“When I give my cats their flea/tick medication, I have to separate them for a 24 hour period to ensure they don’t lick the medicine off each other. It’s quite stressful to try and separate them in the same house so I had Amanda care for one of them during that 24 hour period and she did such a good job! She gave my cat lots of space to calm down and get comfortable and eventually my shyest kitty felt safe enough to come out of hiding for some pets and attention. Amanda was great with her and sent me regular updates and even pictures so I always knew how she was doing. I was maybe more nervous about the separation than my cat was but Amanda made the whole experience so much easier on both me and my cat. Highly recommend her if you need someone to watch one of your fur babies!”

She is always and time and take the time she needs to get to know the animals she meets. She is very caring and always looking out for the best interest of the animals she comes in contact with. She can read animal behavior and knows what to do to correct and redirect when it is needed. She is one of my favorite people and will do a great job with all the animals she works with.”

About: Gone through behavioral classes with my own pets. Experienced with multiple dog breeds. Can work with medium to larger dogs confidently. Happy to provide treats while walking I live with two hyper active dogs and daily to weekly have to take them for walks. Parks are fun but having set routes are always better in my experience with the familiar surroundings and smells. I do my best to avoid conflict or uncomfortable situations. I love providing routes for owners reassurance and comfort! Providing photos or updates when requested and or regularly. I focus on the setting pets up for success and not failure when walking. Familiar or regulars routes, providing buffers in uncomfortable situations and avoiding conflicts.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of all kinds as far back as I can remember. Whether a pet of my own or a neighbors I am watching I have always loved caring for animals. I am currently a full time nursing student, but do not have a job besides that leaving me lots of free time to care for your animals. I have a cat of my own that loves lounging in the various perches set up around my apartment. I make sure he has plenty of food, water, and entertainment every day and will do the same for your pets.

About: I have taken care of dogs and other animals for over 15 years. My friends, family, roommates, and neighbors have always relied on me to help with their pet care through the years. I currently work full time. I can assist in the mornings and or nights during the week. Generally on weekends I have more flexibility to help in the AM and or PM. I will ensure to follow your personalized instructions and routine for your pup with kindness, love, and positive energy. I will ensure they are happy and safe in my care. In the past, when I have cared for dogs for a couple weeks at a time, I'll regularly check in with the owner and send pictures of the pup to help with the time away.

About: Willings to be flexible and create great care for your animals. I have two dogs myself and the best part of my day is spending time with them. I'm currently self-employed so my schedule is very flexible and fits into my weekly routine . I work from home a lot and have time to make sure my dogs are living their best life. I have a mid size fenced yard that is blocked off so my dogs cannot get out and check on them regularly to make sure they are behaving, getting along and playing.
