“Took great care of Khoda; Spent time with him, took him for walks, kept me updated daily with photos of him, he definitely did not want to come back home lol Thank you again for taking care of my dog and ensuring his attention-needs were met. I'll definitely be in contact for future trips/vacations, I know he can't wait to come back and see his human and dog friends again!”
“Brittany was amazing! She willingly met for a meet and greet to ensure all of our comfort levels, including my two fur babies, before I even agreed to book. She also responded immediately any time I reached out. She sent me photos, and I just knew Xena and Bruno were happy and well loved during my vacation. I would 💯 book with her again.”
“She was amazing with my Tucker. He is very energetic and he was very happy. Fast responses to texts and plenty of pictures. Tucker was very sad to leave. Will definitely use her again.”
“Amanda and Jack were absolutely amazing! My girl, Onyx, had an issue with her elbow, and they handled the situation with incredible care, compassion, and professionalism. They kept me updated with photos throughout her stay, which gave me tremendous peace of mind, and they even took her on a nature hike so she could enjoy some time outdoors. It's clear they genuinely care about the animals they look after. I highly recommend Amanda's services and wouldn't hesitate to trust them with Onyx again!”
“Our mini golden doodle loved spending the weekend with her new friends! Highly recommend! Received pics and videos the whole time! We will definitely be booking again! Thank guys for everything! 🥰”
“Jordan took great care of my dog Keira. I made the request at the last minute on a Friday and was able to drop her off within an hour. I’d recommend Jordan for others in the future!”
“Johanna was absolutely excellent with my pup Mia. She kept me updated everyday by sending pictures and videos. Her dog Stella is very sweet and playful. She became to be a friend with my dog instantly. I enjoyed watching their play videos thanks to Johanne. We’ll definitely see Johanne again very soon.”
“Debbie and Adam are absolutely wonderful. Our dog, Wyatt has stayed at their home multiple times. They are very accommodating and responsive. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate dog sitter!”
“Beatriz is amazing! My dogs loved her and the attention! She made sure they were safe and happy! I honestly am pleased. Much better than a pet hotel. I thought my one dog didn't like other dogs but turns put she loves them when I'm not present. I will use her in the future and always.”
“Alysia is, without a doubt, the most spectacular human being I have ever encountered—and I’m not just saying that because she’s my best friend and knows all my secrets. She routinely defies the laws of time and space to go above and beyond for people, casually pulling off miracles even when her own schedule is a chaotic mess. Most importantly, she loves my fur babies like they are her own biological offspring, which means she is officially the favorite aunt. Whenever life decides to throw a curveball, Alysia is already there, cape on, stepping in to make sure absolutely everything is under control. 11/10 stars, highly recommend this human.”
“Tamakia was so great to our two dogs! We have one grumpy old man who is fairly needy and doesn’t warm up to just anyone, but he absolutely adores her. We’ve now booked with Tamakia twice and each time received many updates and pictures. We would definitely recommend her!”
“Rebecca was a great puppy sit for my dog Ruby! She took Ruby in the car, kept her active, and had smooth checkins. Very grateful for how easy Rebecca made it for me and Ruby. Thank you so much!”
“Another amazing stay with Beatriz and Hayden! Our little Ike loved every minute of his week with them being spoiled and loved on! They truly go above and beyond for anyone in their care! We can’t wait to book them again, they are truly the best of the best! Our sweet boy absolutely loves his time with them!”
“Emily and Patrick were wonderful! From the beginning, they were asking thoughtful questions about Ruby's needs, routine, and personality. Their dog, Eli, became a new fur friend to our pup, Ruby and the photos and videos they shared while we were away gave us peace of mind. They were also accommodating as we had to change our drop off and pick up times. We will definitely be booking them again!”
“Andrew and his family were wonderful with our dog. We were so comfortable leaving our dog in his care and our dog warmed right up to him. We received texts, with photos, from Andrew every day. He is an awesome dog sitter!!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Wyano home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Wyano.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Wyano sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
