But the most amazing thing about Piper was that during the 11 days we were gone there was the biggest ice storm of the season and Piper was unflappable. “Chantal has been our dog sitter for over a year. She is FANTASTIC! We can go away and not worry about our two dogs at all. Chantal’s gentle and kind to our senior dog. She puts Gracie’s bed right next to her when she’s working at the desk and takes breaks just so Gracie can sit on her lap! She plays and entertains our younger dog and watches her carefully so she doesn’t hurt our older dog being too rambunctious. My dogs eat 3 times a day, need to go out often - they are a lot of work in many ways and Chantal does it all. She is completely reliable, very responsible and takes care of our home and dogs with love and kindness.”

“I would absolutely recommend Pheobe for any dog need you may have whether that be sitting, walking, or grooming. She has groomed and sat my 4-year-old Yorkie/Maltese mix for at least a year. He always comes home looking great and is always so excited to see Pheobe, which tells me she treats him very well (probably even spoils him a little!) every time they are together. She is one of the most respectful, caring, and genuine people I know and I wouldn't trust my little guy with anyone but her.”

About: I was raised with animals all my life. When I had my second child I realized that I no longer had the time to devote to a pet. Our schedule was chaotic that it seemed unfair to bring a new pet into the family. Now that our girls are off to college we have finally gained the freedom to come and go and plan spontaneous trips. While this is still not a great time to have a pet I still miss their companionship and with no grandchildren on the horizon I have so much time and live to share I work remotely and have a very flexible schedule. Little to no daily commitments makes it easy for me to pop in and out as needed I believe in routines and honoring the owners schedule and wishes. I want animals to feel loved and cared for and to not skip a beat when their owners are away

About: I’ve been caring for horses, dogs, cats and yes even cows my whole life and as my kids have become adults I’d love to offer some of my new found free time to your pets as well! As a near empty nester who can only walk and hike and rollerblade with my dog so much I’d love to use some of my available time to help others with their pets! I personally know how much I appreciate knowing my pet is cared for when I’m not home and would love to offer the same comfort. As a Licensed Real Estate agent I am very experienced with the care and trust it takes to let someone in your home and as a loving dog owner I know how precious these furry friends are and how important their health and safety is to their humans.

About: I got my first pet at 18, a kitten who was from a stray in the neighborhood. I still have that cat today, as well as her brother, an adopted pittie who is 11 and an adopted mutt who is 10. I’ve fostered over 30 dogs and a few kittens, volunteered at our local animal shelters and worker events trying to find pets loving homes. I love caring for animals and being a person animals trust. I am a self employed person so my schedule is very flexible, I take my own dogs on daily walks and can fit things in easily. Since I will only be doing dog walking and checking in, I will do what the client asks of me in their home for their pets.
