Have means of transportation to be able to transport animals in case of emergency, and own a black lab. I have handled all types of dog breeds and sizes and do not have any fear of aggressive animals. One of my first memories is actually getting my childhood dog. I've been taking care of my current dog for the last 3 years and I love her tremendously. I trained her completely and she is well behaved and friendly which I contribute to my background in applied behavioral analysis (ABA). I have experience caring for my friends' and neighbors' pets when they've been away. I ensure that they said and get the attention they deserve via walks, playtime, and some quality time with pets based on what they like. I'm a graduate student work part-time so I have a good deal of flexibility. I am unavailable MWF 9am-1pm and T/TH 2pm-5pm. About: I love pups! I always have and always will! Because of this, walks and play sessions are my specialty. As a dog mom of 2, I know how much energy our furry family members have and know how much attention they require. That’s why I’m here, to help you when you can’t be there for your best friend. When dog walking, I like to spend as much (or as little) time as your pup needs to make sure he or she is comfortable and happy! And of course, clean-up is no problem. Playtime is where I shine. Playing fetch, tug, and “I have your nose/paw/toy” are tried and true favorites, but whatever your dog needs, I’m here for. Quality time is important, so when you’re unable to be there, I’m happy to fill in and give your pet some extra love. I am a full-time graduate student who has a lot of flexibility during the week. My schedule differs day-to-day and will always be always be disclosed prior to accepting an assignment to ensure I am able to care for your pet as expected. I tend to care for each pet as advised by the owner. I am accustomed to a variety of different dog care routines including timed feedings, walks and administering (oral) medications. I work to make each pet feel as comfortable as possible and minimize any stress they may have due to an altered situation (such as having their pawrents go away for a weekend).

About: Safety is my top priority! For boarding, pets must be friendly with other dogs and children, up to date on all vet-recommended vaccinations, and on a regular flea and tick preventative. If you’re unsure how your pet does around others, I highly recommend a meet-and-greet to ensure we’re a good fit. If boarding isn’t ideal, I’m happy to offer drop-in visits at your home instead. Thank you for understanding! As for me, I’ve been a pet owner for over 20 years and have always been the one friends and family could confide in to watch their fur, feathered or scaled friend. Whether it be for the day, a couple nights or even a couple months, when they had to be away for work, school or go on vacation, they knew they could rely on me and that I would care for their pet as if it were my own. I am a nurse but I work part time and currently going to college to further my education so I am available most days and times. I can take in pets as early as 6am and they can stay as late as 11pm or just spend the night if that is easier for your family. Also please don’t hesitate to reach out if it shows I am unavailable for any dates you might need care. I have a fenced in back yard as well as a large outdoor run the dogs can safely play in with a doggy door to an air conditioned/heated shed.
