Her 3-year-old absolutely loved him, which was one of the sweetest parts of the whole experience. Spike was a little shy about eating at first, so she actually hand-fed him his breakfast until he felt comfortable enough to eat. That told me everything I needed to know about how loved and cared for he was while we were gone. Spike came home happy and clearly very comfortable with his stay. “Jade, did a phenominal job watching my three babies (cats). I had a last minute travel issue come up, and I needed to find someone to care for my three cats while I was gone. I had to book last minute, and did not have time to do a meet and greet. This was my first time using Rover, and I selected Jade based on her excellent reviews. My cats are my babies, and I have hired friends and neighbors in the past to care for them when we were gone, only to be frustrated upon return to see that the little I asked them to do, was done very poorly. Due to the last minute booking I was only able to communicate with Jade via messages, but she immediately reassured me that she would make sure our babies were well taken care of. We are in the process of selling our home, so I needed someone who would provide loving care to our cats as well as making sure they didn't track in dirt, and kept things as clean as possible when stopping to care for the cats. Jade went above and beyond, and I cannot thank her enough. My cats are terrified of anyone outside of our family, and because we have realtors showing our home right now, there are a lot of new people coming in and out, which is causing a lot of anxiety to the cats. I asked Jade to ring the doorbell and wait 30 seconds to allow the cats to get to their safe place and hide, to help keep their anxiety down. She did this everytime without hesitation. She made sure the litter boxes were clean, as well as the area around the boxes, which was greatly appreciated. Unfortunately we are moving out of state and I will not be able to use Jade's services in the future. However, if you are seeking someone to care for your animals in a loving way, and a way you would care for your animals...I would highly recommend hiring Jade. I’ve been on Rover for about a year and primarily take on housesitting roles or keep pets in my home, but I also have long term walking clients. I've had pets of all shapes and sizes since the 7th grade when I turned my dog into my science fair project (The Effect of Rewards on Dog Training). Since then, I've done obedience classes with one of my pups, worked with Australian Shepherd and Doberman rescue as a transporter and foster mom, and walked many miles with some cute pooches. I'm currently mom to one male cat, an Holland Lop, and one very typical male Golden Retriever. OH--and a seven year old human boy! I’m experienced in difficult animal behaviors such as separation anxiety and mild aggression towards other animals, potty training, medical emergencies (I am NOT clinically trained, but I’ve been through a lot of vet appointments between my pets and the rescues), and giving medication. I’m also a farmer and floral designer by trade, so I might covertly care for your houseplants as well. My work schedule is flexible, and I often work from home. I determine my own work schedule, so I can accommodate pet care most days and times. I’m very careful about not overcommitting myself, particularly when it comes to taking responsibility for other people’s pets. I offer in-home care for cat- and kid-friendly pups who get along well with other animals. Ollie the Golden Retriever will be sure to keep your dog well-entertained. He is 5 years old and still very "puppy," but ultimately, he’s a chill Golden to his core. The cat loves Ollie but are typically unimpressed by all other creatures. The rabbit rules the house.

About: 30+ years loving and caring for all types of fur babies! I've been around animals most of my life so it is second nature to me to take care of and love on them! Do you want someone not just to feed but also love your pets? I am currently between jobs and as such an available 24/7 at the moment. I have recently applied to some full time jobs, so that may update soon. In home the pets stay indoors unless needing to potty. We have a fenced in back yard with plenty of room to roam and play. At times when we are out of the house the (dogs) would be on the covered back porch with water and full access to the fenced in yard.

About: Hello y’all! I am very experienced in training dogs and caring for dogs, cats, and most other animals. I have a lot of knowledge about dog and cat health, along with other animals (reptiles, birds, horses, etc.), and different breeds. My prior amazing pittie, Bo Peep, was deaf. Thus, I know ASL commands and signs from training her myself. So, I am able to work well with other deaf/hard-of-hearing animals. I’ve been lucky enough to have and/or care for all sorts of animals throughout my entire life, especially growing up as a feral child (haha) in Florida. I always tried to bring animals home (often to my mom’s dismay), and I’ve worked with various animals (e.g. birds of all sizes, reptiles, cats and dogs especially, horses, amphibians, fish, and some other farm animals). I have no problem giving medication or following any medical-related plans. I work with pets of all ages. I look forward to meeting y’all! I am currently a therapist that works remotely from home, so I am able to be with fur babies in-between clients throughout the day to meet their needs. I am very active, so plenty of walks for pups! About: I’ve grown up around all types of pets and absolutely love all animals! We’ve had an array of animals in our house growing up such as a German shepherd, parakeets, love birds, hamsters, gerbils, hermit crabs, and Jack Russell terriers! I now own three dogs! We have a super sweet labrador, a frenchie, and a boxer-pit mix. We love taking our big dogs on hikes and out to socialize any chance we get! Daily walks and outside time are a must for our pups and we love every minute of it. I have experience with IVDD and surgeries to follow with my French Bulldog. I’m transitioning from being in the classroom full time to substitute teaching once school starts back up. I am free for the summer and will have flexibility in my schedule, especially for afternoons and evenings. I take my own pups out for a walk at least twice a day morning and evening. They also have outside time at least 3-4 times a day for 20+ minutes. If you choose to have your pet board with us we have a full privacy fenced backyard. We also have crates and gated off rooms to separate pups in they need a break or some down time. Our neighborhood is very walkable and private with low traffic.

About: My best friend of 15 years and her family have two wonderful dogs, a doodle and a lab who I have taken care of so many times. I even watched the doodle when she was just a few months old for about a week during a snow storm while her family was on vacation. They’re a handful but so much fun. I have also cat-sit for up to 3-weeks on end. Giving medicine, checking for packages, and updating if anything seems off. I am a graduate student with very flexible hours. I am happy to spend time with your pet while I study or just for personal therapy. I will make time for animals no matter what. I go above and beyond noting things like if the house temperature is uncomfortable for said pet. I keep them under constant supervision and won’t leave them alone for more than a few hours unless discussed otherwise. I am very thorough and will take extra time to make sure each pet feels comfortable and safe with a new person around them. I know what it takes to be patient with pets.

About: I’ve taken care of multiple breeds of dogs for about 7-8 years now. Able to let out often, take on walks when needed and able to calm down at night! I have a full time job where I can work from home at anytime. Can let out any pet at any hour of the day! I have a fenced in back yard that’s about 5,000 square feet. My neighborhood is pretty flat as well so walks are easily doable for any pet!

About: I’ve been around dogs since I was little. I’ve taken care of, feed played with and walked family and friends dogs and always made sure they were safe I’m currently not working so I have time to play and walk with your pups. I am able to board any day of the week at anytime! I do not have a fenced in yard but can assure you that your pups will be safe at all times. I have an older dog (8 yrs) who is the absolute best with other puppies!
