“I did a lot of homework and reviewing of boarders for my 1.5-year-old, 70 lb. Aussie/golden before landing on Robin because of her amazing reviews and years of experience. We had just had a terrible board and train situation leaving him with some pressure sores and anxiety. I am so glad I chose Robin though. She allowed me to come out a month before booking to see her facilities, get to know me and my pup, and to explain how his days would be going. Ollie looked so incredibly comfortable around her then I started calling our vacation his summer camp. She sent pictures almost daily of Ollie running around and playing with other pups. He came back to me 5 lb. lighter than before because of it (he needed it!) and I can also tell that she kept up with his training that we have been working on which I greatly appreciated. I now gladly tolerate the additional 30 minutes added to my 7 hr drive because I know Buster will be happy and healthy when I pick him up. They provide 5-⭐ care every month!!”

While we have had good success finding trusting and loving sitters, we really were blessed to meet Mark and Daniel. Their attention to detail prior to our pets arrival, their ability to be flexible when my scheduling mistake was uncovered, but most importantly, the level of care my pups received was top-notch. The home is clean, fenced in large yard and they really love what they do. I don't know if we will be back in that area, but if we are I will re-book with Mark and Daniel.”
“Oh my word. Rebekah was a life-saver. We had a last-minute booking, and at the Meet & Greet, any fears I had were out the window. She is so friendly and welcoming that my pup ran right to her! She has a spacious yard, a spacious dedicated area for several pups to sleep and stretch and nap (complete with cozy chair), and her joy is incredible! You can tell she really loves her job and does so much to care for the pets she watches. Rebekah was so great with sending updates and pictures - we never worried about our pup at all! It was clear she was in exceptionally good hands with Rebekah! We picked up our puppy, and while she was so excited to see us, she still running up to Rebekah like she was already part of the family! Rebekah gave us a full rundown of the stay, and how much fun our pup had with her and when we got home, our puppy passed OUT from all the excitement, fun, and exercise she was able to have with Rebekah. That made our hearts so happy to know that our pup had so much fun while we were gone! We don't leave her too often because of some of her past experiences with her previous owner. Rebekah really cared for our pup and made sure she was able to just be a dog and have a really good couple of days with a new friend.”

We will be sure to keep your pup entertained and a great way to get exercise and affection while you’re away! If you have an older dog, I can offer one on one snuggle time and a calm relaxing environment separate from the other pups. We have 2 acres and enjoy outside playtime. We frequent the dog park in Louisa and hiking trails from Richmond to Charlottesville. Common treats are homemade chicken jerky and sardines. Please let me know if your pup is not on a tick preventative. We treat our yard with a dog safe spray but enjoy recreational activities away from home and would like to be extra cautious for your fur baby. I have full weekday and have full weekend availability! We enjoy going on walks in our neighborhood or the park close by early in the morning and late at night before it gets too hot. Depending on your pup’s age, younger ones will have tater and goose to play with. Older/calmer pups will stay with Winnie and I in a separated part of the house. About: I started my journey with dogs 4 years ago and have not looked back enjoying every moment since. I am a certified trainer who loves improving the relationship between human and dog. We have a dog yard plus 5 acres. All dogs stay in our extra bedroom, which is now considered the dog room. I personally have two dogs, a cattle dog and a husky mix. They are both very social with all other dogs. We like to have a good time here but I keep a very safe environment for the dogs, no fighting or picking on one another. NO DOG IS TURNED AWAY. My neighbor had 10 dogs,and I ended up taking care of them daily, taking them for walks, playing with them, training them, and of course snuggling on the couch.I've had experience with small dogs such as Jack Russells to big dogs such as German Shepherds. Most dogs tend to love me, as I give into their puppy eye look when they want me to throw the ball one more time or get an extra treat. About: I have experience with all dogs and grew up working on a farm, caring for an array of livestock to include chickens, goats/sheep, alpacas/llamas, and two sheepdogs. About: Taking care of dogs or any animal in fact has always been something I really enjoyed from a young age. I started a few years ago just reaching out to friends and family to take care of their pups and I’ve had a blast and want to make it a more every day thing. We go from negative temperature to triple digits within the year. In the times when the weather is being trying, I try and make sure my dogs get more mental exercise to combat the lesser physical exercise. With all that said, I would do the same with a clients pet. About: I’m a healthcare worker who loves pets! We had 2 Shetland sheepdogs growing up. I have raised 2 chihuahua puppies, and one needed multiple eye surgeries and follow up care. I have consistently sat for and walked friends dogs (multiple at a time). I have taken in a neighbors cats for months after an emergent situation, and my family members have cats a well. No pet too big or too small! I love them all :) I am currently working part time 2-4 days a week so I will have a lot of time to care for your pets! On my off days I’m available any time, especially day time. I can meet your pet care needs! At home we have an open field but also a fenced in area and two small dogs which can play or be separate. I can follow your schedule as far as potty and walks and am able to walk long distances and play! I know some kiddos can be picky eaters like mine so I will happily embrace your pets quirks! About: I have been blessed to grow up with a variety of animals in and around my home. I’ve had a variety of dogs that have ranged from 12lbs to 200lbs. I’ve also had cats in the home, as well. I have taken care of the basics of feeding them, giving clean water (daily), maintaining the litter box (as needed) and even giving insulin injections (to both felines and dogs). I’ve trained many of my larger breed dogs and my service dog. Bathing, feeding, walking and not just for my pets, but also friends & family. Since my sweet Bella (pictured) passed I actually have a 20lb Boston Terrier, named Lucy, now. I also live on a farm where we have 3 miniature horses and one thoroughbred big boy. I’m very flexible in my schedule and if I was needed to stay for extended periods of time, my animals would be taken care of. I’ve been on medical disability for 4 1/2yrs now. Other than my appointments I have throughout the week, my only other commitment is the upkeep of my home and taking care of my animals. I would not be bringing clients pets to my home, as it’s a spacious and fenced in yard; however, we have one dog who doesn’t play well with others. In a client’s home, unless asked by the owner, the only thing I would remove from the home (temporarily), would be the pet. I’m very cautious with another’s fur baby; so, I would treat it as my own with love, snuggles and a gentle touch. I’m always aware of my surroundings, especially with something so precious, to another. I’ve always been described as very trustworthy and compassionate, with people, as well as, with their animals. Pampering and maintaining a secure environment for your animal(s), no matter the type or the amount you may have. This way, you know that one of your family members is in the best hands possible while you take a vacation for your own self-care.
About: I’ve been taking care of family, friends, and neighbors pets since I was 10 years old. I’ve taken care of animals of all ages from puppies to senior animals. “I did a lot of homework and reviewing of boarders for my 1.5-year-old, 70 lb. Aussie/golden before landing on Robin because of her amazing reviews and years of experience. We had just had a terrible board and train situation leaving him with some pressure sores and anxiety. I am so glad I chose Robin though. She allowed me to come out a month before booking to see her facilities, get to know me and my pup, and to explain how his days would be going. Ollie looked so incredibly comfortable around her then I started calling our vacation his summer camp. She sent pictures almost daily of Ollie running around and playing with other pups. He came back to me 5 lb. lighter than before because of it (he needed it!) and I can also tell that she kept up with his training that we have been working on which I greatly appreciated. He actually looked disappointed to go home! We will of course be back and will tell everyone we know who needs a boarder! Thank you, Robin!”
“I used Charissa and Alex for over a year on a monthly basis (6 days every month) and then tried to find a boarding facility closer to where I live to reduce my driving time to Ohio. That was a mistake! The care and attention Charissa and Alex provide my dog Buster is perfect and an equivalent amount was definitely not provided at the alternative facility. I now gladly tolerate the additional 30 minutes added to my 7 hr drive because I know Buster will be happy and healthy when I pick him up. They provide 5-⭐ care every month!!”
“My husband and I travel most places with our fur babies and finding local Rovers when they can't check-in with us. While we have had good success finding trusting and loving sitters, we really were blessed to meet Mark and Daniel. Their attention to detail prior to our pets arrival, their ability to be flexible when my scheduling mistake was uncovered, but most importantly, the level of care my pups received was top-notch. The home is clean, fenced in large yard and they really love what they do. I don't know if we will be back in that area, but if we are I will re-book with Mark and Daniel.”
“Oh my word. Rebekah was a life-saver. We had a last-minute booking, and at the Meet & Greet, any fears I had were out the window. She is so friendly and welcoming that my pup ran right to her! She has a spacious yard, a spacious dedicated area for several pups to sleep and stretch and nap (complete with cozy chair), and her joy is incredible! You can tell she really loves her job and does so much to care for the pets she watches. Rebekah was so great with sending updates and pictures - we never worried about our pup at all! It was clear she was in exceptionally good hands with Rebekah! We picked up our puppy, and while she was so excited to see us, she still running up to Rebekah like she was already part of the family! Rebekah gave us a full rundown of the stay, and how much fun our pup had with her and when we got home, our puppy passed OUT from all the excitement, fun, and exercise she was able to have with Rebekah. That made our hearts so happy to know that our pup had so much fun while we were gone! We don't leave her too often because of some of her past experiences with her previous owner. Rebekah really cared for our pup and made sure she was able to just be a dog and have a really good couple of days with a new friend.”

Denver is almost 14 and so giving him the love and attention he’d get as the only dog in the home was really important to us, and not having to worry about him getting stressed out by younger dogs who constantly wanted to play for 6 days. We couldn’t have been happier. Denver was right at home, getting walks that he loves as well as plenty of chill time and attention from Jesse and Emily as well as their two girls. Jesse and Emily were great about sending us photo updates that let us know that Denver was comfy and happy. Denver is a finicky eater especially when not at home and they were great about paying attention and giving some treats here and there to get his appetite going. We would definitely leave Denver with them again!”
