About: I've been in a 2-3 dog (and later on one grumpy cat) household my entire life. My shared company of animals is a major part of my identity and is represented now by my pursuit of a degree in animal sciences. At times, I feel I understand them better than people; they've always been an anchor for me in difficult times. I hope my passion for creatures big and small can shine during my time caring for your furry friends. Since moving away from home to attend Oregon State University, I leave behind two goofball dogs, Grizzly Bear and Tig, and one sassy old cat, Hazel, my little lady. As a full-time student at OSU, I have classes Monday thru Friday, and though I am unopposed to weekday commitments, weekends are when I am most free. My availability: Wednesday - 1pm and beyond free Thursday - 7pm-9pm Friday - 3pm and beyond free Saturday - All day available Sunday - All day available I am open to helping out on weekdays if I am not too swamped, and would do better with short term commitments, but weekends are wide open! I am experienced with all types of pups, from chill to nervous. Throughout the walk/stay/visit, I will clearly communicate how I conduct your animal's routine and how your pets are doing during our time together. I will never do something I feel uncomfortable with and this includes keeping the safety of myself and your pet as the main priority.
About: I have taken care of multiple types of animals, I started pet sitting for neighbors around the age of 7. I have a deep love for all animals including reptiles, birds, and spiders! For full disclosure, I adopted a pup named Winnie - she is a big lovable goof with a sweet personality, who loves to play, and equally loves to chill and sleep. She gets along well with other dogs, so long as they don't exhibit aggressive behavior toward her. If I am considered for a house sitting job (or any other service), Winnie would not be joining me unless otherwise discussed. Right now I have open availability for house sitting, dog walking, and drop-in visits! I love all breeds, large and small alike. Each dog has their own personality and I adjust my service based on what your dog needs. Cuddles, play time, belly rubs or space? Whatever works for me! I adjust my care giving based on what you/your dog prefer - if you'd rather me play fetch or tug-of-war in home rather than going outside, that's perfectly fine too! I will let your dog outside to go to the bathroom as needed but I know every dogs abilities and preferences are different.

I have experience working with animals of all sizes throughout my life and if there's one thing to take away(as I am a dog mom as well..) it's.. that we want to have a special person to trust and care for our loved one, while we're at work or on a vacation or just an evening out. I know exactly how you feel and it's SO important you have time to yourself and to come back fully recharged. My evenings are open for drop-in visits, or walks. Currently not boarding, but I will watch your pup for 3-4 hours if you'd like to get out and enjoy the beautiful ocean breeze. For the love of our pets, your self care is sooo important. I've also worked in doggy daycares and mentored with a dog trainer who also used rover to board dogs. I allow the animals to take their time getting use to the new smells and surroundings, Safety and feeling relaxed is the upmost priority. To be given adequate outside time (not only to potty, but to sniff and walk around on leash or in the gated yard.) I require a leash and collar or harness. Food and treats, plus something of yours they can smell or lay on. I absolutely want both you and your pet to enjoy their time here at the Oregon Coast and if I can help be a part of making your time here special I will do everything I can to accomplish that.

Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
