About: Peppy Pet Care was launched at the end of 2018 in Ithaca, NY by myself and my animal-loving, entrepreneurial eleven year old daughter. Together we worked to provide outstanding pet sitting services to Ithaca and Lansing pet owners. Beginning in 2021, I started officially working on my own, as my daughter is busy pursuing other interests and activities. I treat pets in my care as I would my own. I am considerate, patient, reliable and caring and trustworthy. I treat each visit like an adventure and make it the warmest and most wonderful experience for each animal. Mornings, afternoons, evenings, as well as late night. I am typically in town during holidays and update my online calendar frequently. I provide care in client homes only at this time. “I am fully comfortable leaving Marley with Andrea. During her stay, Marley had some stomach issues, and Andrea kept me updated the entire time. Sometimes after staying with a sitter, Marley can be a bit clingy. You would not know I was gone with how relaxed she was when I returned. I highly recommend Andrea!”

About: I've had dogs my entire life from puppies to rescues! I've also been a grooming salon manager in Ithaca for 7 years. I've cared for many different breeds, ages, temperaments, and quirks all dogs have and I love them all the same. I'm now a stay at home mom missing my daily dog visits! I have two dogs of my own Luke and Yoda. Luke is a 6 year old lab grey hound mix around 35 lbs. He is very loving and playful. Yoda is a 5 year old miniature fox terrier mix who has unlimited energy and is the sweetest snuggler. I'm willing to bathe and groom but it just depends on your dogs hair and size because I do not have a grooming area set up yet in my home, but I'm willing to talk about it! I am home all day with my baby and two dogs of my own so I can give the same care to some extra dogs! I treat every dog as if they are my own. I have lots of extra blankets to make sure they have there own space (i do recommend to bring some of there stuff like blankets, beds, and toys to make them more comfortable) and have extra room to separate them if they need to be alone. I will always make sure they are comfortable, happy, loved, and safe!

“I would highly recommend them for any of the services they offer. Lil bear has “separation anxiety” and traveling on a airplane is too much for him to handle. Aaron and Kaylee really work hard to introduce your animal to theirs, and others they maybe watching. I did a couple daycare weeks there before I had him stay. Lil bear always seemed willing and excited to go there each morning. He made friends with the other day there. He always gets good exercise while there, tired when he comes home. Worth it. And they are very accommodating to any changes or needs you have.”

We had been worried about leaving him at such a transitional time, but she made the extra effort of meeting him prior to his stay with her, first in our home, then in her own.
