About: I grew up with 2 dogs in my family and helped take care of them. I also took care of, and played with, my friend’s dogs. I love dogs and enjoy caring for them. I am looking to make extra money. I get along with dogs very easily and love meeting new ones. I am available any time, both weekdays and weekends. I live in an apartment complex with one flight of stairs. The most important thing I do for pets is to follow their routine. I like to spend time playing with the animals, but also making sure they are getting the walks they are used to and meals at their regular time. I prefer caring for pets in their own home, so they are in familiar surroundings. I am an athletic trainer. I mostly work nights from 3-8 and sometimes on weekends. I live with my boyfriends and he works morning and is willing to help take care of animals! I live in an apartment complex with one flight of stairs. They are carpet and I am willing to pick animals up to help them if they have a tough time with stairs.

About: I had a dog as a child. I have had dogs for over 35 years. They are great company and a great addition to any family. I am retired. My time would be totally devoted to spending time with your pet(s). I look forward to giving you the comfort that your pets are well-cared for while you are not home. My pets at home are pretty spoiled. They are not crated and we play inside and outside. Whatever the owners require is what I will do. Unfortunately, my most recent dog died of cancer. I miss her; but look forward to taking good care of other people’s pets.

Sarah did an amazing job watching our cat Ghost. She fed him, gave him meds, changed his litter, and changed his water twice a day. Also, gave plenty of pets and some brushing. We were also given updates on his eating and litter box habits and got plenty of photos. His area was nice and clean and he was a happy boy when we got home. Would 100% recommend!
Nick was a great pet sitter. We used her services for drop-in visits to walk and feed our high-energy mini golden doodle. Nick has animals of her own and was not fazed by our dog’s energetic antics. I appreciated her communication efforts and received multiple photos and videos to assure me our dog was doing well. I would highly recommend her services to any other pet owners looking for someone reliable who truly loves animals.
Liz is Awesome !!!L Liz has a great personality and It was immediately obvious that she loves cats and was totally comfortable approaching our Atticus. Atticus is usually very hesitant around people but he took to her right away, purring and rubbing up against her. We felt very comfortable with Liz and we know our baby is in Great Hands !!! We look forward to scheduling her again...!!!
Delaney was absolutely wonderful! She took amazing care of my two very shy cats while I was away for a week. Kristy was amazing! She is so kind and very thorough with her care. My dog is 15 and has some mobility issues but Kristy made me feel comfortable leaving her in her care. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
