“Karla is amazing! I am so thankful we found someone we can trust to stay at our home and watch our dog when we travel. She sends picture updates, is great with communication, spoils our girl while we are gone, and keeps our home fresh for when we return! Highly recommend her 😊”

“Brooke was great with our big (and needy) crew! She was thorough with all their medications and required special care. She left our home clean, took our pup on fun outings, and sent cute photos. Thanks Brooke!”

About: Hey! I am a graduate student and school counselor. I am also a former athlete at UM and I love taking care of animals! I live by myself with my cat, and currently do school from home almost every day- so I enjoy the company of your pets! I am very active and would love to take your dog for a hike and even a short jog! I am open to and have experience caring for all animals. I am able to watch your pets at your home, or take them for walks during the day. I have a pretty open schedule ! I have one friendly cat at home who gets along well with other pets. However, upon request I can easily keep separated from your pets! If visiting your home I will respect the place and can easily take care of any extra tasks you might need while away.
“Zoei interacted with Kuma from the moment she walked in. Kuma inspected her and approved. They enjoyed a day together and we were able to spend time with friends and horseback ride. If ever passing this way again We would book her.”

“Havana is an amazing dog sitter! One of the best! She’s punctual, intelligent and genuinely cared and loved our dog. She also sent us updates and pictures. I would recommend her to friends and family for their dog sitting needs. Five stars all around.”

About: About Me: Hi, I’m Shauna, a dedicated dog lover from the Willow Glen neighborhood in Kalispell! I live on a spacious 1.26 acre of land with a securely fenced backyard, ideal for dogs to run, play, and relax. My 8-year-old Chihuahua and my mom’s 10-year-old Yorkie are my furry sidekicks, and I’ve cared for dogs my entire life. My goal is to provide a safe, nurturing home-away-from-home experience for your pup. Inspired by countless hours of César Millan’s Dog Whisperer, I use his positive techniques to encourage balanced behaviors and gently redirect unwanted ones with healthy rules, boundaries and limitations. I’m experienced with dogs’ needs, from managing separation anxiety to maintaining feeding routines to administering medications. My pet-proofed home has no toxic plants, and I offer a cozy space for naps and play. I can send daily photo and video updates to keep you connected. As a background-checked sitter, I prioritize your dog’s safety and happiness. Whether it’s kennel-free dog boarding, walking, or house sitting in Kalispell, I’m here to give your dog tailored care. Contact me to discuss your pup’s needs and arrange a meet-and-greet! Services: Boarding (Limited Basis): $80/night (includes lots of supervised playtime outside, feeding and cuddles). Drop-In Visits: $25/30-minute visit (feeding, potty breaks, playtime). House Sitting: $75/night (care in your home for 1 house pet. Cost for additional pets negotiable). Dog Walking: $25/30-minute walk (1–2 dogs). Daycare: $45/day (drop-off care for small/medium/large dogs up to 9 hours. Overtime rate $20/hr.) Experience: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life, like Chihuahuas, Yorkies, Pomeranians, German Pointers, English Pointers, German Shepherds, Labs, lovable mutts, cats and even horses, including my own pets and those of friends and family. I apply César Millan’s techniques to maintain calm, balanced behaviors and ensure a happy stay. I’m comfortable with special diets and reinforcing training. Availability: See schedule for availability. Boarding available on weekends and select weekdays (book early for holidays). Drop-ins, walks, and daycare offered Monday–Friday, 6 AM–9 PM. House sitting by request. Safety: My acre of land features a secure, fully fenced backyard, and my home is pet-proofed for safety. I send daily updates and follow your pup’s routine to keep them comfortable. My mom and 23 year old son, both avid dog lovers, live with me and will be here for those short times I have to be away. I'm currently working part time and the calendar will reflect my availability. When I am pet-sitting in my home, my mom and 23 year old son who both live with me, will be available if I need to go to an appointment. As I mentioned in my bio, my 1.26-acre property features a secure, fully fenced backyard, and my home is pet-proofed with no toxic plants. I send daily updates via text and follow your pet’s routine to keep them happy and safe, kennel-free for comfort.

About: I have over 5 years of experience providing dependable dog sitting, pet care, and house sitting services. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments, including puppies and senior pets. My responsibilities have included feeding, walking, bathing, administering basic care, maintaining routines, and ensuring homes stay clean, safe, and secure while owners are away. I treat every pet and home with the same care and respect I would my own. I work PRN with a local hospital , which allows me to make my own schedule, and I’m a full-time online student who can complete coursework anywhere. This flexibility means I’m able to provide consistent attention, maintain routines, and be present for pets and homes throughout the day, including overnight stays. I care for pets in their homes as if they were my own. I stick closely to their usual routines, making sure they’re fed on time, exercised, played with, and given lots of love and attention. I keep homes tidy and safe, and I’m happy to send updates and photos so owners know their pets are happy and comfortable.

About: I'm 18 years old but I've taken care of all sorts of animals my entire life, cats, dogs, lizards, you name it! I've also had 6 dogs and 1 cat myself, which have all grown up and old in a happy and fun environment! I do not live in a neighborhood, so i have a large fenced yard along with about 4 acres of field to play in, along with a lake near me for hot summer days. Given all of the pets i've taken care of, I have great experience in dogs and cats of all ages, puppies, senior dogs, etc. I am currently a senior in high school at Glacier, however I only have one class that is completely online, so i am home all day everyday! Along with school i work a part-time nanny job in the AM Mondays and Thursdays, but it is super flexible so i can meet your needs. As you can see i have a very open schedule that is easy to work with, and i am home most of my days which is perfect to watch your animals. I'm using my love for animals as a little source of extra income! I have a large fenced and protected yard with an easily accessible dog door on both the top and bottom floor of my home. I do have two of my own fur babies, but they are trained and are used to being around all different types of dogs. However, if your dog/ cat is not good with other dogs and cats I am able to keep them separated by the floors in my house, so that would be no problem.
About: Growing up, I had dogs of all sizes. They were my best friends and still are to this day. After moving out of my home, I decided to pet sit for family friends and I’ve always treated their animals as if they were my own. From early morning potty breaks to feeding them, walking them and giving so many kisses and snuggles, I always make sure the animals feel safe and comfortable when they are under my care. I want to be their friend as much as they want to be mine. I currently live in Kalispell with my husband and 2 golden retrievers, Otis and Kaiya. I’m currently working Monday to Friday as a nanny. Soon I will be starting my first year of teaching. I would love to add pet care after school and on the weekends if possible. Anything from dog walking to letting them out to go potty. I will follow all instructions from the owner about what the dog can and can’t do in their home. I will adjust to their lifestyle in their environment.
“WOW! New to Rover and really wasn't sure what to expect. But I'm SO HAPPY we found Eileen!! We went on our trip and received photos and videos and updates throughout our trip. I knew our dogs were home but happy (and getting spoiled!!) Will definitely be rebooking with Eileen for all of our future travels!!!”

“Natashia was fantastic. She clearly loves and cares for animals, and our cat Bean Bean was extremely pleased with his new friend. She was responsive and helpful, and left our apartment somehow cleaner than when we left it. She even tacked on an extra day to cover our delayed flight. Just a great person.”
“Amazing experience with Vicki!! Her communication was great, she was patient & sweet with my 3 crazy dogs, and left our house cleaner than we left it. Thank you ? would definitely recommend!”

“We are very happy we had Katelyn watch our two dogs for a week! She was communicative, sent as many updates as we requested, kept the pups happy, and was very pleasant to work with. Perhaps the best surprise of all was coming home to our extremely clean home, washed towels/sheets/etc. - which was above and beyond our expectations. Katelyn made our vacation stress-free! We’d definitely suggest her for watching your pets :)”

“Maddie was great to work with for our long weekend away! She was kind, patient, confident with our dogs, helped with the house and plants, and kept everyone happy and healthy! We would absolutely recommend Maddie for taking care of your pups - and we would definitely use her again in the future! Thank you!”

“Abagail was wonderful! She took such great care of our senior dogs and was very respectful of our home. I will definitely be reaching out to her again next time we need someone! You're awesome, Abbie! We cannot thank you enough!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Creston on Rover is $99.9 per night (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of August 2026, there are 146 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Creston. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Creston walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Creston maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Creston choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Creston. On Rover:
- 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
