Andy was great! We had a meet & greet so Andy could meet our dog in advance, and there was no problem at all. On the day of the walk Andy stayed in contact with us, shared pictures, and played with our dog afterwards. 100% would recommend.

Jack did a great job with Pivo on his walks. He was punctual and watched over Pivo the way we had asked him to. We'd be happy to have Jack walk Pivo in the future.

About: I have had dogs and cats in my home since i was born. I currently live with roommates who have two dogs, and I am the one they rely on when both are gone or away for long periods of time. I work full time, I work mornings mostly and occasional afternoons but they are only about 4 hours. I am able to come in before mornings but I work at 6:30 am. other than that I can stop by anytime I am not working I take dogs out often, and love to play with them. I also enjoy playing with cats and will always make sure they have fresh litter.

Deanne provided daily drop-in dog walking for my 1 year old golden puppy, Daisy. Daisy is full of energy and can be a bit much but she always seemed happy when I got home from work after having a walk with Deanne. Deanne was always flexible with hours, often accomodating change in dog walking times as needed. She always sent photos of Daisy during or after the walks. I would highly recommend Deanne for her services!!

About: Dogs have always been a part of my life. I grew up with dogs and now enjoy my own dog and watching my kiddos create their own memories with our dog Jack. We enjoy the outdoors and go on a lot of walks and hikes with Jack. I am a teacher looking for a side hustle after 3pm on weekdays and full availability on weekends and Summer. I live in Lake Geneva and work in Elkhorn, so I am available there and surrounding areas within reason. I have two dog loving, energetic kids, a husband and a rescue pup named Jack. We all do well with dogs! ;) We live in a quiet, safe neighborhood with plenty of places to walk. We also have a nice yard to play in along with an endless supply of hugs and treats.

About: I've been caring for dogs and cats for nearly my entire life, so your furry friends will be in very experienced hands. I find genuine joy in being around animals and truly love the bond that comes with pet sitting. Since I believe staying active is essential for a happy pet, I especially enjoy taking dogs on long walks. It’s a great way for them to burn off energy and explore, providing a mutual benefit of exercise and fresh air for both myself and your pup! Lifelong Experience: Hands-on care with a variety of animals since childhood. Large Animal Familiarity: Comfortable and capable with both large and small dogs Active Care Style: Dedicated to ensuring your pet gets the movement and stimulation they need. I’m currently a full time college student and attend classes two days a week. This allows me to have an open and consistent schedule to care for the needs of clients! Growing up, I participated in dog obedience training with my county’s 4-H program. This experience allows me to promote a safe and nurturing environment while allowing the dog to have a positive experience.

About: What sets me apart is my lifelong experience with a wide range of pets, especially rescue dogs and senior animals. I’ve cared for everything from energetic puppies to older pets with mobility or medical needs, and I understand that each animal requires a unique kind of love and attention. I’m patient, observant, and gentle — especially with shy or anxious pets. While I don’t have a pet right now (just got married and moved so it's been a crazy few months), I miss that connection and would love to help others care for their furry family members. I treat every pet like my own and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I work a pretty flexible schedule so that leaves me with lots of flexibility for pet care! I’m happy to do drop-ins, walks, or sitting depending on your pet’s needs and schedule. I’m reliable, communicative, and love spending my free time with animals! I always prioritize safety, trust, and respect when caring for pets and their homes. Whether I’m in your home or mine, I ensure a clean, calm, and secure environment where your pet feels comfortable and loved. I treat your space with the utmost care, following any specific instructions you provide. Being responsible and respectful is my top priority—I want both you and your pet to feel confident and relaxed while you’re away.

About: I’ve been caring for animals for years and truly treat every pet like my own. Friends, family, and neighbors have relied on me to check in, feed, walk, and spend time with their pets while they’re at work or away on vacation. I’m a mom of two who works from home, which allows me to have a flexible and reliable schedule. I’m available for pet care between 8:00am–2:30pm and again from 4:00pm–8:00pm most days. Because I’m home based, I’m able to consistently show up on time, provide dependable care, and give your pets the attention they need during the day while you’re at work or away. About: Hi I am still available for your pet needs please feel free to call or text me. I am home full time and I honestly love animals i will work with all animal's and i can provide references upon request and I have grown up with dogs and cats all my life. As aa kid when I had a dog I fed my dog trained my dog took my dog out my mom only had to do my dogs potty run when I was at school and what I was not able to do she did but I spent a great deal of time with my dog and the dogs I have now are very much loved trained and well behaved and I always tried to find the best ways and different ways that work with the dog. I will gladly work with the owners on what they wish done. I am home 24/7 I do not work. The only time I am not home is if I have drs appointments or another client pet to attend to. I am very flexible in schedule. Please feel free to call me or text me. I care for my clients pets the way my clients ask of me in terms of feeding potty breaks walks etc. I care for the pets as I would want my pets treated with love kindness and respect. We absolutely cannot say enough wonderful things about our dog walker, Faith. She has been nothing short of phenomenal. From day one, she has been incredibly reliable, attentive, thorough, and genuinely caring. Every single visit goes above and beyond what we ever expected. Her communication is outstanding — detailed updates, thoughtful observations, and the sweetest photos always give us complete peace of mind. You can truly tell how much she cares about the dogs she works with, and her positive attitude is contagious. It’s such a comfort knowing our dog is in the hands of someone so responsible, trustworthy, and kind. What really sets her apart is the level of detail and effort she puts into every visit. She never rushes, always makes sure our dog is happy and cared for, and consistently exceeds expectations. It’s rare to find someone this dependable, professional, and genuinely passionate about what they do. We are beyond grateful to have found her and would recommend her 1000 times over to anyone looking for an exceptional dog walker or pet sitter. She is truly one of a kind!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
