“Karla is amazing! I am so thankful we found someone we can trust to stay at our home and watch our dog when we travel. She sends picture updates, is great with communication, spoils our girl while we are gone, and keeps our home fresh for when we return! Highly recommend her 😊”

“Zoei interacted with Kuma from the moment she walked in. Kuma inspected her and approved. They enjoyed a day together and we were able to spend time with friends and horseback ride. If ever passing this way again We would book her.”

About: I’ve always loved learning about and taking care of animals. I have my pups Sam and Winston and my kittens, Olive and Ivy! I’ve done dog walking and house/pet sitting in the past as well. I currently work from home and can provide flexible care to your pets! I do have some pets of my own, but my partner is able to care for them while I am with your pets. I provide lots of attention throughout the day and have a flexible schedule to meet the needs of your fur-babies. Any specific requirements/requests for your pets’ schedule can be accommodated.

About: I started a dog sitting business in high school just to spend time doing what I love. I bought a puppy in college and it was amazing learning to raise it. I love pets and want them treated with the right amount of care. I work part time at the airport while Im out here in Montana and have a very flexible schedule. A young single man who loves animals and has plenty of time to give to them. I have a lot of energy for those through the roof dogs and can also just chill on the couch if need be. Whatever is necessary for your dog, I am willing to offer. A strong military background has molded me to show respect and care to anything you leave me with.

About: I'm 18 years old but I've taken care of all sorts of animals my entire life, cats, dogs, lizards, you name it! I've also had 6 dogs and 1 cat myself, which have all grown up and old in a happy and fun environment! I do not live in a neighborhood, so i have a large fenced yard along with about 4 acres of field to play in, along with a lake near me for hot summer days. Given all of the pets i've taken care of, I have great experience in dogs and cats of all ages, puppies, senior dogs, etc. I am currently a senior in high school at Glacier, however I only have one class that is completely online, so i am home all day everyday! Along with school i work a part-time nanny job in the AM Mondays and Thursdays, but it is super flexible so i can meet your needs. As you can see i have a very open schedule that is easy to work with, and i am home most of my days which is perfect to watch your animals. I'm using my love for animals as a little source of extra income! I have a large fenced and protected yard with an easily accessible dog door on both the top and bottom floor of my home. I do have two of my own fur babies, but they are trained and are used to being around all different types of dogs. However, if your dog/ cat is not good with other dogs and cats I am able to keep them separated by the floors in my house, so that would be no problem.
“Erran was fantastic! If I could leave more than 5 stars I would. She really has a way with animals and is so kind and thoughtful! She took wonderful care of our house, our pups and even our geckos and frogs! Everything was in perfect order when we returned and the dogs are so happy! She really went above and beyond more than any other sitter ever has! We really truly appreciate you, Erran and thank you so much for taking such great care of our dogs and our house while we were away for the last week and a half! We can’t wait to have you back again! Thank you so much.”
About: About Me Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I lost my beloved dog a year ago, and while I’m not ready to bring another dog into my family yet, I deeply miss having a four-legged companion beside me on my walks and hikes. I already spend a lot of time outside walking and hiking around the Flathead Valley — so I’d love to bring your dog along. I’m a mom, longtime dog owner and animal lover, and I understand that every dog is different. Some dogs need a relaxed sniff-around-the-neighborhood walk. Others need to MOVE. I’m happy doing both. My goal isn’t simply to get your dog outside long enough to check a box. I want them to come home happy, exercised and ready for a very good nap. 🐾 30-Minute Neighborhood Walk — $20 Perfect for a midday break, potty time, fresh air and exercise. We’ll spend the appointment walking in your neighborhood or another appropriate area close to home, with plenty of time to sniff, explore and stretch those legs. I’ll send you an update and photos so you know exactly how your dog did. 🥾 60-Minute Adventure Walk — $38 For dogs who need more than a trip around the block. Depending on your location, your dog’s temperament and fitness, weather and trail conditions, our hour may include a neighborhood power walk or transportation to a nearby dog-friendly trail for a mini hiking adventure. If you live close to places like Lone Pine or another suitable trail, I’m happy to spend part of our hour getting your dog somewhere genuinely fun to explore. Transportation during an Adventure Walk is included within the booked 60 minutes when we agree on a nearby destination in advance. This is especially great for active dogs who need real physical and mental stimulation. My Service Area I intentionally keep my service area relatively small so I’m spending my time with your dog rather than driving all over the valley. If you’re roughly within a 15-minute drive of me, you’re probably within my regular service area. What You Can Expect Your dog’s safety comes first. Before our first walk, I want to know about your dog’s personality, leash behavior, recall, triggers, medical needs, favorite things and anything else that helps me understand them. For trail adventures, I’ll also make sure we’re a good match before heading out together. And yes — expect pictures. ❤️ I know what it’s like to love a dog like a member of your family. When your dog is with me, I’ll treat them that way. I have a flexible schedule and am available for dog walks, longer adventure walks, and cat drop-in visits throughout the week. I’m already an active walker and hiker, so getting outside with dogs fits naturally into my routine. I intentionally keep my service area fairly small so I can spend more time caring for your pets and less time driving. I’m available for both regular weekly clients and occasional care when you’re traveling or simply need an extra hand. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. For dog walks, I’ll learn about your dog’s leash behavior, temperament, triggers, energy level and any medical or behavioral needs before we head out. For longer Adventure Walks, we can discuss whether your dog is a good fit for a nearby dog-friendly trail and agree on the outing beforehand. I’ll always keep dogs securely leashed unless we have specifically discussed otherwise. For cats and other in-home visits, I carefully follow your feeding, medication, litter and household instructions and make sure doors and windows are secure before I leave. I understand that some pets want lots of attention while others need space and patience, so I let each animal set the pace. Whether I’m taking your dog for a neighborhood walk, heading out for a trail adventure, or spending time with your cat at home, I’ll treat your pet like I would my own and send you photos and updates so you know exactly how they’re doing.
“Natashia was fantastic. She clearly loves and cares for animals, and our cat Bean Bean was extremely pleased with his new friend. She was responsive and helpful, and left our apartment somehow cleaner than when we left it. She even tacked on an extra day to cover our delayed flight. Just a great person.”
“Havana took great care of Callie Mae. She sent lots of pictures and videos! She was also very easy to communicate with. It’s safe to say Callie Mae would love to spend more time with Havana!”

“Sherri went above and beyond for our fur babies while we were away. It’s truly hard for us to feel at ease when leaving them because they are like our kids, but we felt so comfortable with Sherri. She sent more updates and photos in the first evening than most sitters have sent us for whole trips! We are already planning to book Sherri again and would highly recommend her.”

“Jessica is one of the most attentive and communicative sitters we’ve ever worked with! She provided frequent updates and photos and both my babies (a dog and a cat) looked so happy and content in every picture. We had multiple days in the high 90s while we were out of town and she made sure Moose got out early in the mornings or late in the evenings, and even did his puzzles with him during the day to get some energy out. 10/10 would recommend her to take care of your babies!”

“Amazing experience with Vicki!! Her communication was great, she was patient & sweet with my 3 crazy dogs, and left our house cleaner than we left it. Thank you ? would definitely recommend!”

“Oh gosh where to start! She was amazing. Definitely wore the boys out which they LOVED. She even left the boys some toys and treats. Would definitely use Pricilla again!”

“Morgan took such good care of our puppy—she was so gentle and loving with him. We felt reassured that she would take such good care of him while we took a quick trip. She also sent amazing photos and videos of him which also showed how much fun he was having with her! I would 100% trust her to take care of him again.”

“Lea was a wonderful house and dog sitter. She took extra time to get to know my dog before hand and I felt very comfortable having her in my home. I came home to a happy dog and a clean house. I will definitely try to book her in the future.”

“Brooke was great! She updated me on how Mocha was and checked in on my travel plans to ensure Mocha was taken care of. He was relaxed enough to chill and nap and I came back to a happy boy :)”

“Emily was so amazing.. from the very beginning! She was such a great communicator, went above and beyond with our cats, making sure they were safe and loved. She sent us regular pics, so we never worried, left our house cleaner than when we left. Emily was our best pet sitter ever. Thank you so much Emily!!”

“Eileen we cannot thank you enough for the care and the love you have gave Sam while we were away! Eileen kept me updated on her and Sam’s day and activities! We have only adopted Sam in July so we weren’t sure how he would do but based on the pictures I would say they both had a wonderful time! We hope to book with Eileen in the future! ❤️🐶🐾”

5 Star care from Joanna! She provides exceptional communication and sent daily photo updates that kept us completely at ease. Not only were our pups incredibly well looked after, but she also left our home clean and tidy—even taking the time to wash the sheets and towels before we returned. We would not hesitate to book Joanna again!

It was so great getting to know Natashia. It was my first time booking and I messed it up every step of the way and she was so kind. I was worried about having someone stay in our home, but after meeting her I had zero concern. She sent daily updates with pictures and I knew they were being well taken care of and I didn’t have to worry about them.

Bailey is an amazing sitter! We were nervous leaving our fur babes with her after we had a bad sitter experience last month with someone else but Bailey eased our concerns, communicated clearly, sent photos and kept us updated daily on how our furkids were doing. Every time we had a question or checked in she answered promptly. We came home to a clean house and very happy pups! Would 100 percent recommend her for wonderful pet care.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Kalispell walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Kalispell maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Kalispell choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Kalispell. On Rover:
- 100% of sitters can help with special care needs

- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
