Choosing the perfect dog name is an important task, with results that last a lifetime. Whether you end up naming your dog something one-of-a-kind or opt for something more on-trend, your dog’s name remains just as unique as they are.

From Angus to Ziggy and everything in between, Rover.com dug into their database to discover the most popular dog names of 2014, and stumbled across some eye-popping trends along the way. Read on to see if your canine’s moniker made the cut!

While there were a number of techie dog names such as Siri, Tesla, Pixel, and Google, Rover.com’s data showed that overall, we were less obsessed with techie and hipster dog names in 2014. That didn’t stop these names from making it on the list:
