About: I have 5–6 years of hands-on experience working with animals in daycare, boarding, and veterinary settings. I am also available for evening visits after work Monday through Thursday and have greater flexibility throughout the weekend. When I am to care for your dogs in your homes, I will take them for walks and play with them as much as I can. If there is a fenced in yard we will do plenty of activities!
About: I have owned and taken care of family cats and dogs for 10 years. I've pet sat for friends/family before and given pills/oral medicine when needed. I can walk dogs, and do most of the daily tasks (feeding, litter boxes, etc) your pet needs! About: Hi there! I have 7 years of pet sitting experience along with taking care of my own animals throughout my life. I have the most experience with dogs, cats, and birds (though I’m no stranger to farm animals). I love being outdoors and staying active, so I’m always happy to go on walks, play outside, and keep pets engaged and comfortable. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets and I always do my best to ensure that they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I work Monday-Thursday 7-5 which means that I am available before and after work and have open days Friday-Sunday. In some cases I’m able to be available during lunch time depending on the proximity of the pet to my workplace. I have a fenced in backyard and live right next to a track for plenty of running/walking time for your pet. About: I've grown up with dogs my entire life and I adore them. I have two dogs of my own, a 12 year old Border Collie mix and a two year old Australian Shepherd, and I volunteer down at the Richmond Animal Shelter every week so I'm used to handling a variety of dogs! “Randi went above and beyond to make sure our animals were taken care of. She even voluntarily took home a chick that could not walk and fixed it's leg so it can get around on its own now. She also watered our plants and brought in mail while we were gone. She seems to know a lot about dogs and is a wealth of info on chickens, as well. Some of my chickens were not doing so well and thanks to her advice, they are looking healthier. I'd highly recommend her.”
About: I've had pets my entire life and have been given more responsibilities with age. I have a dog a cat, and a horse that all need special care from ear infection treatments to prescription drugs. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
