Daisy is full of energy and can be a bit much but she always seemed happy when I got home from work after having a walk with Deanne. Deanne was always flexible with hours, often accomodating change in dog walking times as needed. She always sent photos of Daisy during or after the walks. About: I have had dogs and cats in my home since i was born. I currently live with roommates who have two dogs, and I am the one they rely on when both are gone or away for long periods of time. I work full time, I work mornings mostly and occasional afternoons but they are only about 4 hours. I am able to come in before mornings but I work at 6:30 am. other than that I can stop by anytime I am not working I take dogs out often, and love to play with them. I also enjoy playing with cats and will always make sure they have fresh litter.

About: I have two years experience in a shelter environment caring for dogs and cats. Most currently, I am a dog walker at the Lakeland Animal Shelter in Elkhorn, WI. I have owned dogs for 30+ years. Most recently a 13 year-old American Eskimo. I hold a Bachelor if Arts Degree in Early Childhood from National Louis University. I am a retired Corporate Child Care Director. About: I have been caring for all sorts of critters since I was very young. From pet sitting neighbors cats at age 7, to my first job at a pet store caring for all sorts of animals, and finally the last 13 years in veterinary medicine. I am well rounded in ANIMALS! Everyone knows me as the animal girl or vet tech. Caring for animals is my passion. I am familiar with many medications and able to administer them. I have cared for the young and the old. I grew up with Sophie my paralyzed Dachshund that I helped my parents care for including expressing her bladder. My Jack Russell Greenbean also became paralyzed in her last couple years of life and also needed around the clock care. I am well versed in senior care. I have cared for reptiles, small animals, birds, dogs, cats, horses, chickens, and would love to care for any farm/barnyard animals. We currently have Mac our pitbull/boxer mix, Oak our Australian cattle mix, Stitch our box tortoise and our chicken ladies. I can also offer nail trim and anal gland expression services if needed. I currently only work part time so I have a wide variety of hours to offer care. My mornings start with animal care and my nights end with animal care. I have a variety of dog/cat beds, big and small, all cozy of course. I have multiple different sizes and styles of crates if your dog is crate trained. We have a 3 acre lot that has a fenced pasture. We are in a court so I have the ability to also leash walk around the neighborhood if requested. My dogs are friendly and love visitors. I have a small animal cage that used to be for our ratties and can be used for a small animal/exotic pet.

About: I've grown up with dogs and cats. Growing up, my family had Dalmatians, which probably began my love for large dogs. I currently have two rescue, pitty-mixes. I love the playful energy and am understanding that different dogs have different needs. My dog, Bear, is always getting into something, so I've become pretty good with first-aid! I am a very organized person and have dealt with medications given at particular times. I'd rather be overly cautious than not cautious enough! I have a senior cat that I rescued in 2010. She runs the house and that's ok by me! I love snuggling with dogs and cats alike and giving them all the attention. My education background is a Masters in Secondary Education, with a concentration in Biology, and a bachelor's degree in psychology. I'm totally OK with spending the night with your pets if needed. My husband can watch our crazy boys and cat :) I used to teach middle school science when I lived in Maryland but now I'm a stay-at-home mom in Illinois! Just let me know when you are needed and I'll make it work! I am a very organized, clean and tidy person. I totally understand how much we love our fur babies and will treat them like I'd treat my own. Again, I'd rather be overly cautious than not enough! Our babies can't voice for themselves so it is important to always advocate for them and do what is in their best interest!

About: I've had a love/passion for dogs since I was born into this life. Growing up, I've always had a dog in the house, so it easily became the norm for me. I have experience with a wide variety of breeds, including doberman, pitbulls, great dane, labs, boxers, beagles, and mutts. I truly love them all. I'm open to taking care of all breeds. I don't discriminate! One thing I will note is that I specialize in high energy/working dogs and am very familiar with larger breeds. Just to give you a quick example, I raised a Doberman from a puppy which led to me learning A LOT throughout the process. Doberman are a working breed and require plenty of mental and physical stimulation & I think I cracked the code! I’ve developed a deep understanding of what high-energy dogs need to thrive. I'm good at stimulating their minds, keeping them active and most importantly, happy. I'm not a certified dog trainer, but I do understand the importance of balancing their physical and mental well-being, and I'm dedicated to ensuring each dog has a great time with me! About: It all started out with my love for animals when I was younger. I started out my career in grooming than transferred over to a veterinarian assistant and became a veterinarian technician. About: I’ve spent a majority of my life around animals. Growing up, we had a variety in the house (dogs, cats, fish, squirrels). I’ve learned that being calm, loving, and patient is the key to dealing with any pet. Like people, pets have their own quirks and personalities that is an absolute joy to learn about! I currently assist my sister with her two boys. Now that they are both in school, my schedule is much more open. I help get them to school early in the morning, and help pick them up in the afternoon. I have no problem helping with specialty pet needs and care, whether that be crating, medications, or assisted devices. Your pets are in great hands :)

About: Vet technician, worked with sheltered dogs, & police K9s. I will not turn down any pet of any medical or behavioral issues. I lean towards difficult cases (medical or behavioral) with my patients knowing some may require extra responsibilities that I’m fully confident in helping in anyway I can. About: I’ve been a house sitter and dog walker for other people for years, while also taking care of family rescues also! Puppies and kitties of all ages and sizes, from Great Danes to Bichon! I’m currently studying so some fur friends to keep me company are very welcome! My days are very busy, so I’m mostly available on night sits, otherwise drop in sits are good! I've always loved all dogs, especially larger breeds (though the smaller pups are super cute and sweet and steal my heart equally!). My pup, Bella, a black lab mix, was a very kind, sweet and gentle dog. She passed in 2016 at age 14, having had a very nice life. I would love to help other fur babies who need caregiving while their humans are away or need a daily walk or check-in. I'm at home working during the week and have access to a wonderful backyard, an amazing neighborhood, and parks nearby. I love all outdoor activities, especially hiking and swimming. Would love to take your pups to the beach or on any sized walk they desire!! :) I offer these services because I love dogs, not to make a living. It's a great win/win to have a sweet fur baby around from time to time. Yes, it's nice to have some extra cash to work on the house, but my primary career more than covers my income needs. I share this info so you can be sure no other dogs will share your pup's time with me.* I keep to a strict policy of one-on-one care and up to two dogs from the same family... if you have more than two, please reach out, and I may be able to make exceptions. My rates reflect this customized care and focus for your sweet puppers! *In mid-2024, I started pairing up dogs that requested having another pup present from a different family. Please let me know if you are open to having a playmate for your pup. If you prefer no other dogs in the home while yours is here with me, I strictly adhere to your preferences and take this quite seriously. I specialize in customized care for dogs with behavioral issues such as not getting along with other dogs. Since my dog passed in 2016, I have been able to devote all my time to your pup when they're in my care. They will be carefully cared for and pampered, with every need catered to. The only thing I won't abide is a pup who isn't house-trained. If your dog/pup has never been left with a sitter before and you'd like to ensure they're a great house guest, I do suggest booking a 1-2 night stay much in advance of your trip so we can see if your pup has any specific issues to call out, and if I'm a good fit for them/you. I have found this to be of great benefit to you and me! I charge a cleaning fee IF your pup has "surprise" issues with incontinence, as this behavior can happen; however, I don't take on dogs with this issue unless we have a solution, like a doggy diaper or pee pads (for puppies). Severe separation anxiety can also be challenging, as my own pup had this issue. If there are situations such as this, I ask that you bring a crate, and the pup must be trained and be OK to be in their crate as needed. If no issues like these exist, they need to have their own bed or spot where they like to sleep. I don't allow dogs to sleep upstairs with me. Snuggling up on the sofa with a couple of pups is one of my favorite things to do. I know most dogs like a comfy bed. As noted above, please bring a fresh bed for your pet, either a cleaned dog bed from home or a new one. I have blankets for the floor and a lovely sofa that I cover with a blanket for the occasional daytime snooze. If you have an elderly dog, I know just what to do to provide the best care. As my dog Bella aged, I learned how to adapt every year. Listening to your dog and providing the best care is my priority. I realized that leaving an ailing or elderly pup in another person's care can be stressful. I would treat your dog like my own and hope to put your mind at rest. I welcome all questions as part of our meet + greet. I only sit for dogs I know or can meet during our meet + greet (unless out-of-town circumstances or timing prevail). I can sit at the last minute only for pups I've sat for previously or know well. If you are traveling from out of town and cannot sync up for a meet + greet, please reach out to discuss your situation. As far as breeds go, I have experience with an extensive range of breeds—larger breeds with special needs like an elevated dog water/food bowl due to how they process food or other breeds that are great with humans and not so wonderful with other dog breeds. I've had great results with training. I have experience with smaller breeds as well. As mentioned, I only sit for house-trained and well-behaved dogs in the home. I book up early... sometimes six months before a planned trip. Please plan ahead to secure your desired dates. I look forward to meeting your amazing pups soon!! Jules I'm home most of the time. About: I love animals so much! I have one cat Patchy that I love dearly and an older cat spotty who passed away two theses ago. I love all other animals so why not help out and get paid for spending time with more babies!:) I have bathed, feed other animals for neighbors and such! I have boarded a dog for 1 weekend as well. I am a current dental assistant part time dance instructor. Just looking for anything to save to go back to school! I’m currently working part time and am looking for good employment so this would really benefit me! I have open availability for the remainder of two weeks! Depends on the client home, but I like having cozy things for animals to bury themselves in. As well as things that smell like owner, treats, etc.
