About: When I was nine, my parents got their first Afghan hound, and I was heavily involved in their dog show routine, including grooming and being a junior handler. When I moved out and started working full-time, I didn't have time for a dog, so my experience with cats started (about 25 years ago). After my second marriage though, I was back into the dog (and cat) life as my wife had two dogs when we met... that was about 10 years ago. I was laid off and I'm currently looking to fill the gap while I look for my next job. So, for now, I have a very flexible schedule. We have one dog and three cats at home now (we lost our golden doodle at the beginning of the COVID pandemic). They are all happy and healthy and have unique personalities (one cat is even trained to catch and fetch puff balls).
