About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover with over 12 years of hands-on experience providing loving, reliable pet care. I currently share my home with two wonderful dogs, a playful Goldendoodle and a loyal Lab mix, and caring for them is just part of my everyday joy. But my experience goes much deeper than that. My journey into senior and special-needs dog care began with my late dog, who bravely battled cancer and faced anxiety in his final years. Through that deeply personal experience, I learned the importance of patience, gentleness, and truly understanding a dog’s emotional and physical needs. I became a pro at administering medications, both oral and topical, and at creating a calm, supportive environment for dogs with health or anxiety-related challenges. Whether I’m caring for a high-energy pup who loves fetch, or a senior dog who just wants a slow walk and a warm lap, I tailor every moment to meet their individual needs. I specialize in helping dogs feel safe, relaxed, and happy, even when their humans are away. I treat every dog like my own with compassion, consistency, lots of love, and belly rubs. With me, your furry friend will always be in good hands because I understand firsthand just how much they mean to you. My schedule is highly flexible. I homeschool my two boys during the week, which gives me the freedom to accommodate walks, visits, or in-home sitting throughout the day. My weekends are also open, so I’m available when you need me most. Whether it’s a last-minute getaway or regular weekday care. I have a fenced in yard and two friendly dogs to keep your dog company. I allow the dogs to roam free but I can also crate them if needed or preferred.

“Amanda was wonderful! She took such great care of my girl! She was very patient and kind to my 4 month puppy. She was reliable and very detailed in her daily notes which gave me peace of mind. You will be lucky to have her sit for your pets! Thanks, Amanda!”

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was 12 when I got my first family dog, I have since then raised my own 4 dogs. Animals are family and should be treated as a members. Yes, my dogs sleep in the bed :) I work a 9-5 remote schedule so I am able to be flexible most days for letting out to potty, and belly rubs and playing with toys! If I could be a dog walker/sitter full time I would be! My dream is to actually open a dog sitting business some day! I love dogs more than people!

“Cassondra took such great care of our pup! And gave updates, along with cute photos! We trust her and she even came over ahead of time to make sure we were comfortable. Will absolutely be using her again!”

About: Based right behind the Rivergate Shopping Center, I’m here to serve the pups of our community. Every dog is different, and I tailor each walk, drop-in, or stay to fit your pup’s needs. Whether it’s a hound on the hunt for new smells, a shepherd with energy to burn, or a senior dog who just wants a little sun and company, I aim to make every visit enriching and stress-free. I bring hands-on experience from a locally owned pet care business in Washington, DC, where I was trained to handle all types of dogs and provided care for dozens of pups. Since I’m new to Rover, most of the photos on my profile are from that time—but Charlotte dogs are already starting to fill the gallery! On weekends, my fiancée and I love hosting pups in our home. Our dog Sergio (he’s the white one with a spot on his eye) is friendly, playful, and gets along with dogs of all sizes. If your pup stays with us, we’re happy to take them on local adventures—like hikes at McDowell Nature Preserve, playtime at the dog park, or laid-back walks around the neighborhood. Let’s get your pup some fresh air and tail wags. Please reach out any time! I have a work from home job that allows me to swing by to pick up your pup in no time at all! My calendar changes, but I’m always doing my best to serve you in the best way possible. If you’re interested, reach out and we can create a schedule together. In my home, I treat every dog like part of the family. I keep a consistent routine with walks, meals, play, and downtime, and always make sure they have a safe, clean space to relax. I pay close attention to each dog’s needs and stick closely to any instructions you provide so their stay feels familiar and comfortable. In your home, I focus on keeping your pup’s routine as normal as possible. I’m respectful of your space and follow all care instructions to the letter, whether it’s feeding, walks, meds, or crate time. I always make sure your dog gets plenty of attention and exercise, and I’ll send regular updates so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands.

About: I’ve been in the veterinary world for 20+ years and then decided to be a human nurse. I understand Animals more than humans. I am able to give medications, injections, or simply love on your pet. I work a full time job, but with flexibility. I do not work on the weekends.I am able to come to your pet before work and after work. I would be able to provide the best care in your home. I have experience with all pets and able to mold my care based on any pets requirements.

About: We strive to provide nothing but the best care for your furry best friend! We are dog lovers here, our furry babies are our family, and our goal as your sitter is to treat your baby no different! We provide love, cuddles, playtime, and anything you may request or your pet may need to make them feel at home while you are away! We provide pictures, updates, a safe home, and a large fenced in yard for playtime and lounging in the warm sun. My goal is to always provide what I would want for my 3 babies, which is nothing but love and great care! I have dog sat for many years, but my years on Rover have been the best and we have met some great new friends! Our boys are all rescues, so I understand anxiety and special needs completely. I started dog sitting to provide what I wanted in a dog sitter: a loving home away from home, stress and worry-free trip (for you!), an affordable alternative to a stressful caged boarding environment (for your baby), and the chance to meet all kinds of new dogs! I am currently working part-time from home, which is extremely flexible. No meetings, calls or schedules, so your pup gets my full attention at any time! We love a beautiful day, sunny and breezy, and just hanging out in the backyard. I am a dog lover, and I love the company of dogs. Getting outside in the fresh air, going for walks, playing endlessly with a ball in the yard, or just watching the pups play and have fun amongst each other! We have a fenced in yard and a big old floof that loves to play! We strive for nothing less than what we would expect for our own. I love to play with them, cuddles and connect with their unique behaviors!

Kristyn C.
Star Sitter

“Kristyn is an amazing fur baby sitter she has watched my very high maintainence pups several times and when I take them home they are sad to leave. They refer to Miss Kristyn as Aunt Kristyn now she has became a part of our family, and I can not explain to you how excited they get by just mentioning her name around the house. We have been forced now to go and visit her every once and a while because if not my babies pout. I could not imagine sending my babies to someone else's house. They love their Aunt Kristyn and love to play with their friend Tito!!! I highly recommend Kristyn to anyone with fur babies!! If you do not book with Kristyn you really are making a mistake!!”
