“Karina is 100% the most reliable dog sitter I have ever had and I use Rover all the time / have had friends and family watch the dogs and Karina will always be my go-to. She isn't just 'stopping by' to check on the dogs but actually cares about them, will bring them for endless walks / runs / whatever is compatible with the dogs needs and energy level. Finding someone who says they care about dogs vs who actually does is harder to find than you think. She has been watching my dogs for over 3 years (1 since he was only a few months old and needed extra attention, and our other senior dog who needs pills...etc). Highly recommend!”

About: I do really well with medium to large dogs that need to run. Every dog is a little bit different, but most seem to enjoy keeping up with me Trail running or alongside my mountain bike. 🚴 🐕 My preference is to take dogs to trails for their outings. More smells, more fun! I’m comfortable housesitting and house calls. I am middle-aged, mature, healthy, and reliable. I prefer to build rapport and have repeat (fury) clients. I’d love to meet yours and access the fit. I volunteer at the local animal shelter, dog walking. I’m experienced with clicking with new dogs and building a rapport quickly. I had to learn to be a great dog owner/caregiver. My siblings had allergies, so I adopted my first dog when I was an adult and I read books on how to work with them. My first pup was a border collie/husky mix. In other words, he was smart in Wild. I discovered the value of embodying a gentle alpha presence, and my life has never been the same 😂 Much later, I bred and nurtured a litter of yellow labs. I prefer to be active late morning and early evening. I’m a great option for that dog that needs some mid day exercise or to get those wiggles out before bed. I can be available on short notice because I’m likely going running or biking anyways 😏 My preference is to care for dogs in their own home. They seem to be more comfortable with that. My home is an option for boarding, case by case.
