About: I have a super energetic beagle, and an old teacup poodle, so I can handle both sides of the spectrum of dogs. I love dogs of any size and temperament! I currently work three days a week, so I can spend much time with your babies! Caring for pets is a big part of my life and I would love to help! When working with animals I always am very attentive. I will let them out multiple times, let them get their energy out, always keep their water bowl full and give them so much love!
“Michelle house sat for an our 62 lb 1-year-old labradoodle and brought her own 13 lb 2-year-old Duchhunt along with her. She was very respectful of our differen dog house rules (our dog is not allowed on our furniture) and accommodated our labradoodle's hyper arousal around her little dog, by the end of the week our dog was much better behaved around her dog, which was an added bonus towards his socialization. She told us our dog was ready for greater independence in our home with less dog gates etc, which was input we appreciated. She was respectful of our home and left it as she found it. She was very communicative, we heard from her daily with pictures and she responded promptly to any inquiries from us. I would highly recommend her without reservation.”

“We have a full house of fur babies and we went away for a long weekend. Nadia stayed at our place and did amazing caring for them and we could not be happier. We would definitely have her back to help us out in the future.”

“Chandrika was amazing! She handled our two large dogs wonderfully. She communicated with us and sent lots of pictures. Our older dog just started pain meds to treat an unknown pain source and she did a good job of keeping us informed of how she was doing. The dogs were happy and healthy when we returned home!!”

About: I’ve been taking care of Dogs since I was 8 different types of dogs. This allowed me to understand different types of dog behavior. It's been a true passion of mine to take care of dogs. I'm currently free as of now. I have time to house sit just about anytime of the week whether it's a weekend or a weekday at any time scheduled. I have a fenced-in yard that sits around 2 acres which allows bigger or smaller dogs to be able to get their Exercise or space needed to play.
“This was our first time using Rover and Cindy went above and beyond our expectations! Our four puppies were very well taken care of, and Cindy did an amazing job! We were away for 4 days and she came to our house to watch the dogs. They got all of the love and attention that they get when we are with them! Looking forward to Cindy coming to take care of them again :)”

“Our 2 girls love Jadine. She took great care of them. She sent pictures and kept us informed. ALSO While away I was sick and hospitalized. Jadine was able to work it out to stay longer. Our minds and hearts were at ease with Jadine! HIGHLY RECCOMEND.”

“We couldn't be happier with the care Amanda provided for Alex and Fiji. Communication was wonderful from the start and she provided pictures periodically throughout the weekend. She was dependable and always on time. Amanda followed all feeding instructions perfectly, kept our home tidy, and sent wonderful photos that gave us total peace of mind while away. They warmed up to Amanda immediately. Should we have a need, we will definitely book with Amanda again!"”

“Terry was great! We were visiting Florida from out of town and needed a sitter for 8+ hours with fairly short notice. Our sweet pup isn't always a fan of strangers - especially when we're leaving him with them. Terry was able to win him over - and even sent me a video of her giving him a belly rub! Not only was she willing to stay with him the entire time, but she brought him two toys - one being a stuffed alligator which has become his favorite since we've returned home! Terry clearly loves animals and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone to spoil their pet while they're away - she's Dudley approved!”

“Although it was only one night, we know Kimberly took great care of our boys and showed them love like they were her own! She sent pics, asked questions, and let them cuddle with her haha. Will be booking with her from now on!”
“Bonnie did an amazing job with Angus. All his pictures showed a happy boy. We got an amazing number of pictures and twice daily updates. Great experience and will definitely use Bonnie again as well as recommend her to others.”

About: Hi! I’m an experienced pet sitter returning to Rover with a 5-star rating and a genuine love for animals. I’ve cared for both dogs and cats and understand how important it is to have someone reliable, patient, and trustworthy looking after your pets when you can’t be there. I’m a registered nurse, which means I’m naturally detail-oriented, responsible, and comfortable following care instructions closely. I know every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I take pride in providing calm, loving care that helps pets feel safe and comfortable in their own environment. My healthcare background also gives me experience with careful medication administration and following specific care routines, including helping pets who may need extra attention or support. I work remotely during the week, so while I’m not available to leave during my work hours (10 AM–6:30 PM Monday–Friday), I offer availability for early morning visits, evening drop-ins, and flexible weekend care. I’m happy to help with dog walks, drop-in visits, cat care, feeding, playtime, litter box care, medication administration, and keeping your pets company while you’re away. Whether your pet needs a quick potty break, daily check-in, medication support, or a reliable person to care for them while you’re traveling, I’d love the opportunity to provide the same patience, attention, and compassion I bring to everything I do. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I work Monday through Friday from 10 to 6:30 PM. So I am available anytime before 9 AM or after 6:30 PM on those days. Weekends, I am off so I’m available at any time Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I take the time to learn your pet’s routine, personality, and needs so they feel secure and cared for while you’re away. I treat every home and pet with the same respect and attention I would want for my own.
“Jessica was the best!!! She went above and beyond to care for my pup! She was punctual and always made sure to give an update with each visit. For someone who is nervous about leaving my pup with a stranger I can say that she calmed my nerves and she no longer feels like a stranger. Will certainly use her services in the future.”

“Katherine was an excellent pet sitter! She was communicative, caring, and clearly very loving with our dogs. And cats! She made sure they were well cared for and walked regularly. We felt completely comfortable having her look after them and will definitely hire her again!”

About: I have taken care of a multitude of breeds and animals throughout my life. Growing up I had a teacup poodle named Clara Bow. I later had an english bulldog named Lulu. During my years in high school through present time, my family dogs include a Dalmatian, a Cavalier King Charles, and a new addition Toy Poodle. Dog walking and caring has been a task I have enjoyed and attended to since I was only a child. I have experience with pitbull breeds, as well as older dogs who may need medicine administered, diapers, etc. I look forward to taking amazing care of your cute pups! I am a college student so my schedule is different depending on the season. I bounce around between Fort Lauderdale, Gainesville, and Ocala, Florida. I work part time and have availability for walking, sitting, drop ins, etc on most days of the week. I currently own a cat of my own and she will be a year old in October. No matter which location I am in, my home is filled with comfort, cleanliness, and calm. In Fort Lauderdale there are the two dogs I mentioned, my family dalmation and cavalier king charles. My cat comes wherever I go, but when tending to services in Ocala and Gainesville it is just my one cat in the home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Zuber walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Zuber maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Zuber choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Zuber. On Rover:
- 96% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
