About: Hey everyone! My name is Jess! I am a grad student and looking for some work. I have been around dogs my whole life and I'm quick to befriend them. One of my first memories is actually getting my childhood dog. I've been taking care of my current dog for the last 3 years and I love her tremendously. I trained her completely and she is well behaved and friendly which I contribute to my background in applied behavioral analysis (ABA). I have experience caring for my friends' and neighbors' pets when they've been away. I ensure that they said and get the attention they deserve via walks, playtime, and some quality time with pets based on what they like. I know from my own experience my dog is very set in her routines and I wouldn't want to disturb that for your pets. If we have any outside time I am very attentive of surrounding and ensuring safety. I also make sure the pets don't get into trouble in the side by getting into anything laying around. About: I have been taking care of animals for about 14 years. I have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, reptiles and so much more. I have experience with elderly dogs. I’ve had to give oral medication to my senior dog on a daily basis and I have knowledge of giving cats oral medication as well. I know how to potty train puppies if needed as well. I am very reliable, as well as very caring. I try to make your animal feel comfortable in a situation they might not understand. If needed I can bathe your animal. I currently work from home so if I’m boarding an animal I am available to walk them ever 1-2 hours for a small period of time before I have to go to get back to work. I would be home all day so I can give them so much affection and ensure they are feeling comfortable during their entire stay. I’m usually off at around 7 pm so after that I am available to go on long walks, play much more, take them to the park if it’s allowed and much much more! If I’m not boarding and it’s just a walk or a drop in or whichever service you need I am more than happy to put all my energy into this puppy!! I have too much energy from staying at home all day and plus, what better way to be more active than with animals!! When I’m caring for any pets I am very vigilant. Whether that be at my place or yours. I like to keep things clean so my house will be very organized and anything that they shouldn’t get into will be put away in a safe place. If your baby is staying with me I do have a cat. But she has grown up with dogs and I swear is more of a dog herself than she is a cat. If I’m at your home I am very respectful towards your home and your items. If anything comes up I will alert you immediately. You will find that I communicate very well and will send you tons of cute pictures of your baby when she is under my care

As I mentioned, I work remotely. I work 8am to 4:30 pm with two 15 minute breaks a day. This gives me the ability to have a constant eye on the pets I care for. Growing up, caring for our animals was always one of my favorite chores, and my family currently has a pack of 8 dogs (can't all fit in my apartment lol). About: Safety is my top priority! For boarding, pets must be friendly with other dogs and children, up to date on all vet-recommended vaccinations, and on a regular flea and tick preventative. If you’re unsure how your pet does around others, I highly recommend a meet-and-greet to ensure we’re a good fit. If boarding isn’t ideal, I’m happy to offer drop-in visits at your home instead. Thank you for understanding! As for me, I’ve been a pet owner for over 20 years and have always been the one friends and family could confide in to watch their fur, feathered or scaled friend. Whether it be for the day, a couple nights or even a couple months, when they had to be away for work, school or go on vacation, they knew they could rely on me and that I would care for their pet as if it were my own. I am a nurse but I work part time and currently going to college to further my education so I am available most days and times. I can take in pets as early as 6am and they can stay as late as 11pm or just spend the night if that is easier for your family. Also please don’t hesitate to reach out if it shows I am unavailable for any dates you might need care. I have a fenced in back yard as well as a large outdoor run the dogs can safely play in with a doggy door to an air conditioned/heated shed.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
