“After using rover for a couple months and going through a few sitters Olivia was hands down the best experience that we have had and most affordable. Olivia was very respectful and responsible when it came to watching our puppy. Can’t thank you enough Olivia!”

About: I've been volunteering with animals for over 8 years. I worked in a dog daycare for a little over a year. I have 3 cats, a little black and white dog, as well as other species of small pets. I've had 5 dogs throughout my life, ranging from 10-100 lbs. I have some experience with elderly and special needs pets. All of my dogs lived long lives. One of my cats is elderly, one of my cats used to be feral, and one of my cats has asthma. She gets an inhaler. I'm planning on going to veterinarian school in the future. I've been dog and cat sitting for friends and family for almost 2 years. I'm new to dog walking professionally, but I've walked my own dogs for years! My schedule is very open right now! The only day I can't do is Thursday on a regular week. I likely won't be available after July, so I can't commit to any reoccurring visits after that! It's very important to me that the pets in my care are well cared for and happy. During a drop in visit, I will ensure that your pet is well cared for and I will send updates. I will follow any directions given with detail.
“Riley was amazing! She sent pictures and updates every day, and took time out of her day to come do a meet and greet. I came back to a clean space, fresh water, and my cat was well taken care of and happy!”

About: I started out with animal care by cleaning horse stalls when I was 15. Which included feeding and watering. I used to work at ZooMontana where I took care of the education ambassadors. I now work with large carnivores. I have two days off a week and can come and go as needed. I can come over early for potty breaks, during my lunch and in the evening. I do not currently offer pet sitting in my home. But can travel to you! I'm pretty flexible on traveling as long as it's in the valley.

“Rylee was wonderful! She took great care of our dogs and kept us updated with photos after each visit. It gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We would absolutely book with her again! Thank you, Rylee!”

“Karla was amazing! Followed all directions, very quick to respond in the chat, asked all the important questions, and made sure my 4 babies were cared for on the 4th of July (which is a very scary day for puppies.) I will absolutely be booking with Karla again!”

“We had Dita care for our fur babies while we were on a short trip, and she was great! She was very quick to respond, kind, and respectful. Our pets absolutely loved her too! She followed all instructions perfectly and was a pleasure to work with. 🐾 Thank you again!”

“Another trip for me away from home, with my cats left behind in Tomi's care. I never worry about my critters when Tomi is tending to them. She is my Number One (and really only) choice for pet care. Highly valued, trusted, dependable. I rest easy while I am away knowing my two cats are in such great hands.”

“Sloan was absolutely amazing with my Oakley dog!!! She went out of her way to do a last minute meet and greet and was willing to add a day at last minute notice as well!! I was very comfortable having her are for my Corgi and will definitely have her again!!!!🐾🖤”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Kalispell
Just returned from what was originally scheduled as a 22 day trip to India, but due to cancellation of our retturn flights through the Middle East because of the war with Iran, was extended by another 5 days. Tomi took great care of my cats while I was away. The best part of the service Tomi provided this trip was the ease with which I was able to adjust the schedule from half a planet away with a 12 hour time difference. Tomi added the extra days and agreed to tend to my cats till we returned quickly, without hesitation, which was a great relief and big stress reducer for us. It took some doing on Tomi's part because there were things going on in her life that made it difficult to add those unanticipated extra days. The bnp Pm were healthy and happy when we got back. House was in great shape. Tomi went the above and beyond with with care this trip. I highly recommended her. I

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Kalispell. On Rover:
- 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
