About: I’ve always had pets growing up. Sometimes up to 5 dogs at a time and horses too! So I have lots of experience with animals of various sizes. From chihuahuas and cocker spaniels to German Shepherds and poodles. I currently own a very friendly sterilized full sized golden doodle. He loves all dogs, humans and human puppies and he is down to play non-stop or nap all afternoon. Either one is fine with him. My dog is up to date on vaccines and flea + tick medication. I live in a house on .25 acres with 6ft fenced back yard. Large couch with pup-covers. Kiddie pool available for those who like to swim. Whether your pup is staying with me, or we are going on a walk, they are sure to have fun and I will spoil them just as I would my own! Looking forward to meeting your furry friend! I also have a pool which is available for your pup if they love to swim! Boarding dogs will have their own designated area that is climate controlled and separate from any others who may be spending the night so they feel safe and comfortable for their entire stay! Pick up and drop off services available within 10 miles. Basic grooming (shampoo, conditioner, brush, blow dry and nail trims) available. I do have 3 dogs of my own as well on the property but only 1 of them will be mingling with yours and helping them feel at home! ***if your dog does not do well with other dogs, please do not hesitate to reach out as I may still be able to accommodate them for an additional charge as this will require more individualized care*** Because this is a residential property, in an effort to be good neighbors and provide the best possible stay for your pup, if they exhibit any of these behaviors, our property may not be the best fit for them! -Can jump a 4ft fence -Barks excessively -Digs excessively -Escapes fences, crates or other barriers -Has barrier frustration/aggression with neighboring animals This is all I do so I am always home and will have plenty of time to spend with your babies and ensure they are well exercised and are provided with plenty of individualized care and all the fun imaginable! About: I started caring for dogs over 20 years ago when I was working with a vet in Colorado doing a pet nutrition study with her. She was just starting a doggie daycare and I fell in love with the whole concept. When I moved back home to Ocala in 2007 there were no dog friendly places like there were in Colorado so I decided to open an in home dog daycare. I’ve been doing that for the last 18 years. I have years of experience in dog nutrition, dog boarding and daycare as well working with dogs with special needs whether emotional or due to abuse. I have experience with many different health issues in dogs such as epilepsy, diabetes, megaesophagus, and more. I’m am qualified to give injections, medication, and specialized care for dogs recovering from surgeries, injuries, and physical disabilities. I also have experience with pregnant and nursing moms and their puppies. Pet care is my full time job and life. I do not have any other job. I do have to keep a pretty organized schedule :) My home has a 6’ privacy fence and is set up for dogs to feel that they are at their second home. All dogs coming into my home are fully screened and temperament tested. All vaccinations, recent negative fecal, and proof of preventatives are required before staying. I do provide puppy care in owner’s homes, but not in my home until they are fully vaccinated. I do stay pretty full with boarding, but I am looking to expand and add the service of in-your-home visits mid-day during the week for dogs that have to stay home all day while mom and dad work.

About: Wilbert and I have cared for animals our entire lives, from small pets like rodents and birds, dogs and cats to horses and livestock of all sizes. During visits I handle feeding, enrichment, companionship, cleanup, and well-being checks. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I schedule my days around the pets I’m caring for to make sure they receive consistent attention and timely visits. I plan my calendar carefully so I’m not overbooked and can give each household focused, reliable care. I’m available for extended daytime and evening visits and can provide multiple visits per day based on your pet’s needs. Safety and trust are my top priorities. I follow all owner instructions closely and keep routines consistent to reduce stress for pets. I remain only in authorized areas of the home and am very mindful about cleanliness and security, I make it a point to leave the home tidy and well maintained after each visit. With my Animal Science background and veterinary setting experience, I’m comfortable monitoring behavior, appetite, hydration, and general health. I take precautions with doors, gates, leashes, feeding instructions, and medication directions. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners feel confident and informed while away.

About: I love Rover! I mean, what better job exists than to get paid to spend time with other people's animals? My name is Dan, and I have been around animals my whole life. Currently I am a cat dad of two girls, but I am also comfortable and familiar with dogs, rabbits, and other animals as well. I currently live in a large three bedroom. The property is out in the country, but only a few miles away from Gainesville, so it's far enough to be away from the sounds and stress of the city without really being in the middle of nowhere. It's not the fanciest place, in need of remodeling, but it is calm, comfortable, and pet friendly. There is no smoking inside. The property is not fenced, so I will be keeping everyone inside, except for supervised walks, etc. I am able to board cats, most dogs, and other animals as well. I work from home in addition to doing this, so when I do have a furry guest, I am home twenty four hours a day. I like to actually spend time with the animals I have visiting, so if you have a super playful dog- or one that just likes to hang out on the couch next to someone- I'd probably be a good match. If I am not boarding anyone at the moment, I can walk dogs, feed cats, etc, as well, as long as you are not too far away from where I live. Things I require: 1. I need to meet your animals first (especially for dogs). 2. If I don't feel comfortable , or I feel like an animal is not comfortable with me, I will not confirm the booking. Animals are just like people, we all have those we like and don't like, so don't take it personal if I decline a booking. 3. I do need emergency contact and vet information. I hope I never have to deal with any emergency, but it is better to be prepared and ready, than to be running around scrambling if something does happen. 4. Of course, I need as much food, etc, as is needed for the stay. Things I offer: 1. Lots of attention. Of course, some animals- especially some cats- aren't really keen on it, and that's okay! But if they are, I love to play with my guests! 2. I don't mix animals from different families. 3. I don't charge extra for extra cats, and I only charge a little bit extra for extra dogs. I have been doing this off and on for some time now, and while I don't have as many clients as I want to have, my reviews are good and solid for a reason. I have my own two cats who take up all my time when I'm not out taking care of other people's animals, or otherwise working. The only time I'm usually not available is if I have already made prior commitments. I treat animals like they are children, because to me, they are. My own two are my favorite people in this world, but I love animals in general. I especially enjoy cats, friendly dogs, and giant rabbits. 😃 I like to treat each cat, dog, rabbit, etc, as the unique personality they are. Some cats, for example, are a little more standoffish than others. The best thing to do with them is to not push them. Nobody cat or human likes someone standing in front of them demanding attention ! Some dogs, for example, are very laid back and really just want to lay next to you and snuggle. Others are always ready to play! I am knowledgeable about safety, and when I am doing a drop in visit, I always keep an eye out for anything that doesn't look right. When I am dog walking, I like to go places that are less traveled, I keep my attention fully on them, and on everything going on around us. When I am with your animals, they are my first and only priority.
About: I’ve taken care and owned all kinds of animals since I was young, from hamsters, fish & birds to cats and dogs. I have several years experience dog and cat sitting alike and currently have a cat of my own. I also have experience administering oral and topical medication if needed. No ask is too much! About: I’ve been taking care of Dogs since I was 8 different types of dogs. This allowed me to understand different types of dog behavior. It's been a true passion of mine to take care of dogs. About: For the last 20 years, I have been the loving fur/scale mom to dogs, cats, snakes, and geckos!
