I felt very secure with my dog staying in her (and her husband’s) care. She (and they) obviously knows and cares for dogs. I had useful feedback from the visit (my dog was fine with her cat—(and dogs)—though she has had very little exposure to cats—so it appears vibes are what count with Frances. ) Hannah was friendly even when I changed my time plans on the actual day, oh-so-gently informing me she would definitely modify whenever she could, but she was dealing as well with other customers’ sometimes conflicting schedules. She was very good!”

About: Over the past 35 years, we've had three dogs who lived to 13, 14 and 15 years. We are very familiar with older dogs as well as young dogs and enjoy playing with dogs. After the loss of our last dog, Lucy, we decided to take a break from having another dog as we were empty nesters. We love dogs and were encouraged by our grown children to try Rover. We live on a quiet street near the York Harbor Beach and our house is far from the road with woods all around us. I am a regular daily walker and would love to have a dog to walk with me on occasion. I am familiar with the regulations on leashes, beach hours and waste bags. We are generally home on the days we accept pet sitting to take care of any visiting dogs. We became pet sitters because we enjoy hanging out with dogs. We have a large backyard surrounded by woods far from roads as well as a home that is dog friendly. We live about 2/3 mile from a quiet beach and it is a perfect walk for most dogs.

About: Dogs have been my passion for 30 years. I have had all types of breeds - tiny to giant and have adopted all of my babies. I am experienced with giving special medical care and medications including injections as several of my kids have had severe illnesses. I believe there are no bad dogs, just dogs who express themselves differently. Would love to meet your four-legged family and help make them happy. My day rates are based on an 8 hr day. Rates for after 8 hrs can be discussed. I work from home and have a flexible schedule which allows me time during the day to provide the attention needed for walks and potty break. I have a fenced in area for potty breaks and playtime. Timber is in full puppy play mode and loves to share her toys and balls with our guests.

Her place is a great set up for dogs, with a fenced in yard and a large couch for snuggles :) It is obvious that she truly cares about your pet. “This was our first Rover experience. We made a last minute decision to find a sitter so we could enjoy the beach. Michelle answered our inquiry super quick. She and her two dogs were very friendly and welcoming. I felt reassured and comforted by their set up - fenced in backyard and tidy house. Our puppy had an amazing time playing with her’s - I don’t think he wanted to leave tbh. It’s good to know we have a safe place for Zephyr when we come back to Ogunquit!”
