About: I am a very punctual, assertive sitter. I am active and can keep up with energetic pets. I don't have any specialized training but know the basics in potty training and commands. I am a full-time student, but most of my classes are online, so I am available 4 out of 5 days of the week. I am on the Roanoke rugby team, so most Saturdays I am playing matches in the afternoon but can work around that. I have a cat of my own, whom i spoil greatly. I treat all animals as if they are my own. I am very tentative and loving towards all four legged friends.

I’m available all day Fri-Sun. I’m familiar with the requirements of constant attention to pets. I’m on call 24/7 for my 2 year old German shepherd, Mellie. She’s a lovely, amazing high energy working dog with a hefty owner’s manual. I’m used to my schedule accommodating the highs and lows of pet care. I get how dogs can feel about a stranger in their home, and same for their owners. I’ll follow whatever house rules you’ve got, and respect your dog’s personal space. I’m working to fully understand dog body language & stress indicators, and how to adapt my own behavior appropriately. I don’t offer boarding services at my home - my dog isn’t dog-friendly. I don’t offer overnight housesitting either - I prefer not to leave my dog overnight unless I can find a sitter for her.
