As a full-time teacher, my weekdays follow a consistent and predictable schedule. I am available for afternoon visits after school, evening care, as well as overnight stays when needed. On weekends, holidays, and school breaks, I have more flexibility and can provide extended care, additional visits, or longer stays. This structure allows me to offer reliable, attentive pet care while maintaining clear communication and consistency for your pet. I care for pets with a focus on comfort, routine, and individual needs, whether in my home or in my client’s home. I follow each pet’s normal schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, and medication, and I take time to learn their preferences and personality. In a client’s home, I respect their space while providing attentive, one-on-one care and keeping pets in a familiar environment. I prioritize safety, cleanliness, and calm interactions, and I communicate regularly with updates so owners can feel confident their pet is happy and well cared for.

About: I was raised in a family of animal lovers and helped to care for at least one family pup at all times. From my grandma's cat filled house to my own dogs, I have always been surrounded by a variety of furry friends so I'm very comfortable and experienced with caring for them. About: Hi! My name is Demetra (I also go by Demi) I graduate from VCU in May 2026 with a Bachelors degree in psychology, and I am currently looking for some part time work. I love animals of all kinds- I strive to prioritize playfulness with safety. I have experience working as a kennel assistant at an animal hospital, as well as dog, cat, and house sitting for extended periods of time. I am about to graduate in May from VCU, and I will have a lot more free time on my hand! I have lived my whole life caring for animals and even some with special needs including overweight, diabetic, and some injuries I will be working remotely from home, so I have all the time day or night to stay close by to care for your pets. I am always respectful of your home and want your pet to feel as much at home with a new person present as possible. I keep very clean and leave exactly how I found your place. Prior to sitting, I usually would like an idea of what type of home you have (house, apartment, etc), how much space there is for your pets to play, and what areas are off limits for them to play or hang out. If your pets go in and outside, I’d love to run around outside and play with them or keep a close eye. I’d also be happy to go on walks with your pets around your neighborhood or wherever you prefer for some extra exercise.

About: I have experience with dogs of all ages and sizes! I raised two dogs from puppies to adulthood and trained them myself. At the time I lived on a farm and insured to keep all of my animals (3 dogs included) safe and well behaved. I am absolutely in love with animals (as many should be) and miss having that part of my life. I am a student and work part-time. Due to this, I have to be organized and prepared. As I have worked/lived off the land, I also am not afraid of getting my hands and knees dirty. I look forward to meeting you all and your beautiful fur babies! I am currently working part time and take classes purely online. This gives me a mostly free schedule and the availability to take care of your animals! I believe a dog's comfort is top priority. About: I am very flexible with hours. I am an active person and happy to play with your pet and walk them as much as needed. I grew up in the cold, so weather doesn't bother me walking or driving. I also am willing to work with your hours and do what is best for your pet. I also am always happy to send pictures and check in so you know they are living your best life. I can be flexible but I am a morning person so early walks are okay with me. I can also drop in easily through the day with little issue. I grew up with large dogs (lover (100lbs) and 2 cats, and am the current owner of a Bernese Mountain dog who I love. I love all animals but tend to lean to bigger dogs. I am newer to rover but have spent a lot of time caring for my own pets but also dog sitting for others in their homes over the last 7 years.

About: Hi, my name is Alex! I go by they/them pronouns, mostly. I’ve been around every kind of animal at least once, and I’ve had all the pets you can imagine! I’ve been around animals even before I was born and I know how to read their moods like second nature. I used to work at Holiday Pet Barn, and I’ve only ever had jobs with animals. I get along with them better than people! I love sitting back with pets and curling up with them for a nap or a cuddle session; they’re the best cuddlers. I also enjoy watching dogs run around and play or chase a ball. Yuki loves to play fetch, so dogs at my house will always have a playmate with her! I have cats and dogs of my own, but the cats tend to keep to themselves. I will only board dogs who are alright with cats and get along with other dogs. Mine are always happy to see a new face. It’s easy for me to view other pets as my own and I’ll treat them as such. I guarantee they’ll be safe and happy. I hope they love my furry kids too! Pet care is my full time job now, but if I am watching your pet, I will sleep at your house to be with them as much as I can. When boarding at my house, if I’m not around, my mom will be, so the animals are rarely ever alone. Despite possibly jumping between different pets, I can guarantee no animal will go more than 5 hours without a potty break. I also have friends who can help me out in an emergency. I treat every animal like my own, including calling them dummies when they do something goofy! I let animals on the furniture (in my home), and if they are bad, they can be reprimanded and crated. My cats avoid most animals that come over, but some of them love dogs. Additionally, we have feral cats that we have adopted outside our house, so any dog coming over MUST be alright with cats. I currently do pet care full-time, so when I am watching your pets I am with them the entire time. The only time I would not be with your fuzzy kids is when I have to go run errands/check on other pets. I do my best to treat every animal I watch like they are my own. This means lots of cuddles and playtimes, along with paying careful attention to their needs.
