Amazing with dogs, as my baby is very skiddish and slow to warm but adopted easily in their home. The second day my dog came right up to Michael, excited and tail wagging. It was a huge relief. I booked last minute after a little crisis and was so thankful to have such good people take care of my dogs. There a little out of my way but I trust them 100% with my dog. Thank you again!”

About: Animals have been a part of my life since day ONE- I grew up as an only kid on the family farm, so my pets were truly my best friends. That early bond gave me a deep, intuitive understanding of animal behavior and body language. I’ve raised and cared for dogs, cats, horses, goats, rabbits- you name it- since I was little and have always been able to tell when an animal needs space, reassurance, play, or just a quiet moment. I also have experience working with injured and/or sick animals; administering IV/IM injections, wound care/first aid, breathing treatments, etc. Today, I share my home with a sweet dog and cat, and we also own a horse who is boarded just outside of town. I care for every pet like they’re my own and develop deep bonds with the animals in my care. Whether it’s snuggling on the couch, a slow walk for a senior dog, or calming a nervous horse, I take pride in reading their needs and meeting them with patience, kindness, and care. I’m currently between jobs and using this time to re-evaluate my career goals- so I’m home during the day and have a very flexible schedule. The only regular commitment I have outside the house is feeding horses at our barn twice a week, which takes about two hours— so even on those days, I’m not away for long. We are true animal lovers and created a profile from our own personal experience and frustration finding a pet sitter while we took a vacation. We wanted Ms Pepper to be in a caring home where it would not be overwhelming or overstimulating along with other dogs from multiple homes. Therefore, we will welcome only one family at a time and animals from that one family. We want to offer you what was missing from our experience. A meet and greet will be required to ensure comfort and safety of all animals. Our dogs get along very well with dogs however we understand that (even if 5% of the time) sometimes animals scents just do not work/mix. We will meet you in a neutral place to ensure all of our animals get along together prior to hosting them. I have given our cats many medications, there’s not much I’m a stranger to at this point. We love cuddle time and play time as well Work from home the majority of the time and am available to meet your babies needs. My schedule is flexible- let me know if you have specific questions I can create a safe haven for our kitties away from our cat while they exchange scents and become comfortable with one another. When the time comes, I can introduce our cat. If you would like is to host your cat in a safe room away from other animals, I can also accommodate that.

About: In my life I have owned 6 dogs. One of which got so old she couldn’t eat or drink anything so twice a day I would have give her fluid through an IV that I placed in between her shoulder blades. One of my other dogs gave birth to 8 puppies which I cared for for 2.5 months till they were ready for their forever home. I have dog sat for neighbors and family members. My current dog has just been diagnosed with cancer so I am in charge of giving him his meds everyday and making sure he is comfortable. I have also just rescued a kitten who has really come out of her shell and is fully litter box trained. I love all animals and being a college student I don’t get to see mine very often, so I would love to come see yours and help you take care of them when you aren’t able!
