About: My first paid job was at 13, looking after a disabled senior dog named Ben. It was a tough job at times, but caring for Ben was the catalyst behind my love for older dogs. I’ve cared for and boarded dogs both young and old, along with having my own dogs since childhood. Unfortunately, my senior Rhodesian Ridgeback, Red, recently passed, giving me more time and space to care for others. I work part-time from my St. Paul home, so I truly have lots of time for walks and play! I have a flexible schedule, so I’m able to work with you and your pet’s scheduling needs. I work part-time for myself from home, so walks and playtime can happen throughout the day and evening. My pet-loving fiancé also works from home and is an additional help. I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of room for play, along with a walkable neighborhood and friendly neighbors. My home is cozy and safe for dogs of all abilities, with very few steps and space to sprawl out and sleep. With me being home the majority of my working days, your dog will get lots of attention or space if they need it.

About: I've had all kinds of animals my entire life! I worked as a dog training assistant and a fear-free petsitter and groomer! Animals are my world and I'd love to expand my professional life by working with animals either in my home or in your home! I am currently working part-time, but want to expand that due to needing some more funds. I can usually make anything work as long as I know ahead of time! “I met Shontay over a year ago when she found a small dog roaming in her neighborhood. She worked so hard trying to find the owner and took great care of the dog until the owner was found. She located the owner within a day or two and the little pup went back home. Fast forward a week or two and that same little dog had gotten loose again and went straight back to Shontay's home to get some love from her, again he was returned home within a day after getting a bunch of hugs, food and loving attention from Shontay. Couple months later the same pup was very sick and the owner contacted Shontay to see if she could help her dog, Shontay is very holistic and was able to get the dog healthy again. I don't trust many people with my dogs but I do trust Shontay! I also like that she loves to read and is always learning how to help animals & people heal. If your dog is a special needs pup, hire Shontay to watch over them when you need someone to help. Shontay and I have spent hours on the phone just talking about dogs. She is a very kind and loving person that adores animals. Just hire Shontay, you won't be sorry!!”

About: A friend to all dogs. I am 41, own a 2 story home with a fenced in yard in St Paul and I share this home with my Fiancée, our dogs Pickles and Lola. Lola is fun, playful and so very sweet and Pickles is a spunky, playful, energetic boy that makes friends easily! We enjoy trips to the Battle Creek dog park, running around the yard, naps in the sun and all the snuggles. I’ve had dogs my whole life and will always have dogs. I fully understand the love and companionship that our dogs provide us with, which is why I would be honored to take extra special care of your best friend. I have experience administering medications and live just down the street from a 24 hour emergency pet hospital. I’d would love to care and love your dog while you’re away. I am a Tattoo Artist and have a very flexible schedule. My Fiancée works remotely 3 days a week as well so there is almost always someone here with the dogs. Lola is fed twice a day (with a few treats in between) in the morning (7-8 am) and evening (4:30-6 pm). In the warmer months we take walks in the late morning or hit the dog park to blow off some energy! We love Battle Creek the most but pop over to a few other local ones as well. I have a completely fenced in yard. I also have a half door to my kitchen that I use to feed dogs separately in case of food aggression issues. I also have a flexible schedule so dogs are never left alone for more than a few hours.
