“Barbara is an absolute gem and fantastic dog (and house) sitter! She was so kind and loving to our dog Brie during a recent trip of ours out of town. Barbara really became invested in understanding Brie's needs, preferences, routines, etc. and this was very comforting to me. She was also very communicative during our absence -- not only with photos (much more forthcoming than other sitters we have had) but also stories, anecdotes, observations etc. about their shared days. It was as if a family member were watching our sweet pup. Barbara also took wonderful care of our house. She is a careful steward of her surroundings, and treads softly in life. Nothing was out of place; everything was spotless and in the same or better order as I had left it for her. I would highly recommend Barbara to others and look forward to having her care for Brie in the future. Thank you Barbara!”

About: I'm an older woman that loves all kinds of animals. I've had pets most of my life until I lost my cat Gracie 2 years ago. It's been lonely since she's been gone, but taking care of your pets and home has become my new passion and I get a lot of joy and fulfillment from it! I have a lot of love to give your babies in your absence and I'm a homebody who won't leave them alone for long. I'm almost always home alone to watch over your pets and take them out as much as needed. I do a little work remotely but my work doesn't take much time and it's very flexible. I am happy to send you photo updates daily or as often as you'd like. Your pets won't be left in crates while you are gone, they will be getting lots of love, attention, exercise and care! I only do pet sitting in your home. That way your pets will have minimal stress and maximum comfort and familiarity with their things and their routines. All pets must show proof of being current on all vaccinations. No exceptions. I only watch trained dogs with verbal recall and no prior history of injury to other animals or humans. I'm able to take your dogs for walks, play lots of fetch and tug of war, laser tag or fishing pole with the cats. When walking your dog, I take great care not to cross paths with any other dogs in any case, so as to avoid any potential problems. I always clean up after your pets. I'm happy to bring in the mail and water plants. It is my intent to return your home in the same condition you left it. I take up very little space and my needs are minimal. I only need reliable internet for work and I have my own car so I will need safe parking. I provide my own food.
