I am currently home from college so I am free all day, Monday through Friday. Then starting in August I will be home Friday through Sunday. I also have two fur babies to keep your fur baby company but they can always be kept separate if needed.

“Nora took excellent care of my two cats. She was there faithfully morning and evening, and sent me photos with updates every visit. I know my girls liked her because there were no accidents, no throw up, nothing destroyed—their usual protest moves when I go away. This was my first time hiring a pet sitter, and Nora was a gem.”

“Emma was absolutely amazing. One of our dogs had an upset tummy and she was so kind and patient with cleaning up and caring for him. I would absolutely love to have Emma watch our dogs again!”

About: Caring for dogs has always been a part of my life. I started out sitting for family and friends, and as word spread, I became the go-to sitter for others in the community. I’ve built a strong reputation simply by loving every dog like they’re my own—whether that means long walks, belly rubs, or just being a calming presence when you’re away. Your pup’s happiness and safety are always my top priority. I am a full time real estate agent. I have plenty of time in between showings throughout the day and some days with no appointments at all. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my top priorities are comfort, consistency, and safety. I follow the pet’s usual routine as closely as possible feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions—so they feel relaxed and secure in their familiar space. I make sure their environment stays clean and cozy, give plenty of attention and affection, and always keep communication open with the owner. Whether it’s sending photo updates or checking in with questions, I want every pet parent to feel at ease knowing their furry family member is in caring, capable hands.

“Lauren is responsive and dependable, and we home to a happy kitty! ❤️ Great sitter!”

About: My first pet was a lab/doberman mix named Mickey. I grew up right alongside Mickey, and, since it was my idea to get a puppy, I often found myself at the forefront of his care. I also quite often walk my friend's dog as well (she had a great dane), so I would say that I have plenty of experience handling big dogs! With that being said, I love to care for all kinds of animals, and I look forward to getting to know you and your furry friends! I currently am a part time student and work part time as a pharmacy technician. I am looking for regular, fun work experience with some pretty great animals! I walked my dog four times and a day fed him on a set schedule. This always allowed us to exercise and build a routine!

About: Before I became a teacher I was a vet tech. I own 4 cats, 2 dogs (one that is blind), leopard gecko, & fish. I have experience w/ sugar gliders & bearded dragons. Also, I volunteer w/ a pet adoption agency cleaning cat cages. I work full time during the week, but if needed I can drop by after work. I am available most weekends with or without notice. I give pets their food and water when directed. I let them out to go to the bathroom, and throw in some love since they are missing you!

Youth cat parents share their Rover experiences
This was our 4th time booking Merit for caring for our fur kids and farm buddies while we moved our oldest into her college dorm this past week. We will continue to use Merit as she is punctual, provides wonderful detailed updates and pics of the fur kids at each visit, and follows through on caring for each type of animal with their own food and water requirements. We appreciate that she also helps tend to my youngest daughters 4-H goats and our family chickens along with our fur kid cats. Our one cat requires special medications and Merit helps with this on a daily basis which we are extremely grateful for. Overall, we can't sing enough praises for Merit and her care of our fur kids and farm buddies. Highly recommend Merit and we will continue to book her services for our future trips!
