About: Hey! I'm super passionate about animals and have tons of experience caring for them. I've grown up with pets my whole life, from dogs and cats to hamsters and fish, so I'm comfortable with all kinds of animals. I'm responsible, reliable, and always put the needs of the pets first, making sure they're safe, happy, and well-cared for while you're away! I am available to provide care for any furry friend at any moment. No matter they need, I’m always available to treat your animal, as if they were my own. I treat pets just like family. they are family to me and deserve to be treated with passion and integrity. Their emotions are stronger than the average person.
“Haley was great! We had her check in on our dog who recently had puppies. We couldn’t ask for better care and communication throughout the process. I highly recommend Haley as a dogsitter!”

About: Hi! I’m Vanessa, and I’ve spent over a year working hands-on at a professional dog daycare and boarding facility here in Orange. That means I’m used to caring for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels — from bouncy puppies to mellow seniors. I’m currently offering dog walks and drop-in visits only. Whether your pup needs a quick potty break, a structured walk, or just some loving company while you’re away, I bring the same reliability and safety focus I use at the daycare. I also love adding enrichment — things like sniff-walks, interactive games, or even “report card” style updates so you know how their day went. I’m currently working a part-time job and my hours differ week to week. Some days it’s 7 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. and other days it’ll be from 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m! Mondays are my busiest day of the week, so I can’t fit much into that day, but you can always still message me and I can see what I can do! In a client’s home, I always follow your pup’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure. For drop-in visits, that might include letting them out for a potty break, refreshing food and water, giving medications if needed, and spending quality time playing, cuddling, or just keeping them company. I make sure to leave everything tidy and send photo updates so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away. For dog walks, I focus on safety and fun. I use secure leashes/harnesses, keep a close eye on the environment, and adjust the pace to match your dog’s age and energy level — whether that’s a brisk stroll or a relaxed sniff walk. My goal is always to make sure your pet gets the exercise, attention, and care they deserve while giving you peace of mind.
About: I've grown up with dogs my entire life and I adore them. I have two dogs of my own, a 12 year old Border Collie mix and a two year old Australian Shepherd, and I volunteer down at the Richmond Animal Shelter every week so I'm used to handling a variety of dogs! I have a very flexible schedule and I would love to work with dogs of any activity level, age, or size! I definitely understand the importance of frequent potty breaks, consistent meal times, and lots of love and playtime! Also, punctuality is something that I take very seriously so you won't have to worry about me being late! But most importantly, I know how special your dog is to you and I will look after him or her as if he or she were my own! I look forward to getting to know both you and your sweet pup! :)

About: I’m an animal care professional with a genuine love for pets and plenty of hands-on experience caring for animals. Through my work as a zookeeper, I’ve developed strong skills in understanding animal behavior, providing enrichment, following individual care routines, and making sure every animal feels safe and comfortable. I’ll treat your pets like my own and make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and love while you’re away! I am able to help during the days/evenings Sundays to Tuesdays and any other day after 5pm for taking out on walks, hanging out, administering any specific medical care, or anything you may need! I can follow any instructions you may need to take special care of your furry friends. I will make sure to always properly follow instructions on how you would like your animal cared for, and can also provide expertise from personal experience in animal care if you need assistance.
“McKenzie did an amazing job caring for Leo while I was away. The timely communication and follow up was top notch and kept me at ease knowing he was being taken care of in absence.”

About: Hi there! I have 7 years of pet sitting experience along with taking care of my own animals throughout my life. I have the most experience with dogs, cats, and birds (though I’m no stranger to farm animals). I love being outdoors and staying active, so I’m always happy to go on walks, play outside, and keep pets engaged and comfortable. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets and I always do my best to ensure that they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I work Monday-Thursday 7-5 which means that I am available before and after work and have open days Friday-Sunday. In some cases I’m able to be available during lunch time depending on the proximity of the pet to my workplace. I have a fenced in backyard and live right next to a track for plenty of running/walking time for your pet. I try to stick to the routine of the pet that I’m taking care of so that they aren’t experiencing too much change while their owner is away!
“We were in town for a couple of nights and wanted to go out to a nice dinner. We had Megan come to our hotel room to stay with our Schnoodle so she wouldn’t bark the whole time! Megan was great. Right on time- very engaged and we felt very comfortable leaving her with Maisy. Highly recommend.”

About: Hi! I'm a passionate pet sitter with professional experience working in both a boarding kennel and a veterinary clinic. During my time at the kennel, I cared for pets of all ages—from young puppies and kittens to senior pets—and worked with a wide variety of breeds, personalities, and energy levels. I also have experience caring for pets with medical conditions and special needs, including administering medications and providing attentive, individualized care. Working in a veterinary clinic has further strengthened my knowledge of animal health and behavior, allowing me to recognize when a pet may need extra attention and provide confident, compassionate care. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I'll treat them like one of my own. My goal is to keep your pets happy, safe, and comfortable while giving you peace of mind with regular updates and photos throughout my visits. 🐾 I currently work full time at the veterinary clinic but I can pop in multiple times a day to check on your furry friend(s) or I can also stay the night at your house 😊 When caring for your furry friends in their home, my goal is to keep them comfortable, safe, and on their normal routine as much as possible. I provide feeding, fresh water, walks, litter box or potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of companionship and attention based on each pet’s personality and needs. I also have experience working in both a veterinary clinic and a boarding kennel, so I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages, breeds, and temperaments, including those with medical conditions or special care instructions. I understand that pets feel most secure in their own environment, so I take the time to make them feel calm and cared for while you’re away. I can administer medications if needed and will closely follow any instructions you provide to ensure their health and well-being. During each visit, I’ll also check that everything is safe and in order in your home, and I’ll provide regular updates with photos and messages so you always know how your pets are doing. Frequently asked questions about Rover

You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
