1. Jenn & Brian H.
“Jenn & Brian are really warm, friendly and welcoming. They’re really nice and we felt very comfortable while leaving milo at their place. I informed her about Milo’s neuter and she was really caring and kept sending updates about the stitches as well. I am from Chicago and sad that they’re in NY. If we are in same place I would send milo again and again to them whenever we go on a vacation. Best people ever! Highly Recommended.”

10. Jessie W.
About: . As cliché as it sounds , dogs are my life! I am passionate about the way they communicate. I highly enjoyed back when I volunteered at a foster rescue agency in Charlotte, NC. This opportunity polished my skill of handling myself in high pressure and high energy situations when it comes to dogs and cats. Working for Rover, growing up with dogs, and volunteering was another rewarding pet experience I had which gives you basic but hands on independent experience with clients and there furry loved ones. Rover is actually my main job. It’s enough to support yourself as well as I love the schedule flexibility. I am home most of the time and if I do leave it’s usually just to the grocery store or maybe to dinner. I love being home and watching TV or doing some type of new art. I’m studying to attend Animal Behavior College so I can train PTSD Service dogs and maybe even help socialize shelter pups. As I said I am home most of the time minus the normal grocery store run or what have you. They will get frequent potty breaks as well as a nighttime long walk to wind down so shall they stay overnight. If they have any problem areas,I like to dedicate a small slot of time to enrichment aka knowing as training time. Great way to help me practice as well as help any areas a part might need to work on… Not that they’re not perfect as is 😇. I’m a single mom who has my son by myself full-time however, please don’t think that will interrupt the level of care or undivided attention that your pup will have! My son loves animals he absolutely gets so excited whenever I have a client! Due to being a single mother, I am home full-time, and Rover as I said as my main job. Although I don’t even look at it as a job I seriously love what I do. Whenever I do have a client, I like to adapt to whatever your pups schedule is! I don’t mind getting up as early as 6 AM if that’s what they’re used to. I found that it’s better to keep them on the schedule that they have at home as it helps them acclimate to being away from home. I love my clients and I’m very signature with each one. I like to tailor my service based on the clients needs. For instance, if they are an anxious client with separation anxiety, I will sleep in the living room with them so they do not feel alone. I even like to do little blanket forts with my son and the client and that gives them a little den to feel safe in. If they don’t mind being in the bedroom they are more than welcome in there. I give each client free roam of my home. Whether you choose your home or mine, I will focus solely on making sure your fur baby is not only cared for, but stays entertained as well as meet all of their needs accurately and on time. What’s more is that my home is a calm, peaceful, spacious 4 bedroom with a good size backyard. In the backyard, I have a stake leash tie out so your pup can be secured since it’s not fully fenced in but they also will have about a 20 foot diameter to roam around and feel free. I never leave any client unattended out there however just for safety precautions. In my home, I have plenty of guest items in case you forget anything such as toys, food/water bowls, beds, even doggie sweaters in three different sizes for the colder months and doggy boots in two sizes in case it’s muddy/rainy! I offer meet and greets before the sitting so you and your fur baby can get comfortable and acclimated with myself and my home and I can then address any concerns and answer any questions you may have. During the meet and greet I will also ask YOU a few short yet detailed questions to make sure I take the utmost care of your fur baby while you’re away be it in your home or mine! Some of the questions include specific feeding times, vet & ICE information, favorite, toys, and games, and discuss any behavior issues or anxieties and how I can best comfort them! All pups get to go home with a thank you card and a new toy whether it’s a rope, ball, or squeaker depending on what their favorite is! As you’ll see, it’s an option to take care of your pup in your home if you’re more comfortable with that. When you book housesitting, this includes of course, first and foremost, taking care of your fur baby just the way I would at my house but also includes watering any plants, bringing in any packages or mail, and though it’s not specified through Rover, I like to go above and beyond, so I don’t mind doing any laundry or lighthouse cleaning. I assure you when you arrive home your home will be in the same if not better condition then you left it!

15. Jaddua J.
About: I have always been an animal lover. I have experience caring for dogs and cats of different sizes, breeds, and with special needs. Let me spoil your cat or dog while you need to step away! I included pictures of past pets that I have owned or cared for. I work from home with a flexible daily schedule, so your precious pet will get non-stop attention. Daycare drop off and pickup hours can be between 6 am and 7 pm. Pickup times after 7 pm would need to be booked as overnight boarding with pickup the following morning. I offer extended stays as well. Currently, I don’t have any pets in my apartment, yet I have plenty of open space for hosting furry visitors. I have worked with many foster dogs who were abused and needed extra attention, so I am sensitive to any special needs your pet may have. I will be glad to take your dog for outside walks at least few times a day! Please let me know of any other needs your pet may have and I will be happy to discuss how I could accommodate.

18. Elizabeth A.
“Elizabeth has cared for 2 of my dogs for many years. She loves to walk the dogs, snuggle and play with them. Bella was a Tibetan Terrier who liked people more than dogs, so she really took to Elizabeth. Rufus, a Bernadoodle loves all living things and loves when he sees Elizabeth. Elizabeth has watched out dogs overnight many times, as well as being a dog walker and companion when needed. She just loves all dogs! I highly recommend her as a pet sitter.”
19. Carolyn P.
“Carolyn is wonderful! Treated our dog like her own, and sent us a pic during the day. She has a fantastic backyard that is super dog friendly and her own dog is great! Could not have asked for a better experience for our dog while we were out sightseeing for the day. Carolyn may be higher cost than others but she’s worth every penny. Would go back again and again. Thanks so much!”
20. Kara S.
