch over them. We have a small, 17lb, fixed, male cocokapoo who loves to run and play with other dogs. Let's meet and see if they can be friends! We live on the marsh on Wilmington Island and enjoy long walks at each of the Savannah parks. We are trained by the Humane Society as dog walkers and have volunteered for years. We love dogs! We are friendly, loving, caring dog people. If you are looking for someone to dog sit your dog while you're away we will provide a safe place to house your doggie. If you just need someone to walk your dog while you are at work we can do that as well. I work full-time and my sons are in school. However, I work 15 min from home and can be home for lunch breaks. We love dogs! We love dogs and have taken care of them for years. My youngest son is a part of the vet science program at Islands HS and is training to care for animals.
