“Katelyne was so easy to work with! Wore our pup out and took great care of our chickens, while keeping us updated on how they were doing the whole time. Will definitely be using her again!”

“Stephanie stepped in at the last minute to take care of our dog and cat when we went out of town, and was great with our animals. She did multiple drop ins/ day and was very prompt with her timing, so our dog wasn't stuck waiting to go outside. She even managed to get our very skittish kitty to come out of hiding for pets and photos, which is a rarity :) We were so happy to find her, and will happily request her again in the future and recommend her to whoever is looking for a reliable sitter.”

About: Just an all around animal lover! Patient, understanding and will lead with confidence so your dogs feel structured and safe. You can be at ease knowing that safety for your pet is my highest priority and I will treat them as my own! I work online from home and set my own schedule so I am available all week. I am available to walk your neighborhood, my neighborhood is great or I love to walk trails and beach :) I develop a relationship with each dog based on trust and an understanding of their individuality and personality. I allow dogs to be dogs within the realm of what is appropriate and they seem to appreciate my confident and casual style of leadership.

“Tina was amazing! She took care of Martin like her own. We had her do a few drop ins while out of town and she kept us in the loop the entire time. She even offered to check on our pup when our flight was delayed. Tina made me feel like I could put my phone down and not worry if Marty was going to be taken care of. I definitely recommend Tina for your pet sitting needs.”

About: I care about them as if they were my own. They don't live as long as humans so they deserve the best life we can give them while they're here. The only experience and knowledge I have of dogs and cats is what I've learned on my own with my pets throughout my life. I don't have a job so my availability is mostly flexible. Looking for extra money, I don't have any special skills I just need extra money and love dogs and cats. The only thing I can think of that puts me apart from other services/sitters is the desire and drive to complete any task, besides my love for pets, I have a great work ethic that helps me be motivated to ensure every step was taken in completing a task. Money is also a great motivator but isn't the saying "do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life", that's a great interpretation of my work ethic. I'm currently unemployed. I usually have availability on Saturday, and Sunday. If I am available during the weekend I will update my schedule, otherwise that's my availability. I cannot offer boarding in my home because I live in an apartment where each pet in my home needs to be paid for and accounted for by my apartment management but I will treat your animals and living spaces like royalty and respect all responsibilities asked of me while I care for your pets in your home.

About: Lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats. Patient, dependable, and attentive. I even taught my cat to sit and spin using positive reinforcement! I have a flexible schedule, allowing me to provide reliable, attentive care and accommodate your pet’s routine, including walks, playtime, feedings, and check-ins if needed! I will follow your pet’s routine, provide fresh food and water, exercise, playtime, companionship, and plenty of love while keeping your home clean and respected.
“We had a great experience with Andrea. She was incredibly thorough, detail-oriented, and clearly took the time to make sure everything was handled exactly how we like it. Most importantly, Suma really enjoyed her and had a great time playing. She was always prompt and communicative, sending lots of updates, photos, and messages during her visits—which I know many pet owners will really appreciate. You can tell she genuinely cares and puts in the extra effort. She’s newer to Rover, but you wouldn’t know it from the level of care and professionalism she brings. We’d absolutely book her again!”

About: Hi, I'm Elizabeth! Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up around dogs, cats, horses, and livestock, and I've spent years caring for animals of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I have professional experience working in veterinary medicine as a veterinary assistant, where I gained hands-on experience monitoring pets, administering medications, recognizing signs of illness, and providing compassionate care. I also own and operate my own animal wellness business, where I provide PEMF therapy to help support recovery, mobility, and overall wellness for animals. Whether your pet needs a quick potty break, a long walk, overnight care, or just someone to give them extra love and attention while you're away, I'll treat them like they're my own. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, and I strive to make them feel comfortable, safe, and stress-free. With me, you can expect: * Reliable, honest, and dependable care * Frequent photo and video updates * Plenty of playtime, exercise, and cuddles * Experience with puppies, senior pets, and pets with special needs * Comfortable administering oral medications and following detailed care instructions * Respect for your home and your pet's routine My goal is to give you complete peace of mind while you're away, knowing your furry family member is in caring and experienced hands. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! Pet care is already a regular part of my daily routine. My schedule is flexible, allowing me to accommodate drop-in visits, dog walks, and pet sitting throughout the week, including many evenings and weekends. I make it a priority to provide dependable, on-time care while keeping each pet's routine as consistent as possible. Whether your pet needs a quick potty break, playtime, feeding, medication, or extra attention while you're away, I'm happy to work with your schedule whenever possible. I provide care exclusively in my clients' homes, where pets are most comfortable and can maintain their normal routine. At this time, I do not board pets in my own home or offer overnight stays. During each visit, I make sure your pet has fresh food and water, potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of love and attention. I'm happy to follow your pet's normal schedule, administer oral medications if needed, and provide any additional care instructions you leave. For pets that need more attention, I can make multiple visits throughout the day and stay for extended periods to ensure they receive the care, companionship, and exercise they need while you're away. My goal is to keep your pet safe, happy, and as stress-free as possible, and I'll send regular photo and video updates so you always know how they're doing.
“This was our first time using Rover and we feel so lucky to have found Bonnie! She was very responsive to our frequent communication - answering questions, understanding when we needed to make a schedule change, and sharing updates and photos during her visits. Most importantly, she gave care and attention to our beloved Kiwi and for that we're very grateful! We highly recommend Bonnie and will definitely use her again.”

“I requested drop-in visits for my three very large dogs at the last minute. Stephanie responded promptly and came over to meet the boys the same day. When I returned from my weekend getaway, my dogs were happy and well taken care of. Stephanie was amazing, trustworthy and sent me pictures and messages daily. I absolutely recommend Stephanie as a pet sitter and will not hesitate to request her services again.”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
