They are a bit high stress and have health issues, but the week went amazingly well with Jenna, and when I got home, they seemed completely normal and happy (and my house was cleaner than when I'd left!). Jenna is kind and gentle, and they seemed to sense her good energy and took to her immediately. She has great communication, and it was very reassuring to get little updates and pics from her regularly. About: I have always had dogs and would love to spend my spare time helping others when they need help! I know how hard it is when you need help and having someone you can trust is so important. My schedule is completely flexible so I would be available most of the time to accommodate those who need help with their pets. This could be house visits, walks. Whatever is needed. I live near a park so there will be a lot of time out on adventures going for walks on the off or on leash trails.

About: I've taken care of three different types of medium and large dogs in my family as I've grown up. One was a German shepherd/husky mix, another was a terrier/Shih Tzu mix, and my current dog is a black Labrador retriever. I have come to understand just how much of a responsibility comes with being a dog owner ever since I was little, so I know it's not always just a walk in the park (pun intended). I am experienced with both senior dogs and puppies, and am extremely attentive in order to cater to their needs. Safety is always a priority to me as well as properly maintained communication between myself and any client/employer. I am available any day, as long as I am given at least a day's notice in advance. I am also a part-time online student during the spring semester, so I have a fairly flexible schedule for pet care. I always make sure my own dog has access to water and feed him on schedule everyday (getting up early is not an issue). I make sure to pay attention to whenever he needs to be let outside to do his business or if he needs to get some energy out. His exercise is also a priority whether that be walking, running, or playing fetch in a field. While on walks, I keep him on-leash unless in an enclosed public field for dogs and I carry poop bags with me at all times when I take my dog anywhere.

The dogs are always excited to see him and beg for his attention, which Chris is always eager to give them. I know that he is good to them, because of how they react when he shows up. Chris is also very active and loves to take the dogs out to trails for walks. Even in bad weather, he doesn't let the rain or snow stop him. Chris is very patient, responsible and caring and I highly recommend him as a caregiver for your dog!”
