2. Sheila W.
“Excellent communication! We felt like our dog was able to have a little vacation of his own. We look forward to being repeat customers the next time the need arises. Thanks!”
3. Claudia H.
“Claudia is wonderful! She took great care of our very anxious dog, provided lots of walks and playtime for him, and she sent many updates and photos throughout his stay to let us know he was having a good time. Will definitely book with her again in the future!”
4. John O.
“Ollie seemed to be very happy when I picked him up!”
5. Ashley K.
“Gracie's stay with Ashley was the first time we've left her with anyone but family in about 10 years. As soon as I met Ashley I knew Gracie would be in good hands. I appreciated Ashley's willingness to give thyroid medicine twice a day, and to make Gracie comfortable in her home, and to send a picture and report that she was happy and safe. We would definitely book with Ashley again.”
6. Kyle J.
“Kyle was great for our young blue heeler Shadow! Our dog needs time to warm up to new people, and Kyle was very comfortable with that process. Upon first meeting, Shadow growled at him and snapped at the air a bit but Kyle was not bothered and knew to ignore Shadow at first. After some time, Shadow was asking him for belly rubs. Before leaving Shadow with Kyle we arranged two visits between him and the dog to make sure they were friends. Kyle was very accommodating and happy to take that extra time out of his day. I really appreciated his willingness to do that. During their time together, Kyle sent photos and updates every day. Right away from the photos we could see that our pup was relaxed and settling into spending time with his new human friend in the house and on walks. Shadow even got to sleep in bed and sit on couches (like he does at home...) Knowing everything was OK for both of them really helped us enjoy our trip. Big thanks to Kyle!”
7. Michaella D.
“Michaella was excellent! Having never stayed with someone else before, our dog was quickly very comfortable with Michaella. She sent plenty of photo updates and clearly gave our dog lots of love and attention. We would definitely book Michaella again in the future.”
8. Riya B.
“Riya was amazing! Took time to get to know my dog and let us both feel comfortable with her, her space and her dog. Sent photos and I was confident during my time away that my dog was well cared for and was having fun. Highly recommended!”
9. Ashley S.
“Ashley and her family were wonderful hosts for our dog, Dudley. He came back from his 4-day stay in great condition. He had good walks and lots of attention. He is a bit idiosyncratic in the way of older dogs, and that did not phase them. We really appreciated their loving care. Plus, Dudley got along excellently with their sweet spaniel, Wally! Ashley kept us well up-dated on his activity, which was reassuring, because it's hard leaving quirky old dogs. We highly recommend Ashley and her family.”
10. Yuxin Z.
“Yuxin was great with Bucky. She sends lots of pictures and videos though the day. He needed some extra attention and had some medicine. We will definitely use Yuxin again!”
11. Alex E.
“Alex made my dog Juju feel right at home and was very flexible on the drop off and pick up time. I got a tired pup back, which is always nice. :)”
12. Lorie S.
“Lorie and her family were awesome! They treated Benji like he was one of the family. He and her terrior were best friends. We definitely will be back!”
13. Destiny M.
“Destiny is a true professional! Her home and beautiful land are set up for dogs to be safe and to feel at home. She anticipates their needs and provides for them -- she clearly understands dogs, has tremendous experience with them, and definitely loves them. She sent us pictures and gave us regular updates during our dog's stay. We are so grateful to have found Destiny and, if she will have our dog back, we will definitely book again!”
14. Jennifer L.
“She was great! She sent lots of pictures and videos and was very responsive! Has an amazing set up for the dogs and our pup came home exhausted!! Will definitely be back!”
15. Stephanie M.
“Stephanie was amazing, flexible, responsive and sent us photos regularly! She had our dog Central for almost an entire week and he loved her. Highly recommended”
16. Susan T.
“This was the best Rover experience for me! Susan made sure my dog is safe and feels comfortable. My dog easily gets nervous with strangers, but she got used to the new environment faster than normal. I felt like Susan is really good with handling dogs too because she has great amount of experience with dogs. I really appreciate her updates, photos, and all the accommodations she has made for us. Thank you!!😊”

About: Hi! We’re Robert and Eileen 😀 We’re longtime Ithaca residents and currently have two dogs and one cat. All three animals are retired Cornell Companion Therapy Animals, and both dogs are AKC-registered Canine Good Citizens. We’ve both owned dogs throughout our lives, in addition to smaller animals like hamsters, gerbils, degus, birds, amphibians, and reptiles. You can expect that we’ll maximize quality time and attention for your pet, so we may be selective and will prioritize quality care over quantity of animals. We have a large, fenced-in backyard and live in a very dog-friendly neighborhood. Robert works from home and will stay with your pet throughout the day, and Eileen’s work schedule is very flexible. Come try us out for a more personalized doggy daycare experience! We’d love to include your dog in outdoor play time with our two dogs. But please don’t hesitate to inform us if your dog needs any special accommodations. We’d also love to provide photos throughout the day because we know how important it is to know that your pet is ok. Since our dogs are getting older, we have experience administering oral and injected medications as needed, and we’re located minutes away from Colonial Vet Hospital in the case of an emergency. Please send us any questions that may have. We’re looking forward to meeting you and your pet! Robert works from home and will stay with your pet throughout the day, and Eileen’s work schedule is very flexible. Your dog would join ours for morning, afternoon, and evening playtime outdoors or more if needed. Your dog will live with us in our home and have access to our large fenced-in backyard. Dogs will be supervised at all times while outdoors.
