“I would have left more than 5 stars if I could. Kayla is a wonderful human being before bein g a great pet sitter. She pet sitted our cat during our long trip overseas. She exceeded expectations. She truly cared for us and our cat. Kayla went above and beyond in every possible way, keeping us updated regularly, being attentive to every detail, and most importantly, showing so much love and care for our furry friend. Our pet clearly felt safe and happy, and we came home to a calm and well cared for companion. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!”

About: I have worked with dogs since elementary school, when I started a dog walking business in my neighborhood to pay for summer camp. Friends, family members, and neighbors, have relied on me to do tasks as simple as stop in and feed their pets, to staying with their furry friends for extended periods of time. I have also grown up with Great Danes so I know how to handle extra large dogs! I am a college student who is off for summer break, so my schedule is completely open to care for your pets, whether thats a walk a few times a week or staying over at the house for a period of time. I don't offer boarding services since I rent the space I am living in and it does not allow pets. However, when it comes to services provided in the home of the pet, I will follow any directions that are given to me to my greatest ability!

“Lindsey was spot-on each visit and made us happy to see all the photos from each trip. She communicated with details and helped us modify our dates. Thanks for letting us book last minute and for being so sweet to our kitties!”

About: For a year of my life I spent almost everyday with a big loving dog named Ham. He needed a lot of medical care for his seizures. I gave him his meds, food, potty breaks and extra attention. He became such a good friend to me. I miss him dearly. Animals are so special. Whatever you need for your pets, even if it seems silly I will do, no questions asked! I work from home every single day. I am self employed so I am not tied down with meetings or deadlines. I can take care of pets needs on a whim if I'm home. I have two senior dogs and a senior cat who are friendly with other animals and humans. They honeslty make for good therapy animals for those who aren't well socialized or experience anxiety. We live in a two story town home in a small neighborhood with a fenced in side and backyard to keep your animals safe and secure.

About: I grew up in a pet heavy household, so I can handle anything from Saint Bernards to small cats, and have dog training experience. I am also equipped for pets with medical issues, as I have cared for sick kittens for many years. I am currently a student but with a very flexible schedule and a reliable vehicle, so driving is not a problem. I am also used to getting up early to care for animals so that is not an issue for me I try to keep the routine as normal as possible for every animals so they are the most comfortable and follow owner’s instructions exactly to lessen any anxiety a pet might have.

About: I’ve cared for various pets in my hometown of St. Louis, Missouri, and I’m excited to meet friends in the Pacific Northwest! Past clients include German Shepard puppies and 12 year old terriers! I’ve been training my dog to perform as a service dog for six months. I work full-time but work remotely Thursday and Friday and have weekends off. I take my dog on a walk twice a day, three times during remote work. I also enjoy taking her to dog parks and hiking on the weekends. I have a very calm working dog who has both the energy play with your pup and help role model good behavior. As a resident of Witham Hill Oaks, I have access to great, dog-friendly walkable neighborhood and to a nearby dog park.

“Iva takes such good care of our cats! We appreciate how communicative she is and how she has great ideas of how to keep them safe, happy, and comfortable while we are away.”

About: Hi! I am a second-year veterinary student and lover of all animals who would love to care for your pet. I’ve grown up with dogs and been around them my whole life! In the past, outside of Rover, I’ve done dog-walking, pet-sitting, and worked as a kennel assistant for boarding and also a veterinary assistant! I have a bachelors degree in Animal Science and I am currently in my second year of school at the Oregon State University Veterinary Medicine program. I will aim to keep your pet’s schedule as normal as possible while you’re gone. I am comfortable giving all types of medications- oral, injections, or anything else. I can’t wait to give your pup all the love, play, and attention they need! Currently, my availability is completely open during the summer until I go back to school in September- then I’ll make adjustments as needed. I consider this my full-time job. I currently do not board in my home as I have a shy cat who doesn’t enjoy having visitors often. However, I have plenty of experience doing in-home stays or visits thanks to my past babysitting job, and you can also trust me to walk your pups outside: I have walked lots of heavy pullers and reactive dogs.

About: I have been around animals my whole life. I have professionally worked as a house/pet sitter for 3 years but I have cared for my own for as long as I can remember. I have taken care of dogs, cats, and many livestock. I have trained many of my puppies so I can handle them and have cared for many senior animals having to give them special diets and medications. My mom is a CVT and I have worked for a vet so I can handle and/or know when to call in bad situations. I will be starting school in September so I will have time between classes to care for pets. I will always make time or stay longer if a pet needs that. I make sure all animals are feeling safe wherever they may be. I make sure energetic animals get played with, shy dogs get there space, and older more lethargic dogs get there rest. I change my care based on the animal and always give them the care and love they need.

About: I am a currently in vet school studying to become a veterinarian. I have also been a vet assistant working with dogs and cats for a year. I have had cats all of my life and have done live-in pet sits for dogs. I am very active and love to exercise with other people's dogs. I have a soft spot for pets with special needs. I'm in school on the weekdays from about 9-5pm, with lunch in between. I am able to stay at the house and will spend time with your pet while studying. I do not have any regular commitments on the weekends. I will follow whatever routine you have in place for your pet to the best of my abilities so that they can adjust to a different caretaker easily.

“Anne was so sweet while taking care of my Frida! She sent pictures every day, was super communicative, and wasn't afraid to ask questions when the notes I left weren't clear (Sorry, Anne). Frida was happy and healthy when I got home and my apartment was just as I left it. I would book Anne again in a heartbeat!”

“Lauren kept in close contact while we were discussing our plans and was prompt for our appointment to meet our cats. We had to cancel due to a change in plans, but I will hire Lauren next time we need a pet sitter.”

Emma B.
“Emma housesat with our pets (two kitties and a Labrador retriever) for one month. She sent us updates, including pictures, several times per week. She made sure that vet appointments were kept, the animals were happy, and our home was clean when we returned. She was enthusiastic about taking our dog on trail adventures; our chunky girl even lost a few pounds, which she needed (per the vet). Everything was well-kept and it was clear that all pets were treated well, as they showed much affection for her. Emma is responsible and capable; we were impressed with her maturity and character. We will be seeking her services again.”

“Aga is one of the most professional dog walkers I have ever met. I really admire the following traits she has: Experience with Dogs: She has a lot of experience different breeds and temperaments. She recently lost a Cane Corso to old age and has a German Shepherd and an English Springer Spaniel. She will be able to effectively manage your dog while on walks. Reliability: Punctuality and consistency are one of Aga's core traits. Nothing more frustrating than wondering when your dog walker will show up. Trustworthiness: Aga is someone you can trust. Honestly a quality human. Your dog's trust will be proof of that once she meets them. Knowledge of Dog Behavior: Aga understands canine body language and behavior and uses this to help ensure the safety and well-being of your dog. Physical Fitness: Aga loves to walk. this trait brings a fitness that will comfortably mesh with the energy your dog has. Communication Skills: Aga loves sharing how the walk with your pup went. if you want the communication, about your dog’s behavior, needs, and any issues that arise during walks, Aga will be more than happy to convey that. Patience: Aga has the patience to handle various situations calmly, even if they appear to be getting out of hand. Passion for Animals: One of my favorite traits about Aga is that she has a genuine love for dogs. This is reflected in how she cares for her own animals, and will be evident in how she interacts with your pets. I highly recommend Aga.”
